About: A little about me: I’ve had a dog by my side every day since I was six years old — dogs are an integral part of my life, not just something I do on the side. Over the years I’ve cared for dogs of every size, age, and temperament, from tiny lap dogs to a 90-pound Labrador, and from bouncy puppies to dogs in their older years. Experience: My deepest experience is with senior and special-needs dogs. My Labrador had a series of health challenges, including three separate leg surgeries. I nursed him through every recovery, which meant walking him with a support sling until he was back on his feet. When he was later diagnosed with cancer, I cared for him through hospice at home — giving his daily medications and keeping him comfortable and loved right to the end. So if your older dog needs medication, a little mobility help, or just extra patience and gentleness, that’s something I genuinely know how to do. I’m just as comfortable with high-energy dogs. That same Labrador was a handful in his younger years, so I know what it takes to keep a strong, active dog happy and well-exercised. I also love puppies and understand the patience and consistency they need. I’m happy to walk more than one dog at a time, and I have experience with leash-reactive dogs — I know how to keep walks calm, controlled, and low-stress for a dog who needs a little extra management. Right now I share my home with two girls — a 15-year-old Chihuahua mix and a 2-year-old Cairn Terrier — so both ends of the age spectrum are part of my daily routine. Before them I’ve cared for several terriers and a Border Collie mix, among others. I walk my own dogs every single day and I’ll keep yours on a good routine too. I’ve also dog-sat for family and friends who were thrilled with the care I provided — beyond looking after their dogs, I kept their homes tidy, watered plants, and brought in mail, treating each home with the same respect I’d give my own. Services: I offer dog walking, drop-in visits, and overnight house sitting: • Dog walking — I keep dogs safely leashed and give them a proper outing with a good sniff, steady exercise, and a potty break, adjusting the length and pace sensibly for the weather. • Drop-in visits — I come to your home to feed, refresh water, handle potty breaks, play, and give plenty of affection, plus tidy up any little messes before I head out. • House sitting — I stay overnight in your home and keep your dog’s whole world running on schedule (feeding, walks, medication, playtime, and steady company) while also looking after your place by keeping it tidy, bringing in the mail, and watering plants. Availability: I work from home and set my own hours, so I’m around for your dog far more than the average sitter — and I can be flexible to fit your schedule. Pet care is the center of my day, not an afterthought, which means real time and attention whether it’s a midday walk, an unhurried drop-in, or being present in your home throughout the day on an overnight stay. The only exception is the occasional family commitment, which I always know about well in advance, so I can be upfront about my availability every single time. Peace of mind: Your dog’s safety and happiness are my top priorities. I’m always happy to send photo and video updates so you can see your pup having a good time, and I’ll check in as often as you’d like while you’re away. And should anything ever go wrong, I’m able to drive your dog to the vet in an emergency — so you can travel with real peace of mind. Pet care is the center of my daily routine. I work from home, my schedule is very open and flexible, so I can build my day around your dog's needs rather than squeezing them in. The only exception is the occasional family commitment I schedule around, and because those are always planned well in advance, I'll always know my availability far ahead of time and can be upfront with you about it. To give you a sense of how I run a day: my own dogs eat at 8am and 6pm, get a 20–40 minute walk in the evening, and I stay attentive throughout the day to when they need to go out. My younger dog gets dedicated playtime with her toys, and my senior girl gets her medication right on schedule every other day. I keep that same consistency and attention for any dog in my care — sticking to your dog's normal feeding, walking, medication, and potty routine so their world stays steady while you're away. When I care for your dog in your home, safety comes first. I keep all doors and gates closed and latched, and I'm constantly aware of where your dog is — especially any time I'm heading in or out, so there's no chance of an escape. I follow whatever house rules and routines you set. I also treat your home with the same respect I give my own. When I dog-sat for family and friends, I kept their house tidy, watered their plants, and brought in mail while they were away. I will leave your home just as you left it, keep you updated with photos while you're gone, and communicate quickly about anything that comes up. My goal is for you to come home to a happy, well-cared-for dog and a house in good order.

About: I had a lot of cats and dogs growing up, and I was the neighborhood dog sitter basically from the time I could ride a bike until I left for college. I know for many people today their pets are a furry part of the family, so I would treat them with the same love and care I give my cats and dobies, and make sure your animals are genuinely cared for while you are away. I know what it means to be a good and responsible sitter, and I can guarantee if you trust me with your pets you will not regret it! I'm offering drop-in sitting and dog walking, and I cannot wait to have the opportunity to meet your pets. I work full time, but am available outside of standard working hours to spend plenty of time with your pups! I have pets of my own so I know how important it is to spend time with them & make sure they are happy while you are away. When caring for pets, I always make sure to guarantee they have a comfortable and clean environment as well as plenty of play time (for their benefit & because I just love dogs!)

About: Since a kid I've been surrounded by dogs. I was taught young how to care for and interact with them. Since then I've always had pets and made sure they lived the best lives they possibly could. While I don't have any sort of specialized skills when it comes to pet care I do have plenty of experience. The majority of my adult life has been spent in the military and security industry. Giving me the required skills to provide a safe and secure environment for your fur child. I am currently working part time with a very open schedule. I'm free most days except from the times of 5pm to 8pm usually. Leaving me plenty of time to check on your pets. I have an enclosed yard with two dogs at home. One small and one big. Both very friendly and would love a trip with your pup to the nearby park.

About: I have grown up with big dogs since I was little as well as 2 cats! I’ve been with huskies and pomskies as well as labradors and shepherd dogs! I can take care of high energy and low energy dogs! I love cats as well! I know their temperament and how to approach them! My friends have had pit bulls which I do not discriminate against! I have helped with raising puppies and taking care of sick dogs, I promise to treat your pet with the utmost respect and care as if they were my own child! I am working part time at Starbucks and I work on Wednesday’s Thursday's and Sunday's, other than that I have morning classing Monday-Friday and I am good! I do online school so my schedule is very flexible for leaving in the mornings, and sometimes afternoons! At my home we have a big back yard and it is fenced in, we let our animals inside the house as well as outside, I don’t do pet care in my home because we have 4 big dogs and two cats and that would just be stressful on our dogs and cats as well as the dogs or cats I’m taking care of!

About: I absolutely love dogs, and will treat your baby like mine. I got into this because finding good care for my dog is such a stressful experience as my tolerance for risk is extremely low. I am a nervous dog mom and will care for your pets like they are my own, they will be safe and secure with me and you will get as many updates as you would like. I’m available for boarding on the weekends as well as from Tuesday- Wednesday night. I work in ABQ as well so if you need someone to stay at your house during the week while you are on vacation I am happy to do that as well. In clients home I want to make sure I have a good understanding of their routine and behavior. Having a high level overview of your dog will help me care for them. A former roommates dog had a thing for people on skateboards so when we were on walks, I knew I needed to hold him tight as they were passing. Understanding your dogs quirks will help me care for them.

Growing up, my family had 13 dogs, so caring for them and being surrounded by animals was a significant part of my childhood. As I grew older, so did they, and unfortunately, most have since passed away. After moving to New Mexico three years ago, I quickly realized how much I missed having my furry companions around. That inspired me to begin providing pet care services through Rover. Since then, I have had the opportunity to care for many different breeds, personalities, and ages from small and large dogs to puppies and seniors. Becoming a pet sitter has truly been one of the most rewarding decisions I have made. A few months ago, I also began co-parenting a Miniature Schnauzer and. Shih Tzu with my sister, which has reminded me just how much I enjoy spending time with dogs, caring for them, and keeping them happy and entertained. About: I have raised dogs, cats and a variety of other animals my whole life. From fostering, to baby sitting to raising pets of my own, I have always loved animals and caring for them. I currently have 3 dogs (ages 3,3 and 5) and 2 cats, one being a senior (ages 10, and 2). I’ve adopted all of my animals from shelters or friends, adopted them at a variety of ages and one of my dogs is disabled (born with only one eye). I am proud to say that I have done my absolute best to give them the proper care and love and attention they deserve, and I think they have been all very happy and well cared for! I am a before and after school instructor, as well as a university student, so I am free in most afternoons. I can do early morning and afternoons before 3pm. I have a large fenced yard that my dogs play in every day. I feed them every morning and afternoon, visit them daily and have them sleep inside every night. My family is very loving towards our animals, and I have never had issues with my pets showing signs of stress or unhappiness. I treat them with the love and kindness I treat everyone, and have raised both from adoption, two since they were a puppy (they are now 3) and one since he was about 1 year old (he is now 5).

About: I have taken care of my own dogs/cats as well as families pets, I can create a big connection with animals, especially dogs, I have a big heart for all animals I’m currently a stay at home mom of a 1 year old and she loves animals just as much as me, walking dogs or having to go visit them would get us out of the house and we’re almost always free. I do have a little Banana Bread side business too. I have a fenced yard, 3 dogs (a great dane thats a bit older, a chihuahua and a blue heeler mix) and one cat, the cat is an outdoor cat.
