2. Margaret K.
“It is my pleasure to let you know about Margaret's love for animals. She has cared for and nutured my pets over the years. Minnie , my current dog is sweet and also very active. It is assuring to know that my pet caregiver has the energy to keep up with her. Margaret is also very intuitive. My pup is not very verbal when it comes to her needs. Minnie speaks with her eyes. Margaret has learned what each expression means. I have watched her with her pets and other along the way. I can say she is a kindred spirit.”
3. Megan P.
“Megan did a great job feeding my 2 cats while I was on vacation. They were on a twice a day schedule and she made sure to feed them in yhe mornign and night. She also stayed a while to give them affection and attention. When I got home everything was locked up tight, and everything was just as it was when I left.”

She will routinely send pictures giving updates and is very meticulous in making sure all of our rules and side notes were followed to the letter! She has made her love of animals very clear and she always leaves everything exactly as it was with no mess. Would highly recommend!!”

About: I have several years of experience dog/pet sitting including overnight stays. I enjoy taking dogs on daily walks, and playing catch or tug of war to help them get in their daily exercise. Some dog breeds I have long-term care experience with (one-week to month-long pet sitting) include labs, golden retrievers, formosan mountain dogs, and bullmastiff. Although I love all the furry friends! I am also experienced in caring for multiple pets—the most being two dogs, two cats, and one stray, for two separate month-long sits. I am comfortable walking multiple dogs at a time. I also have experience feeding dogs and cats oral medications. I am happy to do house calls for walks and feeding, as well as overnight stays. During overnight stays I make sure the house stays clean and tidy, and that the pets follow their house rules! My schedule is very flexible, and I have a lot of daytime availability for walks and potty breaks. I work as a server/bartender, so am generally scheduled weekend evenings. My shifts last about 6 hours, so for house sitting/overnights, 6-7 hours would be the maximum amount of time the pups would be on their own. If sitting is scheduled with enough advance I can also get this down to only 5-6 hours. I currently cannot offer pet service in my own house. In a client’s home I always make sure I understand what the house rules are for the pets, as well as for guests! I am happy to meet clients in a public setting first if they feel more comfortable with that before inviting me to their home. I understand how important people’s homes and pets are to them, and do everything I can to communicate with reliability and respect. I love taking care of animals, and want both you and your pets to have a great experience with me.
6. Shelley S.
“Shelley is really good with my active, strong, very enthusiastic chocolate lab mix, taking him for hour-long runs off leash. She is responsible, kind, thoughtful; I appreciate her experience with dogs and training, Skeeter took to her right away. I also appreciate her flexibility, meeting up for the first time away from the house where my dog can be overly protective. Now they are good pals!”
7. Matthew S.
“Matt has been reliable and very easy to communicate with since starting weekday walks (daily) with Maisy in early September ‘21. He usually sends a photo (or 2), and has solicited and been open to feedback and input around routines and maintaining training (using command words we use). Maisy is a “Boxador,” and it was important to me that the walker not be intimidated or uncertain about being in charge of our physically strong pet. I definitely recommend Matt!”
8. Mike & Laura O.
“Mike is a gifted and confident animal whisperer, a trustworthy person, cool under pressure, and an all around responsible guy. His longtime pooch, Reno, was the envy of the neighborhood--beloved as he was well-behaved--a real emblem of Mike's training and good care. I would put literally any creature into his custody.”
9. Hannah H.
“She is a wonderful dog walker. Always very sweet and informative.”
10. Aley M.
“Aley is great! Would definitely work with her again.”
11. Deb L.
About: As a dog lover, I've had labs and a mini dachshund, from puppies to 15 years old. I grew up with cats and currently have a beautiful Bengal cat. I'm known as the "dog whisperer", because even dogs who normally don't like people respond well to me. I've done obedience and clicker training with my dogs, and am well-versed in handling larger dogs. I absolutely love the outdoors, especially with a four-legged friend- Doggyville easy walking is right up my alley! I'm currently working full-time but close to home and have a flexible schedule. I'll be retiring soon and will have even more time for my furry friends! It's important to me to provide personalized service dependent upon the needs of the fur-baby. I'll work with each family to design an individulaized program that will best meet the needs of your pets.
12. Molley T.
“Molly was great. Our dog loved walking with her and was super happy. She is also prompt, professional and easy to schedule. We highly recommend her!”
13. Ambria M.
“Ambria has been a lovely sitter when we need her. We even have her walk our dogs regularly which has done wonders for us and our pets. She’s a very low stress sitter, that can handle any variety of animal. It’s very obvious when you meet her that she loves animals. We have found her to be very respectful, responsive, and polite. A true asset for those of us that have busy schedules. We never have to worry, or be concerned when we book Ambria. Highly recommend her professional sitting/walking services.”
14. Brandy V.
“Brandy is now my Rover person of choice. She was early to pick up Sophie; gave her a fun yet rigorous workout. And, when she came back, Brandy ensured her paws were clean so she didn't track mud into the house. Sophie adores her as do we. She's the best.”
15. Emily P.
“Emily is a wonderful dog sitter. She has taken care of my dog and cat and stayed in our home for several years now. I know I can count on her to be a loving and caring animal sitter. She always leaves our home the way she found it. She takes care of our salt water fish as well. As long as she is available I would not ask anyone else to stay in our home. Our dog Ray adores her.”

About: I have always loved animals as early as I can remember and I never been without a pet in my entire life. I started pet sitting when I was about eight years old. My first "job". I knew I wanted to be in the animal field as a child and so I became a veterinary technician and spent over a decade working in vet clinics (with dogs, cats, birds, and exotics). I've worked in grooming and boarding facilities and of course with pet sitting for decades now. I am skilled with scared pets, senior, and special-needs pets. Having been an animal nurse, I have a total soft spot for these special loves. I am comfortable administering medication - via SC or IM injections, SC fluids, oral, etc. I can do emergency care such as administering enemas for seizures or any needed first aid. If there is an emergency situation, there is an animal hospital in Newfane just a couple miles away. I understand the scariness of a "stranger's" care, but I will respect your relationship and follow your directions to a tee. I know that routine is a huge part of our pets' lives, and obviously you know your pet the best. I insist we do a free "meet and greet" to make sure we are both a fit with each other. I am also very comfortable with any pets, not just dogs and cats. In my vet tech career, I especially enjoyed working with snakes, iguanas, ferrets, and large birds. I would love to learn more about exotic animal husbandry and am not afraid to try. I would also enjoy taking care of farm animals. Some of my best childhood memories were taking care of the cows at my great uncle's dairy farm in Maine. I have availability every day. I currently work part-time in a local library a couple days a week, but I work only four-hour shifts, so I am still available every day. I am flexible and easy-going. I am also available all holidays.
17. Aubrey B.
“Aubrey periodically looks after my four-legged family members while I'm away for work. She's responsible, sweet and caring. I know things will be taken care of while they're in her hands!”
18. Carol O.
“I highly recommend Carol to care for dogs, children, any animal actually! I know she is my sister but I do know her the best. We are both dog lovers. She cared for my dogs and kids when I travelled and I didn't worry for a minute. I've also spent a lot of time with her and her own dogs over the years. Dogs just love her. She is playful, kind and firm, and very responsible. She's the best!”

About: Hi! I moved to Brattleboro in 2019 to study circus arts full time at the New England Center for Circus Arts as an aerialist. I grew up raising Moose and Molly, our awesome black labs. We got Moose as a puppy, and Molly as a rescue. We also have two cats: Millie and Max (standing for Maximum Cat... he's huge). Both were rescues as well. After Molly passed away last year, we got Cowboy, who was a long time shelter dog all over the country because he was “too intimidating” and labeled as “unadoptable.” He was scheduled to be euthanized but we took him in and he is a big softy now. He just needed a loving home, and he and Moose are best buds. I've been caring for them, as well as other dogs, cats, fish, birds, iguanas, ferrets, etc. for about fifteen years, on and off. I also have been volunteering at the Humane Society in my hometown in Michigan for two years. I absolutely LOVE animals, and am always so bummed that I can't have any of my own, due to housing rules, so thanks for letting me love on yours instead! :) I will happily hang with your pet at their home, where they are comfy, as well as play/run/walk them, and take them wherever you wish (parks, vet, etc.). I have a dog and cat friendly vehicle, and am happy to take your pet on more elaborate field trips if you wish. I am a professional dancer and circus artist, studying at the New England Center for Circus Arts. This means I'm usually in class from about 8am-4pm on week days, but am available for a lunch visit 12-1pm. I am free as a bird on weekends! I do not offer boarding due to no-pet rules at my home, so only visits and house sitting. But I will happily love on your pup at their home!
