“Kathy stayed in our home for six days and took such wonderful care of both our home and our two cats, each with very different personalities. She did a fantastic job of keeping both of them company and happy, which isn’t an easy task! We received photos almost every day, and all communication went smoothly, giving us peace of mind while we were away. Kathy is a kind and soft-spoken woman who instantly puts you at ease, and her experience far exceeds what her Rover profile reflects. We will definitely be rebooking with Kathy in the future. At our request Amber made a couple of pre-visits to warm up to our dogs (90 and 60 pounds, both with medications needed daily, one with special needs) and get the rundown of schedules, expectations, etc. Amber kept us updated throughout our booking with pictures and texts. She really showed a love for our dogs as if they were her own! Amber went above and beyond in one instance, cleaning up a rather large and messy “accident” our special needs girl had. We couldn’t recommend Amber more for anyone looking for in-home visits or while you’re gone overnight.”

About: I’ve taken care of animals and had pets all my life. Vast experience with dogs, cats, rabbits, birds, chickens, ducks, Guinea pigs, ferrets, hamsters, bearded dragons/chameleons, frogs/toads. Love any and all animals. I work remotely and can check on pets or care for them around the clock. I treat them as I would treat my own dog! I can house sit and care for your pups while you travel either staying in your home or coming by early and staying late. I am currently renting and not able to watch animals in my home other than my Labrador, Charlie. If you only have a need for a short outing of approximately 2 hours, we can hike or hit the dog park.

About: I grew up with dogs both big and small. We also had the most antisocial cats who I tried very hard to get to love me. 100% transparency, I'm trying to pay off my student loans, but that doesn't mean I won't love and care for your pets any less. I have a pretty flexible schedule and I usually have free time during the middle of the the day. Each day is a little different, but generally have some flexibility. I will make sure pets always have fresh water and lots of pets. I will keep an eye on behavior and how they are feeling and keep you updated as much as you need me to.
