For instance, when the Weimaraner I watch gets anxious due to people walking past the house, I talk to her in a soft voice and pet her until she calms down. If I zip to the store, I will close the blinds so she is not in a position to be triggered by this stimulus.

About: I have over 10 years of pet care experience including walks, overnight stays, and short visits. I also grew up with dogs and have lived with a few different cats in my adult life. I am new to the Rover app but am happy to provide references upon request. I work Monday-Friday 11-5 in Brattleboro. I can do overnights any day of the week, but just know that on these days I will be away for 6-7 hours depending on distance from your house. I love taking dogs on long walks and can do so 2-3 times a day. I am super communicative and experienced at house sitting while pet sitting. I am very respectful of people's homes and pets' routines. About: I've been around dogs my entire life. At about 5 years old, my father adopted my grandfather's two Beagles and they quickly became my best friends. Today, I have 2 dogs at home, one that's 17 and one that's 7. And still they're my best friends. For as much as I love dogs, it really does feel like they love me back. Whenever I go over anyone's house I hear " Wow he never behaves this well around people normally." Each dog is so unique and the most fun thing for me is learning what makes them wag their little tails! I work from home from my apartment and only have one roommate so I'm incredibly flexible when it comes to scheduling. I'm sure that I could make just about anything work given a small notice. I have a two room apartment and a kitchen. Playing and feeding is easy for me in the apartment, but I also have a park right near me, about a 5 minute walk away.

I believe knowing pet body language is so important because that’s how they communicate their needs. I will care for your love ones as if they were my own! About: I’ve been a reliable source of pet care for friends and family, including midday potty breaks, walks, and check-ins. I provide consistent, attentive care you can count on! I work as a dental hygienist Monday–Thursday, and offer pet care Fridays through Sundays. My limited availability allows me to provide focused, reliable care on weekends. Pets in my home are always supervised in a calm, structured environment. I have one well-trained, timid dog. Due to an unfenced yard and nearby road, all outdoor time is on leash for safety.

About: I’ve had pets since I was about 4 years old, and am experienced with caring for cats and dogs. Any needs they have, I will take care of them all - from simple company when you're at work, to walks, giving meds and overnight stays! I have experience training puppies too, from potty training to the classic "stay", "sit", "come", "leave" etc. commands. I have a large dog myself so size of your pet is no issue. Anything you're unsure about, shoot me a message! I work full time at a school but am free weekdays after 2pm until around 10pm. On weekends I am free from Friday afternoon until Monday morning so I can do overnight stays too if needed. Depending on the care required, I will feed pets, give them meds, take them outside, play games/fetch/etc., brush them, empty litter boxes and so on. I have had several cats and dogs of my own and cared for many more, so I am comfortable with adjusting to their different personality types.

Would prefer no off leash unless securely fenced area.
