“Our new puppy Charles was instantly smitten with Lindsey, and we knew we had found a true gem. Leaving Charles in her care for 5 long hours was a breeze, as we had absolute faith in her abilities, and this was our first time leaving Charles without my husband or myself being home. We are absolutely thrilled with Lindsey and the exceptional care she provided for our precious 3.5-month-old puppy Charles. We look forward to working with Lindsey again in the near future.”

“I found Megan was very responsible. My dog, Maizie, was well taken care of and I enjoyed the pictures Megan sent very much. My house was in great order when I returned.”

“Elizabeth was awesome! I highly recommend her. She would send me pictures of Luna everyday. It really helps me not stress about leaving her. I can tell that Luna was well fed and well cared for. I will be looking at Elizabeth's availability in the future when I take another trip!”

“Maggie was incredible! She took amazing care of our girl while we were away, keeping us updated with multiple photos each day and staying in great communication throughout. We couldn’t have asked for a better dog-sitter and will definitely be booking with her again!”

“Karlie is the sweetest! For the meet and greet I felt immediately comfortable and my dog loved her from the start. She was exceptionally communicative and let us know when things weren’t going according to plan immediately. I came home and she even left it better than she found it! I wasn’t expecting her to clean up after my dog on a muddy day but she did that and washed the towels. Karlie goes above and beyond and I plan on using her services as longs as she wants to!”

About: I've taken care of all kinds of different animals, including cats, dogs, turtles, fish, among many others. I've been a pet owner my entire life, and have taken care of neighbors and family/friend's animals since I was a child. I've been a member of trusted house sitters and care . com and have provided excellent care for local families for years, so you can rest assured I will treat your pets and home like my own, in the best way possible. I'm currently working part-time remotely so I have plenty of time and flexibility in both my every day and weekly routines. I have someone that can take care of my cat so I can stay in-home to give better care to your pets. I only care for animals in their own home, which helps them be more comfortable since their routine isn't changed as much. I'm happy to take dogs on walks and to parks if they're amicable with others.

“Sophia was absolutely wonderful! She was professional, communicative, and kind. She took amazing care of my pups, sending regular updates and photos that gave me total peace of mind. I came home to happy, relaxed pups and couldn’t have asked for a better experience. Highly recommend Sophia to anyone looking for a reliable and caring sitter!”

“Literally a god send. Our dog has many needs and taking care of him just seems to come as second nature to her. She’s great and will become our first option when needing service.”

About: I am a HUGE dog lover! I’ve had family dogs growing up my whole life, I’ve pet/house sat for family friends many times and love meeting all the new pups! I work in a remote/hybrid role at a marketing company, I can spend plenty of time at home with your pup. This is especially helpful for dogs that have separation anxiety. I am careful to follow any and all instructions left by the client. I do this because love my own dogs dearly and would want the same for them.

“The pets seem happy and healthy when we came back. She stayed in communication before, during, and after around planning, timing, and how they were doing. However, I had said we would be on a tight timeline and asked her to arrive on the early side of the booking window and whether or not her own personal pets would conflict with my care of mine. She arrived at the literal last minute of the booking window and then left hours early to return to her own pets knowing our destructive puppy did not have a kennel at my house at the time and my older dog has separation anxiety (hence hiring the house sitter instead of drop in visits). I think from a sitter perspective she’s great for the pets, but might not be best for pets with separation anxiety or if you have a tight schedule.”

About: I have a lifetime of experience in pet care. Bathing, walks, play dates, trips to the dog park- I do it all! (And I’m happy to do a meet and greet before booking.) I have a 5yo basset hound & 2 cats and we love to have company! My senior dog recently passed away from cancer and for the last few years of his life he received several medications daily, so I’m very comfortable administering meds on schedule for your pets. Whether I'm boarding your pet or coming by to do drop-ins, I love to take pictures and send updates. If you book with me you should have no doubt in your mind that your pets are being loved and cared for. I don't believe animals have bad intentions, most pets are nervous in a new place (especially in the first 24 hours) and I am patient and loving to them just as I would hope someone would be to my pets! My current schedule allows me open availability for house sitting, day care, and boarding! I’ll be with your pet 24/7 and can send periodic updates as often as you’d like. If I’m doing a drop in or house sitting then you can rest assured that I will treat your home with respect and provide detailed reports of each visit!

“Avry did a great job caring for our very anxious and high-strung Dutch shepherd, our dachshund, and our tiny cat. She was very responsive with communication and left our house looking beautiful. We hope to book with Avry again!”

“Vera did a wonderful job staying at our house caring for our 2 dogs and 1 cat. She followed our directions and kept to the routine for the pets. One of our dogs is a senior dog and she did wonderfully with her and administered her medication! The pets loved her! She did a great job checking in often and sharing pictures and updates. It was our first time using Rover and she did a wonderful job making this a positive experience for us and our pets. We would recommend and hope to have her pet sit for us again in the future.”

About: I’ve grown up always having dogs, cats, and fish in my home (even a snake at one point). To say I’m an animal lover would be an understatement. Along with my own pets, I’ve also taken care of neighbors’, family members’, friends’, and others’ pets, throughout the years. I have experience with a variety of pet species and age, including puppies/kittens and seniors. I’m available anytime for the rest of the summer, and anytime in the fall, as I am an online student and currently do not have a part-time job other than pet sitting. I unfortunately do not currently offer boarding services, as my cat does not like making new friends. However, I can ensure that your pets will feel loved when they are in my care! I can do drop-ins, full time/overnight care, walks, etc. to make you and your pets feel cared for.

“Alexis was amazing, she sent us pictures and kept us updated on our pups. She made sure our puppy was taken care of. I would definitely be using her in our next vacation plans to watch our kids.”

“I had Belinda come watch my two dogs recently (one being a VERY hyper puppy) and am so pleased with her services! This was their first time ever being away from me, and I came back to them being as happy as can be! Belinda was super friendly, very quick to respond to messages, and had no issue working around my traveling to meet with me for dropping off/picking up the keys. I also received several updates and pictures throughout the weekend. I would without a doubt recommend her to anyone needing a sitter!”

Jacob W.
“I have known Jacob since 2019 and we have become great friends over the years. Jacob like myself is an animal lover and full of compassion. Jacob currently looks after my blind cat Finn when I am out of town. I can't think of anyone I trust more to stay in my home to make sure Finn is safe and looked after. A blind cat is a bit more work and just different to care for, but Jacob follows the long list of notes I leave for Finn and even does extra things for me while he is there. He always makes sure our home is secure and safe as well. Honestly Jacob was my first thought for Finn's care in times of my absense when I decided to adopt. I knew Finn would be great having Jacob and I don't worry at all knowing who is looking after Finn. I have never questioned Jacob being an honest and responsible young man. He just is, meet him and you will see it too. When you need a kind, respectful and responsible person to care for your pet, that is trustworthy, Jacob with his compassion for animals and great work ethic would be a great caregiver to get to know.”
