4. Brandy V.
“Brandy has stayed at our home with our precious dog and cat for over two years and she is an incredible person and caretaker. We always feel fully confident in her presence while we are away and know that she understands our furry babies, our own dynamics in how we like them and our home taken care of, and always feel secure in that everything is being handled with care and attention to detail when she is here. Brandy has an incredible aura and is a delight to be around. Our pets absolutely adore her, as do we. She is a dependable, trustworthy, kind, and generous person who will do anything she can for the ones she is taking care of. We put our full trust in her.”

About: I have several years of experience dog/pet sitting including overnight stays. I enjoy taking dogs on daily walks, and playing catch or tug of war to help them get in their daily exercise. Some dog breeds I have long-term care experience with (one-week to month-long pet sitting) include labs, golden retrievers, formosan mountain dogs, and bullmastiff. Although I love all the furry friends! I am also experienced in caring for multiple pets—the most being two dogs, two cats, and one stray, for two separate month-long sits. I am comfortable walking multiple dogs at a time. I also have experience feeding dogs and cats oral medications. I am happy to do house calls for walks and feeding, as well as overnight stays. During overnight stays I make sure the house stays clean and tidy, and that the pets follow their house rules! My schedule is very flexible, and I have a lot of daytime availability for walks and potty breaks. I work as a server/bartender, so am generally scheduled weekend evenings. My shifts last about 6 hours, so for house sitting/overnights, 6-7 hours would be the maximum amount of time the pups would be on their own. If sitting is scheduled with enough advance I can also get this down to only 5-6 hours. I currently cannot offer pet service in my own house. In a client’s home I always make sure I understand what the house rules are for the pets, as well as for guests! I am happy to meet clients in a public setting first if they feel more comfortable with that before inviting me to their home. I understand how important people’s homes and pets are to them, and do everything I can to communicate with reliability and respect. I love taking care of animals, and want both you and your pets to have a great experience with me.

About: First, it was cats. I had cats underfoot in my home from childhood well into adulthood. That translates into years of experience caring for cats, and approximately one metric ton of kitty litter scooped. Then I became an adopted dog father when I moved in with my partner and their dog, who we’ll call “Lady.” I was a remote worker, so I got to spend just about all day, every day with Lady until her passing in 2021 at the age of 12. Since then, I’ve kept dogs and cats in my life by caring for the pets of my fellow community members as if they were my very own. I have a reasonably flexible schedule, but good communication and coordination is important, especially in the winter. Weather and/or other hazardous conditions can impact my ability to provide services. Before our first engagement, I will meet with you to learn about things like: * Your ground rules for me when interacting with your pets, or anything else in/on your property. * If applicable, how to safely enter and exit your home and/or property. * Your preferred walk routes, dog parks, and other activities involving outdoor exercise. * Day-to-day care. Meal times, potty routine, etc. We all know that pets can have an uncanny sense of time. It helps me to have a general idea of what your pet might be expecting, and when.
8. Mike & Laura O.
“Mike was so fantastic with our dog Preston! Since Mike has senior dog experience, he really knew exactly how to handle Preston with love and care, he was a great communicator and we will definitely working with him again!”
9. Nancy W.
“Nancy could teach a class on what it means to be kind and the best kind of friend, one who can be relied upon and a talent for understanding needs as a friend to people and pets alike. I cannot speak more highly of anyone I would trust more to look after my own fur baby.”
10. Joseph K.
“Joseph has cared for my 2 dogs and 2 cats for a week at a time in my home over the last couple years. He is always dependable and does every detailed thing I ask of him. It is nice to go away and know my pets are in good hands. He communicates well when things come up that need attention. He is a great guy who I was lucky to meet through his work in my children's school.”
11. Alyssa & Kayleigh C.
“Alyssa and Kayleigh took wonderful care of our senior cat! They had no problem administering his medications and spent good time with him. Their notes, updates, and photos assured us that he was in good hands. Would definitely book them again!”
12. Molley T.
“We used Molley for the first time with very short notice. She was super responsive and timely. And our pooch was very happy. We will definitely book Molley again.”
13. Emily P.
“Emily is a wonderful dog sitter. She has taken care of my dog and cat and stayed in our home for several years now. I know I can count on her to be a loving and caring animal sitter. She always leaves our home the way she found it. She takes care of our salt water fish as well. As long as she is available I would not ask anyone else to stay in our home. Our dog Ray adores her.”
14. Deb L.
“Deb stepped in when we were out of town and our dog sitter got sick and couldn't care for our dogs. She left us wonderful updates after each visit filled with information and photos. I felt our dogs were well taken care of the whole time. We arrived home to a wonderful note and dog treats for our pups.”

About: I've wanted a dog since as long as I knew they existed but never had the resources to have one of my own. So when I was 12 I got my first dog-walking job and I never looked back! Though I've never had my own dog, I've had the privilege to care for numerous furry friends, of various sizes and personalities, including Doyle the Catahoula Leopard dog we fostered. I moved to Brattleboro in September 2019 and had to leave my 2 cats, Nibbles and Tricks at home. Now do to housing rules I cannot have my own pet which is why I am so excited to take care of yours! I am a student at New England Center for Circus Arts and spend my weekdays there, but I can care for your pets in the morning, evening and during my lunch break at noon. I can give your pet even more attention on weekends! I travel a lot but when I am in town I have a very flexible routine that can mold to the needs of your pet! I am unfortunately unable to care for pets in my own home, but well I am at your home, I ensure your pet is kept safely and out of trouble!

About: Having grown up with multiple animals in the house at all times, I’m no stranger to different temperaments or needs. I’m flexible and understanding; and have a huge care-taking driven heart. I’d truly enjoy helping you give your furry friend a little extra love! I currently work on the weekends and have more free time throughout the week to stop in and take care of your babies! I have a young child and a puppy of my own who tag along with me on almost all of my adventures, and love care taking as well. I have a puppy under the age of 1 year, 2 young friendly cats, and a 4 year old son who adores and respects animals as well. Your fur baby will be comfortable, entertained, and well loved in our full house!
19. Ambria M.
“Ambria is awesome! She was really great with my dogs and very understanding of the incessant barking. My old girl fell in love with her immediately and my ACD who is shy around strangers and especially women warmed up really quickly. Highly recommend!”
20. Joanne C.
“Joann did an excellent job taking care of Sadie on her drop-in. We noticed that she even cleaned her food dish. There was no evidence of Sadie accidents. Joann kept in contact with us regularly. She was genuinely kind and caring with Sadie. We highly recommend her.”
