“In all my years of using dog sitters, no one has come close to Peter in terms of the care and love my dog received from him. Peter sent the best pictures throughout the day, and I was jealous of how much fun they were having. , He really did treat Bug like his own dog. I think my dog almost likes him better than me.”

“Josie, her husband, and Paco took great care of my Pip while we were vacationing in ABQ. Having Pip go over to her house allowed us to get some hikes, bike rides, and brunches in without having to worry is our young, energetic dog was being destructive or bored at the Airbnb. Highly recommend, and will definitely request Josie again when we return.”

“Melinda was very interested in getting to know our dog. She asked a lot of questions about his behavior, his personality, his normal day, etc. She was very concerned about making our dog feel like he was as much at home as possible. Peso seemed very happy when we went to pick him up. We would definitively recommend Melinda for dog sitting. She was quick to respond to messages, and she sent us a picture of Peso. We would use Melinda again if we are visiting Albuquerque in the future.”

“Always amazing! Punnarai is caring and attentive. My pup is excited to be dropped off and (sadly for me) tentative to leave the fun environment she creates for him while he’s there. Definitely recommend.”

About: I have lived with at least 2 dogs in my household for the past 20 years. Providing them with the opportunities to live fulfilling and healthy lives has been my priority. Although I am their caregiver, I consider them also to be my teachers. Learning how to communicate with them is the best way to ensure they are happy and calm, and that they feel safe. I am currently retired and spend quite a bit of time at the dog park. My dog and I are mostly inseparable. I take him with me to run errands when I can. It isn't always practical and so he minds the house when I am away. Barney is my only companion, and, even though I'm kind of a loner, Barney is NOT. He is extremely friendly and social and craves the company of other dog;, that factors into my decision to care for other dogs in my home. Barney will help me keep your dog comfortable and happy while in our care. We have a fenced back yard (4 foot). The surrounding properties have no dogs at this time. If your dog can jump a 4 foot fence, this may not be the safest home for him or her.

About: I have taken care of pets of all types and sizes. Growing up I raised and cared for many different rodent species, such as: rabbits, chinchillas, and gerbils. I also have owned dogs that are aged from puppies to seniors and are every size from very small (15 lbs) to very large (50+ lbs). I am currently unemployed so I am available to help with pet care at all times during the week and on the weekends. I understand the importance of making time for the care of pets, no matter how little time you have. I think an important part of taking care of a pet in my home or another owner’s, is to make sure that a pet has a safe space where they feel comfortable and to respect that space. I also think that it’s important to follow whatever instructions an owner leaves for taking care of their pets, whether they are instructions I believe to be right or not.
About: I had a lot of cats and dogs growing up, and I was the neighborhood dog sitter basically from the time I could ride a bike until I left for college. I know for many people today their pets are a furry part of the family, so I would treat them with the same love and care I give my cats and dobies, and make sure your animals are genuinely cared for while you are away. I know what it means to be a good and responsible sitter, and I can guarantee if you trust me with your pets you will not regret it! I'm offering drop-in sitting and dog walking, and I cannot wait to have the opportunity to meet your pets. I work full time, but am available outside of standard working hours to spend plenty of time with your pups! I have pets of my own so I know how important it is to spend time with them & make sure they are happy while you are away. When caring for pets, I always make sure to guarantee they have a comfortable and clean environment as well as plenty of play time (for their benefit & because I just love dogs!)
About: Here's a bio you can drop straight into Rover — written to lead with trust and play up your small-dog experience: --- Hi, I'm Gaby! Your dog will feel like part of the family the moment they walk in. I share my home with three schnauzers, so I've spent years fluent in the small-dog world — the big personalities, the specific quirks, the way a little dog just wants to be in the middle of everything. That's exactly what I'll bring to your pup. I'm based in Mesa Del Sol and offer boarding and dog walking, with a focus on small dogs who'll fit right in with my crew. Your dog won't be a lonely guest, they'll have three friendly companions, a cozy spot to settle, and plenty of one-on-one attention. My large patio is great for supervised outdoor time, and I build in regular walks so everyone gets their exercise and sniffs in. What you can count on: frequent photo and video updates, a consistent daily routine, and honest communication about how your dog's doing. I'm background-checked through Rover, and I treat every dog like I'd want mine treated when I'm away. Have a pup with special routines, medications, or a shy streak? Just tell me — I'm happy to work with! Yes! My husband and I are a duo/team. I go on long walks in the morning to Tucker out the pups before heading to work. Then my husband watches them and takes them out for a mid day stroll (temperature willing) before I return home at 3 pm. Weather/temperature allowing I take the dogs on 1-3 mile walks once I am home. I love to play with the animals as it brings me joy. I find happiness in providing attention and time to your best friend. The apartment is completely safe and will receive many walks along with play time in the park.
About: I’ve been a pet owner all my life, not only have I cared/owned dogs, but cats and reptiles too! I love all animals and have cared for special needs and elderly dogs. I specialize in house sittings so that your pup is still comfortable and in a familiar environment. I have no problem tending to your pups day to day schedule and needs. This of course includes, walks, specific dinner times, and whatever other needs your dog may have. I only take one sitting at a time to ensure your pups receive my undivided attention and pristine service!

About: A little about me: I’ve had a dog by my side every day since I was six years old — dogs are an integral part of my life, not just something I do on the side. Over the years I’ve cared for dogs of every size, age, and temperament, from tiny lap dogs to a 90-pound Labrador, and from bouncy puppies to dogs in their older years. Experience: My deepest experience is with senior and special-needs dogs. My Labrador had a series of health challenges, including three separate leg surgeries. I nursed him through every recovery, which meant walking him with a support sling until he was back on his feet. When he was later diagnosed with cancer, I cared for him through hospice at home — giving his daily medications and keeping him comfortable and loved right to the end. So if your older dog needs medication, a little mobility help, or just extra patience and gentleness, that’s something I genuinely know how to do. I’m just as comfortable with high-energy dogs. That same Labrador was a handful in his younger years, so I know what it takes to keep a strong, active dog happy and well-exercised. I also love puppies and understand the patience and consistency they need. I’m happy to walk more than one dog at a time, and I have experience with leash-reactive dogs — I know how to keep walks calm, controlled, and low-stress for a dog who needs a little extra management. Right now I share my home with two girls — a 15-year-old Chihuahua mix and a 2-year-old Cairn Terrier — so both ends of the age spectrum are part of my daily routine. Before them I’ve cared for several terriers and a Border Collie mix, among others. I walk my own dogs every single day and I’ll keep yours on a good routine too. I’ve also dog-sat for family and friends who were thrilled with the care I provided — beyond looking after their dogs, I kept their homes tidy, watered plants, and brought in mail, treating each home with the same respect I’d give my own. Services: I offer dog walking, drop-in visits, and overnight house sitting: • Dog walking — I keep dogs safely leashed and give them a proper outing with a good sniff, steady exercise, and a potty break, adjusting the length and pace sensibly for the weather. • Drop-in visits — I come to your home to feed, refresh water, handle potty breaks, play, and give plenty of affection, plus tidy up any little messes before I head out. • House sitting — I stay overnight in your home and keep your dog’s whole world running on schedule (feeding, walks, medication, playtime, and steady company) while also looking after your place by keeping it tidy, bringing in the mail, and watering plants. Availability: I work from home and set my own hours, so I’m around for your dog far more than the average sitter — and I can be flexible to fit your schedule. Pet care is the center of my day, not an afterthought, which means real time and attention whether it’s a midday walk, an unhurried drop-in, or being present in your home throughout the day on an overnight stay. The only exception is the occasional family commitment, which I always know about well in advance, so I can be upfront about my availability every single time. Peace of mind: Your dog’s safety and happiness are my top priorities. I’m always happy to send photo and video updates so you can see your pup having a good time, and I’ll check in as often as you’d like while you’re away. And should anything ever go wrong, I’m able to drive your dog to the vet in an emergency — so you can travel with real peace of mind. Pet care is the center of my daily routine. I work from home, my schedule is very open and flexible, so I can build my day around your dog's needs rather than squeezing them in. The only exception is the occasional family commitment I schedule around, and because those are always planned well in advance, I'll always know my availability far ahead of time and can be upfront with you about it. To give you a sense of how I run a day: my own dogs eat at 8am and 6pm, get a 20–40 minute walk in the evening, and I stay attentive throughout the day to when they need to go out. My younger dog gets dedicated playtime with her toys, and my senior girl gets her medication right on schedule every other day. I keep that same consistency and attention for any dog in my care — sticking to your dog's normal feeding, walking, medication, and potty routine so their world stays steady while you're away. When I care for your dog in your home, safety comes first. I keep all doors and gates closed and latched, and I'm constantly aware of where your dog is — especially any time I'm heading in or out, so there's no chance of an escape. I follow whatever house rules and routines you set. I also treat your home with the same respect I give my own. When I dog-sat for family and friends, I kept their house tidy, watered their plants, and brought in mail while they were away. I will leave your home just as you left it, keep you updated with photos while you're gone, and communicate quickly about anything that comes up. My goal is for you to come home to a happy, well-cared-for dog and a house in good order.
About: I've cared for pets my whole life - as a child, through adulthood, and with my own family. Now, my wife and I have Zeus and Nala, two adorable lab mixes who rule our life with walks, baths, and dinner time. I'm a longtime professional transitioning to a new career. Currently, I have no recurring commitments and have lots of availability and flexibility for intermittent or regular walks and sitting. I have a fenced yard and two friendly dogs to keep your pets company. I'm at home most of the day, and the doors stay open with access to a breezy porch and lots of sunlight.
About: I’ve been surrounded by dogs my whole life—my dad, my grandparents, everyone in my family had them—so caring for pups is second nature to me. I have a great pyrenees of my own who brings endless joy to my days and loves making new friends. At my home, your dog will have plenty of fun and comfort. I offer a doggie pool for summer splashes, a ball launcher for endless fetch, and a variety of toys to keep tails wagging. If your pup needs a kennel when left alone, I have two here so you won’t need to bring your own. My home comfortably accommodates up to four dogs at a time, so your furry friend will have plenty of company without feeling crowded. Whether it’s playtime, cuddles, or a safe space to relax, I treat every dog like my own—because to me, they are family. I currently work 8-5 and take the dogs out during my lunch! I have a big backyard and one friendly house dog that are always looking for new friends ☺️ There’s also a doggy pool outside for them to cool down in the summer. The pets are allowed free range of the house (as long as they are house broken) and the backyard. I feed my dog twice a day and give them dental sticks once daily, but will follow the feeding/grooming/walking routines your dog is used to.
About: Animals have always been a huge part of my life. Growing up, pet sitting was actually my very first job, and it quickly became something I genuinely loved doing. Caring for animals has never felt like work to me—it's something I've always been naturally drawn to. During college, when I wasn't able to have a dog of my own, I volunteered with local foster organizations so I could continue spending time with and caring for dogs. That experience strengthened my understanding of different personalities, energy levels, and the patience each animal needs to feel comfortable and safe. I understand how important it is to trust someone with your pet, and I treat every animal as if they were my own. Whether your pet loves long walks, playtime, cuddles, or simply needs a calm and dependable companion, I'm committed to providing loving, attentive care while you're away. I currently work part time so I have plenty of time to care for your animals! Weekends as needed as well so you can travel confidently knowing your furry friends are in good hands. I prioritize safety, consistency, and keeping pets comfortable in their own environment. I carefully follow routines, secure doors and leashes, provide lots of attention, and send regular updates so owners have peace of mind. I live in a home and have a fenced in yard with plenty of room for them to run around.
About: I’ve cared for pets my whole life, and am passionate about our furry relatives who need gentle and/or care-ful patience and attention. I’m experienced with small to large breeds, leash training, and rescues in need of extra love. Every animal has their own personality/quirks, and I take time to build trust and make them feel safe, in whatever this may be. Whether it’s daily walks, feeding routines, or cuddle time, I treat every furry friend as a family member 🐶💛🎃🐈⬛ I am a part-time student so I will have lots of time to keep them on their routines and daily activities! I am available any day of the week with flexible hours. I am excited to keep a daily/weekly schedule with my regulars! Your pet’s safety and comfort always come first. This is something I take very seriously. I follow all instructions carefully, use secure leashes and harnesses, and maintain a calm, loving environment. Anything else you need, I can do it. I keep constant communication (texts, photos, videos, and any updates requested) so you always know your pet is happy and cared for. I treat every home and pet with the respect and attention they deserve because that is what I would want for my baby.
“Travis was great with my 2 year old German Shepherd Chico. I was a little nervous since it was literally Chicos first real walk in a very long time. He warmed up to Travis immediately and Travis was great with him. Chico is not easy to walk and he is very strong but everything went well. Chico loved it and actually wanted to go for more. I won't hesitate to book Travis again for all of Chicos walks and also for dog sitting while I'm away. Thanks again Travis for making Chicos day!!!”

About: I have been caring for dogs for as long as I can remember. Growing up, my family had 13 dogs, so caring for them and being surrounded by animals was a significant part of my childhood. As I grew older, so did they, and unfortunately, most have since passed away. After moving to New Mexico three years ago, I quickly realized how much I missed having my furry companions around. That inspired me to begin providing pet care services through Rover. Since then, I have had the opportunity to care for many different breeds, personalities, and ages from small and large dogs to puppies and seniors. Becoming a pet sitter has truly been one of the most rewarding decisions I have made. A few months ago, I also began co-parenting a Miniature Schnauzer and. Shih Tzu with my sister, which has reminded me just how much I enjoy spending time with dogs, caring for them, and keeping them happy and entertained. I truly believe the saying that “a dog is a person’s best friend.” ❤️ Our pets may be one chapter of our lives, but to them, we are their whole story. As a sitter, my goal is to make your pet feel safe, comfortable, loved, and cared for while you are away. I understand how important routines are, so I do my best to follow your pet’s normal schedule and provide plenty of attention, companionship, comfort, and playtime. In addition to my personal and professional pet care experience, I became a certified dog trainer four years ago, giving me additional knowledge and experience in understanding canine behavior and working with dogs with different needs and personalities. I’m mainly a homebody, which allows me to spend plenty of quality time with the pets in my care. I’m currently a graduate student and attend school Monday through Thursday, but I’m typically only away for about 1–3 hours on those days. When pet sitting, I spend 16+ hours a day at the owner’s home, so your pets will have plenty of companionship, attention, and care throughout the day. I also work a part-time job on Friday and Saturday nights, when I’m typically away for approximately 8 hours. Outside of those hours, I’m home and able to dedicate my time to keeping your pets comfortable, entertained, and as close to their normal routine as possible. I am a dependable, trustworthy, and attentive pet sitter who understands how important it is for pets to feel safe and comfortable while their owners are away. I make it a priority to follow your pet’s regular routine and schedule as closely as possible, providing consistency and familiarity in your absence. Whether that means going on walks, playing, relaxing together, or simply giving them plenty of love and attention, my goal is to make sure your pet feels happy, comfortable, and genuinely cared for throughout their stay.
“We were looking for a trustworthy, dependable walker for our rambunctious dog and Melissa fits the bill! She seems like a genuinely good person who our dog just adores. It's hard to let a stranger handle your beloved pets. Your friend is in good hands with Melissa! We'll continue to use her for daily walks.”
About: Now serving the greater Albuquerque Area! To all of my Utah clients, I miss your pups 💜 I moved to Albuquerque in September 2023. When I moved to Utah, by myself, in January 2023, I got lonely and craved animal connection, so I began with Rover. It has been such a great thing in my life. I hope to continue my services in New Mexico. I now have 2 pups of my own, but my partner cares for them when I am sitting. I will never bring them to a sit unless prior meeting and permission of the owners. Bloopers and Scub are young, big, lover boys with a lot of energy. They LOVE other dogs. Sophie, my senior pup, had to be put down before I moved to Utah. I cared for her heart and kidney failure for 3 years. I am experienced with senior pups and can handle all the way down to puppies, too. I love cats. I am also a trained bird handler. I have pet sit for my professors and coworkers before, from hunting lab puppies to senior Maltese. Since moving to Utah at the beginning of the year, I have house sat, done drop-ins, and walks. I have house sat for all kinds of pups from labs to yorkies, goldendoodles to bulldogs. I work a very flexible full-time, telework option, job. I can check/walk in morning, lunch, dinner and through the night if needed. Week days and weekends. I have extensive experience giving pets drugs and other heath needs. I can do any form of exercise or travel needed. I will always double check doors are locked and secured.

“Pepper had a great time with Laura's family and their pup crew! She was so well cared for, got to take hikes and got all kinds of fun doggy play time. I loved all of the pictures and videos to ease my mind while I was away. I'm grateful to have found a sitter in the area we can count on :)”

“Cindy was great with our three dogs while we were out of town. She is experienced and overall everything seems to have gone very well! She communicated regularly with us and was very flexible. We will definitely be using her again!”

“Maellen is the warmest, caring, and most attentive dog sitter we've ever had. She sent us daily updates with pictures and was very responsive anytime we had a question. We could tell our Toby was happy, safe and comfortable in Maellen's home. Not once did we worry about Toby's well being, safety or comfort and we were able to enjoy our time out of town. Toby got his daily walks, plenty of time with Maellen and we could tell that she took great care of Toby. We are looking forward to having Maellen watch Toby again. In fact, we have confirmed another booking with Maellen later in the year.”

“Lauren was great! As someone with hyper dogs, I super happy that Lauren was able to take them to the dog park and on walks to get their zoomies out. I could tell my pups felt right at home with her. 10/10”

“Rachel was great. I was nervous to leave my new kitten as she was still very young, Rachel was knowledgeable and I felt safe leaving Bianca with her. She was very attentive to messages. Gave me updates and pictures everyday. Would definitely use her again if the need arose.”

“Jamie and Patrick were great with our dog while we were out of town. From the moment we met them we knew she would be well cared for and have plenty of playtime and attention. Jamie was great with communication and kept us updated with how she was doing and sent plenty of pictures as well. We will absolutely be booking with them again when the time comes.”

“Highly recommend this pair to car for your 4 legged kid. They seem to genuinely love caring for fur babies. Churro had a great time and came home happy. We will be back.”

“She was very kind and answred very quickly. She understood yoongis special needs and went beyond and gave her the best home away from home. Yoongi also had a good time with the rest of the dogs and i was happy to see the pictures of her with the other dogs. I will definitely recommend and will book again with her if ever needed.”

“Kristle was amazing with our dogs! She and her family took such great care of them and kept us updated throughout their stay. Her big backyard is perfect for my energetic dog, and she provided ample couch cuddles for my lower energy dog. I feel so comfortable with Kristle and will definitely be requesting her care for our pups in the future!”

“Joshua's in-home sitting for our two dogs was great! He has an obvious talent for working with and training dogs, even stubborn ones. Our dogs were well-kept, and enjoyed playing with his German Shepherd in his large backyard. All went well and our dogs are better behaved for their 5 days with Joshua. We highly recommend him!”

“My dog was super anxious and Crystal was so accommodating and helpful while I was away. She went above and beyond to take care of my dog and I’m incredibly grateful!”

“First time using Mina and Hannah and they were great. We received many updates and pictures and our dog had a couple of walks in a short stay. Also quick to respond with the booking process.”

“Michael is the greatest. He has really been wonderful keeping my pup happy. I receive texts and pictures everyday and he always updates me on how my dog is doing. I highly recommend Michael as a sitter. My dog took to him right away that's just the kind of person he is.”

About: We've owned dogs and cats ourselves over the years but don't currently have our own fur babies. We've been travelling the country doing pet sitting and have LOVED it! We walk through the dog park across the street just to soak up some of that pure positive energy. We'd love to host your fur baby (ies) and give them tons of love and pets. I work from home and my husband is retired, so they will not lack for attention. We live in a spacious condo, so they need to give enough warning to be taken outside, but we're across the street from the dog park and only blocks from the Bosque, so plenty of places to play and walk here. I work from home and have plenty of breaks. My husband is retired. We have tons of time to shower your delightful creatures with love and attention. We walk every day, so easy to take a dog along. It's easy to fit pets into our routine, and it brings us much joy to have creatures to shower with affection. We live in a spacious condo in a secure building. We have plenty of space and light. Dogs would need to give us enough warning to take the elevator downstairs. We live right by a beautiful dog park, another city park, and the Bosque.
“Celine always takes the best care of Ellie! We have complete peace of mind knowing Ellie is in such good hands. It’s clear how much Celine loves and cares for the dogs she watches, and Ellie is always happy and excited to be there. We truly appreciate the attention, kindness, and excellent care she provides.”

“Emily was wonderful! Our German Shepherd had a blast with sweet Jasper, they were playing before I could even get out the door! We got updates every day, and Kahlua slept the entire evening after bringing her home, so I think she was well worn-out! Will definitely be using Emily for any dog sitting needs from now on!”
