About: I had a lot of cats and dogs growing up, and I was the neighborhood dog sitter basically from the time I could ride a bike until I left for college. I know for many people today their pets are a furry part of the family, so I would treat them with the same love and care I give my cats and dobies, and make sure your animals are genuinely cared for while you are away. I know what it means to be a good and responsible sitter, and I can guarantee if you trust me with your pets you will not regret it! I'm offering drop-in sitting and dog walking, and I cannot wait to have the opportunity to meet your pets. I work full time, but am available outside of standard working hours to spend plenty of time with your pups! I have pets of my own so I know how important it is to spend time with them & make sure they are happy while you are away. When caring for pets, I always make sure to guarantee they have a comfortable and clean environment as well as plenty of play time (for their benefit & because I just love dogs!)

Reactive dogs are in good hands, and no challenge for me. Backyard play, hiking, and other forms of exercise are all within my wheelhouse. I can walk dogs on/off leash at request depending on local rules. My credentials include over a decade of professional care experience for humans & animals of all ages/abilities. I am in the process of acquiring a certification in R+ behavioral training for canines - this is a completely positive reinforcement based program! I strive to work on communication as a solid base for training. Whether you need a drop in during a long work day, or a week away with the family, I will happily keep your pets cozy until you return. My schedule is completely adaptable to your pet’s needs and routine. This is my sole profession, and my goal is to create zero disturbance in the way your pet usually does things. While I cannot board pets in my own home, I embrace any and all safety measures instructed, as well as anticipate any safety issues and resolve them before an incident can occur.

About: I have been caring for dogs for as long as I can remember. Growing up, my family had 13 dogs, so caring for them and being surrounded by animals was a significant part of my childhood. As I grew older, so did they, and unfortunately, most have since passed away. After moving to New Mexico three years ago, I quickly realized how much I missed having my furry companions around. That inspired me to begin providing pet care services through Rover. Since then, I have had the opportunity to care for many different breeds, personalities, and ages from small and large dogs to puppies and seniors. Becoming a pet sitter has truly been one of the most rewarding decisions I have made. A few months ago, I also began co-parenting a Miniature Schnauzer and. Shih Tzu with my sister, which has reminded me just how much I enjoy spending time with dogs, caring for them, and keeping them happy and entertained. I’m mainly a homebody, which allows me to spend plenty of quality time with the pets in my care. I’m currently a graduate student and attend school Monday through Thursday, but I’m typically only away for about 1–3 hours on those days. When pet sitting, I spend 16+ hours a day at the owner’s home, so your pets will have plenty of companionship, attention, and care throughout the day. I also work a part-time job on Friday and Saturday nights, when I’m typically away for approximately 8 hours. Outside of those hours, I’m home and able to dedicate my time to keeping your pets comfortable, entertained, and as close to their normal routine as possible. I am a dependable, trustworthy, and attentive pet sitter who understands how important it is for pets to feel safe and comfortable while their owners are away. About: I’ve taken care of a variety of dogs and cats since I was 8. Neighbors, friends, and coworkers have relied on me to walk, feed, bathe and entertain their pets. I currently work full time but am available 24/7 on the weekends. During the week, I can walk/feed/play morning and evening around my work schedule. When I moved to Utah, by myself, in January 2023, I got lonely and craved animal connection, so I began with Rover. It has been such a great thing in my life. I hope to continue my services in New Mexico. I now have 2 pups of my own, but my partner cares for them when I am sitting. I will never bring them to a sit unless prior meeting and permission of the owners. Bloopers and Scub are young, big, lover boys with a lot of energy. They LOVE other dogs. Sophie, my senior pup, had to be put down before I moved to Utah. I cared for her heart and kidney failure for 3 years. I am experienced with senior pups and can handle all the way down to puppies, too. I love cats. I am also a trained bird handler. I have pet sit for my professors and coworkers before, from hunting lab puppies to senior Maltese. Since moving to Utah at the beginning of the year, I have house sat, done drop-ins, and walks. About: I have past experience in administering medicine including insulin and pills, as well as cleaning litter boxes, picking up dog poop, and feeding bearded dragons. I'm a college student working at a restaurant, but I am available throughout the day between school and work, and at nights. Overall pet sitting fits into my schedule just as well as any average person. I have a cat in my home who is vaccinated and well cared for, so if a pet is coming to my home it must be OK around cats, my cat is also used to dogs and other animals, although I would prefer to watch animals at their house. I care for them by feeding them according to their schedule, always providing fresh water, and taking them on any necessary walks, or runs, and of course cleaning up the poop or puke that occurs.

About: A little about me: I’ve had a dog by my side every day since I was six years old — dogs are an integral part of my life, not just something I do on the side. Over the years I’ve cared for dogs of every size, age, and temperament, from tiny lap dogs to a 90-pound Labrador, and from bouncy puppies to dogs in their older years. Experience: My deepest experience is with senior and special-needs dogs. My Labrador had a series of health challenges, including three separate leg surgeries. I nursed him through every recovery, which meant walking him with a support sling until he was back on his feet. When he was later diagnosed with cancer, I cared for him through hospice at home — giving his daily medications and keeping him comfortable and loved right to the end. So if your older dog needs medication, a little mobility help, or just extra patience and gentleness, that’s something I genuinely know how to do. I’m just as comfortable with high-energy dogs. That same Labrador was a handful in his younger years, so I know what it takes to keep a strong, active dog happy and well-exercised. I also love puppies and understand the patience and consistency they need. I’m happy to walk more than one dog at a time, and I have experience with leash-reactive dogs — I know how to keep walks calm, controlled, and low-stress for a dog who needs a little extra management. Right now I share my home with two girls — a 15-year-old Chihuahua mix and a 2-year-old Cairn Terrier — so both ends of the age spectrum are part of my daily routine. Before them I’ve cared for several terriers and a Border Collie mix, among others. I walk my own dogs every single day and I’ll keep yours on a good routine too. I keep all doors and gates closed and latched, and I'm constantly aware of where your dog is — especially any time I'm heading in or out, so there's no chance of an escape. I follow whatever house rules and routines you set. I also treat your home with the same respect I give my own. When I dog-sat for family and friends, I kept their house tidy, watered their plants, and brought in mail while they were away. I will leave your home just as you left it, keep you updated with photos while you're gone, and communicate quickly about anything that comes up. My goal is for you to come home to a happy, well-cared-for dog and a house in good order.
