“Sam did an amazing job hanging out with our cat this week! She fed him, cleaned his box, played with him and was very sweet to our cat during her visits. Winston was very comfortable and a happy boy with Sam. I've had issues with some other sitters just coming in, feeding him and leaving after 5 mins but not clocking out until way after they left.... and he's a needy cat. He needs attention so it hurt to know they weren't spending any time with him, but Sam went above and beyond and ill continue to keep in contact with her to watch my kitty when she's able ? 10/10”

About: Hello! My name is Darcy and I have grown up around animals and I have had animals all my life. I had two horses and I was riding competitively up until college. I received my Associates degree in Animal Science from the Thompson School of Applied Science at the University of New Hampshire, along with getting my Bachelor's degree in Communication from the University of New Hampshire as well. I work a hybrid schedule and also have a car for transportation which allows me to be very flexible with my schedule. I look forward to giving your dogs the best love and care while you are away! “Grace Z is an extremely well rounded person with a caring heart. I have two German Short Hair-Pointers (very high strung dogs) and she took care of them for days at a time when I was away. She did a great job with them, and not only did the dogs absolutely love her but they became so fond of her I swear they loved her more than me. She is an extremely responsible and attentive person who makes sure that she knows every detail about the dog to provide the best care possible. She always made me feel like my dogs were in great hands whilst often times delivering me with absolutely adorable picture updates. She is overall an superb caretaker and I would recommend her to anyone looking for a pooch-care(er) :)”

About: I've lived with dogs my whole life. I absolutely love animals and was given responsibilities to help care for our dogs pretty young. I've always helped care for the dogs at home and have learned a lot about various dog language through them. I am currently working from home, leaving my schedule very open to accommodate your pet's needs. My normal hours are 10am to 6pm Monday through Friday, though I would be happy to discuss hours outside those times as well. In my home, I provide consistent daily care, including feeding, watering, and maintaining a safe, nurturing environment. I observe each pet’s behavior closely, as I believe behavior is communication, allowing me to understand their needs and spot potential issues. I create a pet-friendly space by minimizing hazards, using pet-safe products, and enforcing boundaries like keeping cats off counters. When caring for pets in clients’ homes, I recognize they are part of the family and tailor my approach to their specific needs. I ask detailed questions to understand routines and boundaries, ensuring the pet feels comfortable and secure. About: I’ve taken care of dogs and cats since I was about 7. In my house hold we currently have three dogs and three cats. The cats all behave and I’ve taught the dogs various proper behaviors and tricks. I’ve helped watch new born puppies as well as older dogs and I’m very confident with taking care of any animal. I’m currently working a part-time along with college but I am completely free all day on Thursdays and Fridays to take care of your animals! Everyone handles their pets differently so I can just stick with the routine you currently have with your pets so as to not confuse them!

About: I've wanted a dog since as long as I knew they existed but never had the resources to have one of my own. So when I was 12 I got my first dog-walking job and I never looked back! Though I've never had my own dog, I've had the privilege to care for numerous furry friends, of various sizes and personalities, including Doyle the Catahoula Leopard dog we fostered. I moved to Brattleboro in September 2019 and had to leave my 2 cats, Nibbles and Tricks at home. Now do to housing rules I cannot have my own pet which is why I am so excited to take care of yours! I am a student at New England Center for Circus Arts and spend my weekdays there, but I can care for your pets in the morning, evening and during my lunch break at noon. I can give your pet even more attention on weekends! I travel a lot but when I am in town I have a very flexible routine that can mold to the needs of your pet! I am unfortunately unable to care for pets in my own home, but well I am at your home, I ensure your pet is kept safely and out of trouble!

She is responsible for both the mom and her puppies for 5 weeks at a time. Grace is responsible, mature, kind, and has a huge heart for animal care! She stopped by my house on two occassions to get acquainted with Melody and Doby before my trip. It was love at first sight. She connected with them within minutes. She was authentic and warm while playing and building trust with them. She sent videos, photos and daily updates; giving me peace of mind. She fed my outdoor squirrel and bird friends. I was going to have her drop-in 3 times a day however she was willing to stay over. I was thankful my babies were not left alone at night; they slept with her. She is trustworthy, reliable and genuinely loves animals. The house was immaculate upon my return. Without hesitation I would ask Hayley if she were available during our next trip.”
