About: We've been taking care of dogs all our lives, they are family! We whelped 2 litters of puppies from my sweet golden retriever Daisy. We love playing and cuddling with dogs and long walks on our property! Let your dog get a vacation/retreat from city life and enjoy the fresh air on the mountain here! Someone is pretty much here all the time so your dogs get LOTS of attention & walks. If your dog would be more comfortable you can bring along something that smells like home. Also their leash, food, snacks are optional and anything else they prefer. **We prefer to board dogs more than one night, that way there is less traffic on our road.** **Once you drive to the top of the mountain by our homes, please drive super slow to avoid dusting out the neighbors and them being happy, so we can keep boarding dogs! 🐕 thank you SO much!** We are home full time so we are here to give your pets the full attention they need! We are excited to have your pet experience life on the mountain with fresh air and long walks! I have a fenced yard, a friendly golden retriever who loves having friends over, and country trails to take the dogs on long walks. Trust us to take care of your pets and allow them to have a retreat away from home.

“Our Family had a fairly long trip and did not want to put our dogs in a different location. Looking on Rover we found Phillip who responded right away. Our trip was through Thanksgiving and that was not a problem for him. He came over to meet our two dogs and they took to him right away. Received updates from him even though for us maybe a little more communication would have been nice but the over-all experience was really good. When we returned back from our trip and he dropped off our house key the dogs were so very excited to see him. Normally when we are gone and come back our dogs tend to not be themselves for a while. We had a long initial phone consultation to make sure Lori understood our 15 m/o German Shepherd pup has recently regressed with naughty puppy behavior, and wanted to make sure she was up for the challenge. We had an in-home meet and greet which proved that both Lori and our pup instantly got along. We were thankful to be able to get away and feel our pup was in good hands. Lori was up for the challenge and worked hard to indentify our pups’ inconsistencies and how to get along with her. We will use her again in the future for sure!!”

About: Animals and animal care has always been my passion, I’m currently working towards getting my bachelors degree in animal science and zoology! I’ve taken care of all kinds of animals and I’ve done a lot of rescue and rehoming! I love animals, from cats to fish, lizards and birds. I’m crazy about all of them. I’ve cared for babies and elderly of a lot of different species and I pride myself in always doing my best in taking care of all their needs. Ive got quite a few of my own babies at the moment but they’re all very friendly and adjust easily to new animals. I don’t currently work because I’m working towards getting my bachelors degree in animal science/zoology, so I’m home 24/7 to care for my own pets and school, I have two crate trained dogs, five cats, two frogs, two birds, fish, and a hamster, so I’m basically always cleaning and playing or training one or the other! While I live in an apartment, we have multiple fenced dog parks and ample walking area away from the roads for walkies with the dogs, my apartment is pretty spacious especially in the living room and animals are allowed around the whole apartment. If I were to watch your babies at your residence I would stick strictly to the rules you set for me and never overstep your boundaries or rules.

“Wini is a terrific dog and house sitter. I’m not certain, but I don’t think she ever left our house while she was sitting for us. Which is great; our two shepherds were seldom (if ever) alone. She gave us plenty of feedback during her stay, and it was clear she enjoyed our dogs. It was also clear from her updates and photos that our dogs didn’t deviate one bit from their normal routine. This is *SO* much better than kenneling them. There are some great kennel operations around Spokane, but nothing comes close to this. When we returned, I’m not sure our dogs even missed us (kinda sad about that part!). Our house was left in immaculate condition. Wini gets our highest commendation, and we will be inviting her back.”

About: My partner and I have taken care of dogs for many years. We have experience in training stubborn puppies. We know they are still learning manners and house etiquette, and have the patience to love them anyways. All dogs from birth are called itty bitty little babies and will be loved unconditionally. No pup will be left without mandatory hugs and kisses. Since we have 2 Labradors of our own, we know that it’s important to keep them active. We have long walks every day, and we live within a mile of multiple parks where we can take them. We offer many toys and treats for quiet times, and we have minimum of 30 minute training sessions at least once a day. We believe in taking them outside many, many times a day. And nothing is better than outside play time.
