“Our Family had a fairly long trip and did not want to put our dogs in a different location. Looking on Rover we found Phillip who responded right away. Our trip was through Thanksgiving and that was not a problem for him. He came over to meet our two dogs and they took to him right away. Received updates from him even though for us maybe a little more communication would have been nice but the over-all experience was really good. When we returned back from our trip and he dropped off our house key the dogs were so very excited to see him. Normally when we are gone and come back our dogs tend to not be themselves for a while. About: I’ve watched all kinds of dogs from puppies to the oldest of fellas. Some have had strict diets and medications that needed to be taken at specific times. I always make sure to give dogs plenty of exercise especially if they are crate trained, just get them tuckered out before needing to be put away for the night. House rules are always respected as well, your house is just as important as your dog! I am a full time student at SOU as well as an athlete so I will need to work around my class and practice schedule however, I scheduled classes to give me a little morning time and have evenings free! Periodic check-ins Monday-Thursday work best, staying full time at ones house works best Friday-Monday morning. While I can’t take in pets as I live in the dorms at SOU, I can carve out time to come meet the client and pets before the trip if that would give a sense of comfort, learn about the home and such. I am comfortable giving oral medicines to stubborn dogs, I have one myself! I have worked in houses that have cameras and/or pet cameras in and out of the house so I am comfortable with that too!

About: I have grown up with dogs and other animals. They have always been apart of my life. I had 10 dogs at once for about 4 years. I am very patient and understanding. Good with any puke, poop and pee, it doesn’t bother me. Love dogs and will do any special things that need done. I am currently an Eastern Student and have class from 9-12 and work part time at safeway from about 1-7 as of right now. I am planning on doing online class starting in January and planning on working like 8am-2pm at Safeway starting in December. So I will be more flexible in the coming months. Can do early morning and late nights if needed I will keep things clean and tidy while in others home. Will take dog on leash if not fenced in. Will make sure dog has food and water if they aren’t schedule fed.

About: I won't just treat them as a "pet" I treat all animals as family. I have taken care of various dog and cats from family members and friends since I was a child. This included staying over, walking, feeding, training and playing. At the moment I am pursuing schooling for dog training so I have open availability for walks and drop ins! I usually ask for a days notice but it never hurts to ask. I have had experience with larger dogs (German shepherds, Great Pyerenese, Pitbulls and Saint Bernards) as well as small dogs (Chihuahua's, Shih Tzu and Dachshunds). I also provide baths and nail trimming when asked. I enjoy running too so if your looking to get your dog in shape! For pets coming to my house they must be crate trained (for when I sleep) and friendly with other dogs.

About: Animals and animal care has always been my passion, I’m currently working towards getting my bachelors degree in animal science and zoology! While I live in an apartment, we have multiple fenced dog parks and ample walking area away from the roads for walkies with the dogs, my apartment is pretty spacious especially in the living room and animals are allowed around the whole apartment. If I were to watch your babies at your residence I would stick strictly to the rules you set for me and never overstep your boundaries or rules.
