About: Hello! I am Kyle and I have had dogs and cats my entire life, I love animals and wish I had space for more. Currently I have one antisocial 10 yr old bowling ball (old English bulldog) who I adopted when he was 1. I thought with some work he might accept other dogs but it turns out he prefers people and kitties exclusively in his life. My wife and I keep him entertained most days though, and he does sleep maybe 80% of the time haha. For the past 12 years I have pet sit in-home and house sit for a handful of families I know in the area. I have recently switched to part time employment to focus more on pet sitting and my art. I have found an animal rescue to volunteer with in my spare time in every place I’ve lived in. My profile picture is from an event I helped organize with Three Little Pitties Rescue in Friendswood. At my previous job we held pet food drive and “puppy time” events with the community a few times a year. Before this I worked with a rescue out in the country in North Texas cleaning up after and feeding the pups. I am available for in-home pet sitting, day visits, or dog walking only. I am a big guy, 6’ and 230lbs so I am good with big dogs but I need to know up front if they will try to bolt on me on leash or something so I am prepared. I have lots of experience with reactive dogs, and dogs who are difficult to walk on lease. I am flexible and respectful, I understand things come up or schedules need to be adjusted for you or your pets. I will show up on time and I always have reliable transportation. Send a message with a little bit about what you are looking for and any questions for me. I am looking forward to meeting you! I currently work part time and help take care of my mom most days. Pet care for me will be drop in and leave after, not staying long periods during the day or overnight. Frequency of visits and overnight need to be discussed first, if your pet has high needs and frequent potty breaks I would likely not be the best sitter for you. You and your pets comfort is my highest priority. I know how scary it is to leave your best friends with a new person and I want to make that as easy as possible. Tell me your dogs quirks, give me that multiple page document of hand written pet sitting notes. You know your pet best, if lots of treats is best or talking really softly or whatever helps your pet feel more comfortable. Generally animals feel comfortable around me, and skittish ones I have unlimited patience with. I have worked with lots of dogs and cats who hide or bark/hiss around new people. I know how to read body language and give them space when needed and try to get them to trust me being in their space.

About: Hi i’m mattie, I’ve taken care of all kinds of dogs and cats since I was 12. I love animals and I’ve had big dogs, small dogs, and cats myself, i’ve also taken care of all kinds of dogs and cats for my family and neighbors. I am starting college and I only have a few classes a day so I wouldn’t be gone more than 3-4 hours, dog sitting is perfect for my daily routine! Making sure they get lots of love , they are cared for according to their needs , fed, and reading their body language to see whether they want to play or rest.

About: I have owned over 10 cats and 6 dogs in my life.. I have taken care of pets for a little over 2 years now for 3 families and various friends. I enjoy it so much I’m wanting to grow in my community! I always seem to be the person shy cats or dogs will come up to and let pet. I get a chuckle and sense of accomplishment when people say “Wow my cat never goes up to strangers like that.” 😅 I believe having calm, trusting, reassuring energy is key when taking care of and getting to know pets. They need to feel safe. I will treat your pets as if they were my own! Very familiar with senior care for older dogs and cats like eye and ear drops, hiding medicine in food, special diets, etc. I currently work from home. I own my own furniture restoration and upholster business so I have a lot of flexibility to help! We only have one daughter whose school is right down our street. We currently have two Siamese cats that are indoor only. They get mixed wet/dry food everyday and lots of play time. I also take care of multiple small breed dogs for family. Go feed them twice a day, twice a day. I always believe trust is earned.

About: I’ve been taking care of all kinds of animals since I was 15. In my circle, I am the trusted pet caretaker! When caring for pets I have administered medication’s in all forms, i.e. a liquid via mouth, a tablet via mouth or in food. One of my favorite things when caring for animals is getting to watch them be unique and goofy in their own way! I am no stranger to taking them on walks, taking them to parks, picking up after in the yard, cleaning litter boxes, taking care of puppies/kittens or senior pets! I’ve done it all! My dad will tell you I should’ve been a veterinarian. *IMPORTANT NOTE* When I am housesitting, I never bring my own animals. I am currently in between careers and I am doing odd jobs in the meantime. I am able to self schedule everything I am doing as of late. However, your pet needs to be cared for I am more than willing to accommodate! I am a firm believer that the most comfortable place for an animal is a place. They already know. Taking care of an animal in its own home for an extended period of time reduces the stress for that pet. They get to keep up with their normal routine and don’t have to worry about fighting for attention from other pets. allowing them to stay in their own home means they have my full undivided attention!

About: I have always had great experiences with dogs of all shape and size. From puppy liters to great danes. They all enjoy a good ear rub and belly scratch. I also have a family member that runs a boutique petfood/supply store and gives us all the inside info on the best foods and snacks to feed our fur babies. Pets always get the snacks and head scratches in the morning and evening. I always make sure they get attention and exercise they need for the day. I have fenced in yard, 2 crates available, LG and Med. We have NO CATS, I only host 1 family at a time. Only 2 pups at a time, must meet mine at neutral location: city park/dog Park.

Animal welfare is a really big passion of mine and it’s important that we advocate for the ones who cannot speak for themselves. 💛🐾 I’ve been a veterinary technician for 6 years now, and through my job, I’ve realized that there are pet owners who would prefer to have their dogs/cats be in the comfort of their own home, while they’re away. Some of them may be too anxious to go boarding or they’ve heard horror stories. So, it’s important for me that we don’t interrupt their routine and keep them as happy and comfortable as possible while you’re away from home. A little into my personal life: -I’m 30 years old. -I have two dogs: Marley, my senior boy. He’s 16 years old and doesn’t seem to have much thoughts lol but he’s still trucking a long. It’s his word, we’re just living in it. Yumi, my 6 year old girl. We like to call her the sweetest, most beautiful bby in the entire world. She’s a sweet heart and is a proud member of the lamb chop cult. Both of my dogs are adopted from shelters. 🐾💛 -My hobbies are reading, watching horror movies, playing my ninendo switch, and spending time with my husband/dogs. I like to be as transparent as possible with you, and I do my best to try and leave for lunch and give your babies a potty break, but it’s not always a guarantee, given the nature of my job. I really try not to disrupt their routine while you’re away and I will love on them and care for them like they’re my own.
