“Elias took fantastic care of my tricky kitty, including administering meds in food and dealing with frozen wet food (Smalls) which is trickier than scooping dry food or opening a can. They were very responsive communication-wise and enthusiastic. I will definitely turn to them again for kitty care when I next leave town.”

About: I’ve been caring for animals since grade school and truly can’t remember a time without pets in my life. I grew up with two dogs, Bailey and Shakespeare, a cat named Tooka, and a rotating cast of birds, fish, hermit crabs, and other small chaos-makers. I’m very comfortable with all kinds of pets, personalities, and quirks. 😊 For over a decade, I’ve been my sister’s go-to pet sitter, and more recently I spent three years in Southern Vermont house and pet sitting, caring for homes and animals of all shapes, sizes, and energy levels. As a seasoned thru hiker and outdoor enthusiast, I love taking pups for long walks and soaking up the sun. I’m quick to respond, reliable, and responsible. I also genuinely love hanging out with animals and making sure they feel safe, relaxed, and a bit spoiled while you’re away. I recently returned home from New Zealand, where I spent four months thru-hiking the length of the country. I’m now back in the suburbs of Philadelphia working as a substitute teacher. I’m an early riser and usually wrap up with work around 2:30pm. That schedule gives me plenty of flexibility for pet care. I’m available for morning feedings and walks, afternoon check-ins after school, and evening visits as needed. I’m happy to work around your pet’s normal routine to keep things consistent, calm, and comfortable while you’re away. Please share your pet’s routine, preferences, and any specific care instructions. I’m happy to follow them closely. I’m flexible and committed to caring for your pets in a way that matches how you would care for them, so they feel safe, comfortable, and at ease while you’re away.
“Ayden was a fantastic house sitter. He took incredible care of our numerous animals, and even noticed that our pellet stove had malfunctioned and let us know! We highly recommend him.”

“I recently had the pleasure of entrusting my beloved cat, Samson, to Louise, a pet sitter I found through Rover. I couldn't have been happier with the exceptional care and attention she provided to my furry friend. From the very first meeting, it was clear that Louise was a true animal lover. She took the time to get to know Samson, learning all about his personality, habits, and preferences. Throughout my trip, she sent me regular updates and photos, which put my mind at ease and allowed me to enjoy my time away. What really stood out to me about Louise was her flexibility and willingness to go above and beyond to ensure that Samson was happy and well-cared-for. When I unexpectedly had to extend my trip by two weeks, she was able to accommodate the change in plans without any hesitation. Overall, I would highly recommend Louise to anyone in need of a pet sitter. She is kind, trustworthy, and genuinely cares about the well-being of animals. I will certainly be seeking her services again in the future, and I encourage others to do the same. Thank you, Louise, for everything you did for Samson - we are both so grateful!”

About: I have over 10 years of pet care experience including walks, overnight stays, and short visits. I also grew up with dogs and have lived with a few different cats in my adult life. I am new to the Rover app but am happy to provide references upon request. I work Monday-Friday 11-5 in Brattleboro. I can do overnights any day of the week, but just know that on these days I will be away for 6-7 hours depending on distance from your house. I love taking dogs on long walks and can do so 2-3 times a day. I am super communicative and experienced at house sitting while pet sitting. I am very respectful of people's homes and pets' routines. I will make sure to keep your house as clean - and your pet as happy - as you left them.
“Sarah stop by the house a week before the booked day to get to know my dog and the routine. She is very pleasant. I booked her for two visits. Upon arriving home my 8 month puppy was very content. Everything went as planned. I will certainly use her again the next time I am away. I would recommend her services.”
