“Our Family had a fairly long trip and did not want to put our dogs in a different location. Looking on Rover we found Phillip who responded right away. Our trip was through Thanksgiving and that was not a problem for him. He came over to meet our two dogs and they took to him right away. Received updates from him even though for us maybe a little more communication would have been nice but the over-all experience was really good. When we returned back from our trip and he dropped off our house key the dogs were so very excited to see him. Normally when we are gone and come back our dogs tend to not be themselves for a while. About: I have grown up with dogs and other animals. They have always been apart of my life. I had 10 dogs at once for about 4 years. I am very patient and understanding. Good with any puke, poop and pee, it doesn’t bother me. Love dogs and will do any special things that need done. I am currently an Eastern Student and have class from 9-12 and work part time at safeway from about 1-7 as of right now. I am planning on doing online class starting in January and planning on working like 8am-2pm at Safeway starting in December. So I will be more flexible in the coming months. Can do early morning and late nights if needed I will keep things clean and tidy while in others home. Will take dog on leash if not fenced in. Will make sure dog has food and water if they aren’t schedule fed.
About: Animals and animal care has always been my passion, I’m currently working towards getting my bachelors degree in animal science and zoology! I’ve taken care of all kinds of animals and I’ve done a lot of rescue and rehoming! I love animals, from cats to fish, lizards and birds. I’m crazy about all of them. I’ve cared for babies and elderly of a lot of different species and I pride myself in always doing my best in taking care of all their needs. Ive got quite a few of my own babies at the moment but they’re all very friendly and adjust easily to new animals. I don’t currently work because I’m working towards getting my bachelors degree in animal science/zoology, so I’m home 24/7 to care for my own pets and school, I have two crate trained dogs, five cats, two frogs, two birds, fish, and a hamster, so I’m basically always cleaning and playing or training one or the other! While I live in an apartment, we have multiple fenced dog parks and ample walking area away from the roads for walkies with the dogs, my apartment is pretty spacious especially in the living room and animals are allowed around the whole apartment. If I were to watch your babies at your residence I would stick strictly to the rules you set for me and never overstep your boundaries or rules.
“Alexandra has proved herself to be a great cat-sitter. She followed our cat care instructions very well. She spent time with them in the evening/night when they get the most lonely(they sleep most of the day), gave them wet food on schedule, checked their water fountains, dry food dispensers and litter robot to make sure they were in order, and cleaned up after Boo when he puked. When we came home, the cats seemed emotionally very well and cared for. I could tell she had spent the right amount of time with them and given them enough attention, because they were not upset, stressed or angry at me for leaving them as they would be if they had not been attended to sufficiently. Alexandra was also very kind to our apartment while she was over, leaving it very clean. Best of all, she was easy to communicate with while we were away. I definitely recommend her as a pet sitter!”
