“Laurie did a fantastic job taking care of my dog, Jack Sparrow, while I was out of town. She provided me with frequent updates on how my little guy was doing and took excellent care of my home. I wouldn't hesitate to request her again and would give her the highest recommendation to any of my friends and family!”

“Leslie stayed and watched our 3 pups for a week while on vacation. Cannot say enough great things! I received daily updates and pictures with all my babies looking so happy and well taken care of. Will be using Leslie for all my pet needs! 🐶”

“Haven is by far the best dog sitter I’ve ever had- I can’t recommend her enough. She is always so communicative and helpful while I’m gone and has even helped with a leak I had while away. She sends lots of pictures/videos and goes above and beyond with care instructions! She even leaves me food and sweet notes to come home to. Thankful for her!”

“Adam was great! He was attentive and took great care of our dog. He followed our instructions for medication and walks. So happy we found someone we can trust with our baby. He communicated and updated us the whole time we were gone. We could tell my dog loved him and warmed up to him really fast. 10/10 Would recommend Adam.”

“Noah is a great choice when it comes to a pet and house sitter. He is very responsive and sends daily photos. Noah even washed the bedding and towels he used and made the bed up! We have a geriatric kitty with kidney disease and we recently went out of town for the first time since my sweet baby has been sick. We normally use a family friend to house sit and pet sit for us. I was very worried and nervous to go out of town and leave are pets in the care of someone new. Noah made me feel reassured and my skiddish recue kitty warmed up to him right away. Highly recommend Noah for your cat and dog pet sitting needs.”

“Rachel did a great job home sitting and pet sitting while away for a week long family reunion. She is very trustworthy and went above and beyond staying in touch and taking care of the property. She will definitely be our first choice for our next trip away from home if she is available.”

“Amber was excellent as my dog sitter. She dog sat and took great care of my dogs. I have a very anxious dog and Amber’s energy put my dog at ease right away! She also took good care of the house, washed the guest room bed sheets, etc. Her communication was top notch! Highly recommend her for overnight sits!”

“Many thanks to Paula. She took great care of our pets. Our dog had his walks, and our reclusive cat came out to be petted. The house looked great also. We would happily recommend her to care for your fur babies and your home. Thank you so much!”

About: I have been pet sitting and housesitting for over 8 years but am just now hopping on rover! I love pets deeply and aim to make them comfortable while you are away. I have experience training hyperactive dogs, potting training, some trick training, taking care of dogs of all sizes, ages 8 weeks-14 years, indoor and outdoor cats, as well as chickens, bunnies, fish, and more! I am excited to get to know you and your pets!! I am currently gaining my teacher's certification and have very open availability this summer. I do already have some weeks filled up petsitting this summer but please message me to fit you in! I do not board pets at my home, only visit and stay at clients houses. I use reliable transportation and can stop by multiple times a day or stay with your pets overnight. I am comfortable following strict feeding schedules, giving dogs medication, and of course playing with them!! My goal is always to keep pets comfortable in a stressful time of their owners leaving. Though I am new on Rover, I have a list of references available from clients who have used me for years.
“We are completely happy with Bertha our pups like her she sent videos and pictures this was the first time we left them with someone other than family they were not stressed out and she left our home as clean as we left it, we definitely recommend her and we will absolutely use her again. Thanks again Bertha.”

“I have never been able to leave the house with such peace of mind as Nita gave to us. We gave Nita a complicated housesitting situation - multiple animals, multiple species, an extended length of time - and she excelled. She kept us updated with photos and information, she took careful care of our house, and she was a joy to interact with. Our animals were spoiled and so happy that they miss her now! Highly recommend her services.”

“I am so happy to have found Renee. I am traveling more than in the past, and I have complete peace of mind that my fur babies are being well taken care of. Renee is very responsive, sends me updates, and my dogs are excited to see her and her mom. Highly recommend.”

About: I’ve taken care of different kinds of animals from turtles to pit bulls with 11 puppies, as well as old dogs with fears or diseases who need special medicine. I am currently working part time and I’m still in school. I would be available 1-5 on weekdays and whatever times we can work out on weekends I do live in an apartment so my services would either have to be dog walking or house sitting at the clients house. I care for animals like I would care for a child: making sure they are fed, cleaned, comfortable, and frequent bathroom breaks.

Lauren cared for my four pets while I was away on a trip. Not only did I come back to a house that was even cleaner than how I left it, I came back to my four girls happy and healthy as could be. Lauren provided updates to give me peace of mind being so far away, and treated each of my pets as if they were her own. Your pets will be in amazing hands. One of my dogs is rather particular with people but warmed up to her almost immediately when they first met - to me that definitely says something!

Maya took good care of our puppy. Everyone knows caring for a puppy is work. One day he’ll be a dog and much less work! He was happy and tired when we returned home. He went looking for her after he got all the love and attention from us. All very good signs. Thank you!

Adam was great! He was attentive and took great care of our dog. He followed our instructions for medication and walks. So happy we found someone we can trust with our baby. He communicated and updated us the whole time we were gone. We could tell my dog loved him and warmed up to him really fast. 10/10 Would recommend Adam.

Jordan and her boyfriend are such great and caring people. We will miss them tremendously as we are moving and I know our animals will miss them too. ;( They outsmarted our escape artist kitty keeping her home, took our pup on walks, and provided both animals with tons of cuddles. ❤️
