“Amber has raised 3 family friendly dogs and has boarded our dog on several occasions, sometimes for just a day or two, but most often for a week or more. Amber is great with animals, very responsible, patient, compassionate, and kind. I highly recommend her!”
2. Elias V.
“Thanks for being so kind to our children and pets!”
3. Julia B.
“Julia was great. She helped out greatly on short notice and made herself available. It can be a bit chaotic with 4 dogs, but she handled herself and my clan well. It was nice getting the pics during her visit. During our meet and greet she really took to the boys and they seemed comfortable with her, especially my big boy, Clyde. I hope she’d help again if we needed. Thanks so much Julia!”

About: I have several years of experience dog/pet sitting including overnight stays. I enjoy taking dogs on daily walks, and playing catch or tug of war to help them get in their daily exercise. Some dog breeds I have long-term care experience with (one-week to month-long pet sitting) include labs, golden retrievers, formosan mountain dogs, and bullmastiff. Although I love all the furry friends! I am also experienced in caring for multiple pets—the most being two dogs, two cats, and one stray, for two separate month-long sits. I am comfortable walking multiple dogs at a time. I also have experience feeding dogs and cats oral medications. I am happy to do house calls for walks and feeding, as well as overnight stays. During overnight stays I make sure the house stays clean and tidy, and that the pets follow their house rules! My schedule is very flexible, and I have a lot of daytime availability for walks and potty breaks. I work as a server/bartender, so am generally scheduled weekend evenings. My shifts last about 6 hours, so for house sitting/overnights, 6-7 hours would be the maximum amount of time the pups would be on their own. If sitting is scheduled with enough advance I can also get this down to only 5-6 hours. I currently cannot offer pet service in my own house. In a client’s home I always make sure I understand what the house rules are for the pets, as well as for guests! I am happy to meet clients in a public setting first if they feel more comfortable with that before inviting me to their home. I understand how important people’s homes and pets are to them, and do everything I can to communicate with reliability and respect. I love taking care of animals, and want both you and your pets to have a great experience with me.

About: First, it was cats. I had cats underfoot in my home from childhood well into adulthood. That translates into years of experience caring for cats, and approximately one metric ton of kitty litter scooped. Then I became an adopted dog father when I moved in with my partner and their dog, who we’ll call “Lady.” I was a remote worker, so I got to spend just about all day, every day with Lady until her passing in 2021 at the age of 12. Since then, I’ve kept dogs and cats in my life by caring for the pets of my fellow community members as if they were my very own. I have a reasonably flexible schedule, but good communication and coordination is important, especially in the winter. Weather and/or other hazardous conditions can impact my ability to provide services. Before our first engagement, I will meet with you to learn about things like: * Your ground rules for me when interacting with your pets, or anything else in/on your property. * If applicable, how to safely enter and exit your home and/or property. * Your preferred walk routes, dog parks, and other activities involving outdoor exercise. * Day-to-day care. Meal times, potty routine, etc. We all know that pets can have an uncanny sense of time. It helps me to have a general idea of what your pet might be expecting, and when.

11. Janina M.
“Janina was wonderful in taking care of my cat Monty! She kept him very entertained as he is a high-energy cat. She played with him, fed him, scooped the litter box, and everything I expected her to do. Janina sent me pictures of him as well while I was away, which I very much appreciated! She was very respectful and knowledgeable of feeding times and how to feed him. I highly recommend Janina if you need someone to look after your furball!”
12. Tamara M.
“Our family was very fortunate to have someone take such great care of our boy. Tammy sent us photos and texts with updates of Mr. Porters shenanigans each day as she knew we were nervous about leaving our boy behind. She took him on several walks each day and gave him all the love and snuggles he wanted. We were truly lucky to have Tammy!”

About: i currently work at a doggy daycare and have experience with many breeds of dogs and i’ve been an owner of multiple cats over the years. Friends and family have trusted me to watch their pets while they’ve been away as well. I’m currently working full time but i get out earlier some days and have others off. About: I've wanted a dog since as long as I knew they existed but never had the resources to have one of my own. So when I was 12 I got my first dog-walking job and I never looked back! Though I've never had my own dog, I've had the privilege to care for numerous furry friends, of various sizes and personalities, including Doyle the Catahoula Leopard dog we fostered. I moved to Brattleboro in September 2019 and had to leave my 2 cats, Nibbles and Tricks at home. Now do to housing rules I cannot have my own pet which is why I am so excited to take care of yours! I am a student at New England Center for Circus Arts and spend my weekdays there, but I can care for your pets in the morning, evening and during my lunch break at noon. I can give your pet even more attention on weekends! I travel a lot but when I am in town I have a very flexible routine that can mold to the needs of your pet! I am unfortunately unable to care for pets in my own home, but well I am at your home, I ensure your pet is kept safely and out of trouble!
