1. Amber R.
“Amber is a very responsible dependable pet loving person. She cared for my dog while I was away on vacation for over a week. My dog was still a puppy and was still learning. She was very patient and compassionate with him. I could enjoy my time away knowing he was being well cared for and loved. She has a two dogs of her own that she has trained and gone through training classes with, from that she has gained knowledge and understanding of how to work with different behaviors and has coached me on different techniques. I would recommend her to anyone!”
2. Shelley S.
“Shelley is really good with my active, strong, very enthusiastic chocolate lab mix, taking him for hour-long runs off leash. She is responsible, kind, thoughtful; I appreciate her experience with dogs and training, Skeeter took to her right away. I also appreciate her flexibility, meeting up for the first time away from the house where my dog can be overly protective. Now they are good pals!”

4. Hannah H.
“She is a wonderful dog walker. Always very sweet and informative.”
5. Caitlin W.
“Friendly and professional, good with dogs. Great communication.”
6. Matthew S.
“Matt has been reliable and very easy to communicate with since starting weekday walks (daily) with Maisy in early September ‘21. He usually sends a photo (or 2), and has solicited and been open to feedback and input around routines and maintaining training (using command words we use). Maisy is a “Boxador,” and it was important to me that the walker not be intimidated or uncertain about being in charge of our physically strong pet. I definitely recommend Matt!”
7. Mike & Laura O.
“Mike is a gifted and confident animal whisperer, a trustworthy person, cool under pressure, and an all around responsible guy. His longtime pooch, Reno, was the envy of the neighborhood--beloved as he was well-behaved--a real emblem of Mike's training and good care. I would put literally any creature into his custody.”
8. Megan P.
“Megan did a great job feeding my 2 cats while I was on vacation. They were on a twice a day schedule and she made sure to feed them in yhe mornign and night. She also stayed a while to give them affection and attention. When I got home everything was locked up tight, and everything was just as it was when I left.”

About: I have always loved animals as early as I can remember and I never been without a pet in my entire life. I started pet sitting when I was about eight years old. My first "job". I knew I wanted to be in the animal field as a child and so I became a veterinary technician and spent over a decade working in vet clinics (with dogs, cats, birds, and exotics). I've worked in grooming and boarding facilities and of course with pet sitting for decades now. I am skilled with scared pets, senior, and special-needs pets. Having been an animal nurse, I have a total soft spot for these special loves. I am comfortable administering medication - via SC or IM injections, SC fluids, oral, etc. I can do emergency care such as administering enemas for seizures or any needed first aid. If there is an emergency situation, there is an animal hospital in Newfane just a couple miles away. I understand the scariness of a "stranger's" care, but I will respect your relationship and follow your directions to a tee. I know that routine is a huge part of our pets' lives, and obviously you know your pet the best. I insist we do a free "meet and greet" to make sure we are both a fit with each other. I am also very comfortable with any pets, not just dogs and cats. In my vet tech career, I especially enjoyed working with snakes, iguanas, ferrets, and large birds. I would love to learn more about exotic animal husbandry and am not afraid to try. I would also enjoy taking care of farm animals. Some of my best childhood memories were taking care of the cows at my great uncle's dairy farm in Maine. I have availability every day. I currently work part-time in a local library a couple days a week, but I work only four-hour shifts, so I am still available every day. I am flexible and easy-going. I am also available all holidays.

About: I’ve sat my family’s and friends’ pets for years and also take care of my own. I’ve dealt with reactive dogs, nervous dogs, hyper dogs, as well as many different personalities of cats. I’m comfortable with small pets as well. I’m currently working full-time at a vet clinic but have early morning, evening, and weekend availability. I prioritize the care of furry friends over anything else and strive to keep them active and happy. I’m comfortable with caring for all personalities; from reactive dogs to silly hyperactive dogs, as well as feisty kitties. I currently work as a Vet Assistant and previously worked as a daycare attendant, so I am familiar with appropriate discipline.
13. Emily P.
“Emily and I met years ago while she was exploring the veterinary field. Her interest and drive to learn is what first encouraged me to reach out to her about general travel care with my love, Kingston (half corgi/half lab). Emily has been a god sent not only when caring for him (sending me pictures and other updates) but when I bring him with me (when available she always has advice or suggestions that help). She's honest, knowledgeable, accomodating and compassionate when she cares for animals and to this day is one of two people I trust to leave Kingston with for any period of time. She is occasionally able to come and stay with him when I travel and when she hasn't had that availability she has been willing to take him home with her. I trust Emily with the love of my life and would not be able to travel as much as I have or enjoy long trips without knowing Kingston is in such great hands. We love you Emily <3”
14. Jillian C.
“Jillian is amazing with animals! She is very in tune, and attentive to their needs. She is a great person, and truly loves all animals.”
15. Brandy V.
“Brandy is now my Rover person of choice. She was early to pick up Sophie; gave her a fun yet rigorous workout. And, when she came back, Brandy ensured her paws were clean so she didn't track mud into the house. Sophie adores her as do we. She's the best.”
16. Deb L.
About: As a dog lover, I've had labs and a mini dachshund, from puppies to 15 years old. I grew up with cats and currently have a beautiful Bengal cat. I'm known as the "dog whisperer", because even dogs who normally don't like people respond well to me. I've done obedience and clicker training with my dogs, and am well-versed in handling larger dogs. I absolutely love the outdoors, especially with a four-legged friend- Doggyville easy walking is right up my alley! I'm currently working full-time but close to home and have a flexible schedule. I'll be retiring soon and will have even more time for my furry friends! It's important to me to provide personalized service dependent upon the needs of the fur-baby. I'll work with each family to design an individulaized program that will best meet the needs of your pets.
17. Grace M.
“Grace has watched our dogs many times over the years. She always goes above and beyond, giving each of them so much love and attention, taking them on long hikes every day, and sending plenty of updates. I highly recommend leaving your pups at Grace’s farm; she’ll give them the best vacation ever!”
18. Ambria M.
“I highly recommend Ms.Ambria. The happiness kindness, professionalism, and genuine love for all animals she encounters SHINES BRIGHT!😁This is who you want hanging with you’re furry friends.”
19. Michelle M.
About: Hi! I moved to Brattleboro in 2019 to study circus arts full time at the New England Center for Circus Arts as an aerialist. I grew up raising Moose and Molly, our awesome black labs. We got Moose as a puppy, and Molly as a rescue. We also have two cats: Millie and Max (standing for Maximum Cat... he's huge). Both were rescues as well. After Molly passed away last year, we got Cowboy, who was a long time shelter dog all over the country because he was “too intimidating” and labeled as “unadoptable.” He was scheduled to be euthanized but we took him in and he is a big softy now. He just needed a loving home, and he and Moose are best buds. I've been caring for them, as well as other dogs, cats, fish, birds, iguanas, ferrets, etc. for about fifteen years, on and off. I also have been volunteering at the Humane Society in my hometown in Michigan for two years. I absolutely LOVE animals, and am always so bummed that I can't have any of my own, due to housing rules, so thanks for letting me love on yours instead! :) I will happily hang with your pet at their home, where they are comfy, as well as play/run/walk them, and take them wherever you wish (parks, vet, etc.). I have a dog and cat friendly vehicle, and am happy to take your pet on more elaborate field trips if you wish. I am a professional dancer and circus artist, studying at the New England Center for Circus Arts. This means I'm usually in class from about 8am-4pm on week days, but am available for a lunch visit 12-1pm. I am free as a bird on weekends! I do not offer boarding due to no-pet rules at my home, so only visits and house sitting. But I will happily love on your pup at their home!
20. Carol O.
“I highly recommend Carol to care for dogs, children, any animal actually! I know she is my sister but I do know her the best. We are both dog lovers. She cared for my dogs and kids when I travelled and I didn't worry for a minute. I've also spent a lot of time with her and her own dogs over the years. Dogs just love her. She is playful, kind and firm, and very responsible. She's the best!”
