About: I absolutely love dogs, and will treat your baby like mine. I got into this because finding good care for my dog is such a stressful experience as my tolerance for risk is extremely low. I am a nervous dog mom and will care for your pets like they are my own, they will be safe and secure with me and you will get as many updates as you would like. I’m available for boarding on the weekends as well as from Tuesday- Wednesday night. I work in ABQ as well so if you need someone to stay at your house during the week while you are on vacation I am happy to do that as well. In clients home I want to make sure I have a good understanding of their routine and behavior. Having a high level overview of your dog will help me care for them. A former roommates dog had a thing for people on skateboards so when we were on walks, I knew I needed to hold him tight as they were passing. Understanding your dogs quirks will help me care for them.
About: I have taken care of my own dogs/cats as well as families pets, I can create a big connection with animals, especially dogs, I have a big heart for all animals I’m currently a stay at home mom of a toddler and she loves animals just as much as me, walking dogs or having to go visit them would get us out of the house and we’re almost always free. I do have a little Banana Bread side business too. I have a fenced yard, 3 dogs (a saint bernard thats a bit older, a chihuahua and a blue heeler mix) and one cat, the cat is an outdoor cat. About: I have owned diabetic dogs and one with epilepsy. Friends and coworkers always ask me to watch their furbabies because they know how good my husband and I are with our own. They trust us and coming from someone who rarely traveled and when I did I took them with me because I don't trust others would take care of them like I do. I understand the anxiety that comes with having to leave them behind for whatever reason. Knowing they will be loved and have fun makes it that much easier for both you and your pet. Safety and security are also most important to us so rest assured they will be okay. I'm a stay at home mom and my husband's business is from home so we are both always here. We never leave for more that 3 hours due to our 2 dogs. I have a fenced yard with lots of room to run around. My brother also lives across from me and has over an acre of running room as well if needed. My husband and I work from home and are always available. We used to have dogs with medical issues and couldn't really leave them with anyone. My husband and I love animals and know how hard it is to leave them anywhere. Even at petsmart hotel they stay inside a small area and the play area isn't that big. We work from home and are never away longer than 4 hours. We have a 2 year old who is really good with the dogs as well but Rest assured we never let her play with them unattended. We have a large yard for dogs and know that they will be taken care of and loved while visiting us. All pets need love and attention. Even pet hotels leave them alone overnight and the thought of them having to hold it or use it in their space to feel ashamed is aweful. With us you get peace of mind and that's priceless In my home they will be treated like our own. They can play outside as long as they want. They scratch on the door ahead. They want in or out. They sleep inside on our bed with us of course. We want them to sleep wherever they feel comfortable. My dog buddy sleeps in his cage when he stays with others because he feels safe there so we understand everyone is different.

About: I have lived with at least 2 dogs in my household for the past 20 years. Providing them with the opportunities to live fulfilling and healthy lives has been my priority. Although I am their caregiver, I consider them also to be my teachers. Learning how to communicate with them is the best way to ensure they are happy and calm, and that they feel safe. I am currently retired and spend quite a bit of time at the dog park. My dog and I are mostly inseparable. I take him with me to run errands when I can. It isn't always practical and so he minds the house when I am away. Barney is my only companion, and, even though I'm kind of a loner, Barney is NOT. He is extremely friendly and social and craves the company of other dog;, that factors into my decision to care for other dogs in my home. Barney will help me keep your dog comfortable and happy while in our care. We have a fenced back yard (4 foot). The surrounding properties have no dogs at this time. If your dog can jump a 4 foot fence, this may not be the safest home for him or her.

About: A little about me: I’ve had a dog by my side every day since I was six years old — dogs are an integral part of my life, not just something I do on the side. Over the years I’ve cared for dogs of every size, age, and temperament, from tiny lap dogs to a 90-pound Labrador, and from bouncy puppies to dogs in their older years. Experience: My deepest experience is with senior and special-needs dogs. My Labrador had a series of health challenges, including three separate leg surgeries. I nursed him through every recovery, which meant walking him with a support sling until he was back on his feet. When he was later diagnosed with cancer, I cared for him through hospice at home — giving his daily medications and keeping him comfortable and loved right to the end. So if your older dog needs medication, a little mobility help, or just extra patience and gentleness, that’s something I genuinely know how to do. I’m just as comfortable with high-energy dogs. That same Labrador was a handful in his younger years, so I know what it takes to keep a strong, active dog happy and well-exercised. I also love puppies and understand the patience and consistency they need. I’m happy to walk more than one dog at a time, and I have experience with leash-reactive dogs — I know how to keep walks calm, controlled, and low-stress for a dog who needs a little extra management. Right now I share my home with two girls — a 15-year-old Chihuahua mix and a 2-year-old Cairn Terrier — so both ends of the age spectrum are part of my daily routine. I am a nervous dog mom and will care for your pets like they are my own, they will be safe and secure with me and you will get as many updates as you would like. I’m available for boarding on the weekends as well as from Tuesday- Wednesday night. I work in ABQ as well so if you need someone to stay at your house during the week while you are on vacation I am happy to do that as well. In clients home I want to make sure I have a good understanding of their routine and behavior. Having a high level overview of your dog will help me care for them. A former roommates dog had a thing for people on skateboards so when we were on walks, I knew I needed to hold him tight as they were passing. Understanding your dogs quirks will help me care for them.
About: I have grown up with big dogs since I was little as well as 2 cats! I’ve been with huskies and pomskies as well as labradors and shepherd dogs! I can take care of high energy and low energy dogs! I love cats as well! I know their temperament and how to approach them! My friends have had pit bulls which I do not discriminate against! I have helped with raising puppies and taking care of sick dogs, I promise to treat your pet with the utmost respect and care as if they were my own child! I am working part time at Starbucks and I work on Wednesday’s Thursday's and Sunday's, other than that I have morning classing Monday-Friday and I am good! I do online school so my schedule is very flexible for leaving in the mornings, and sometimes afternoons! At my home we have a big back yard and it is fenced in, we let our animals inside the house as well as outside, I don’t do pet care in my home because we have 4 big dogs and two cats and that would just be stressful on our dogs and cats as well as the dogs or cats I’m taking care of!

About: I have raised dogs, cats and a variety of other animals my whole life. From fostering, to baby sitting to raising pets of my own, I have always loved animals and caring for them. I currently have 3 dogs (ages 3,3 and 5) and 2 cats, one being a senior (ages 10, and 2). I’ve adopted all of my animals from shelters or friends, adopted them at a variety of ages and one of my dogs is disabled (born with only one eye). I am proud to say that I have done my absolute best to give them the proper care and love and attention they deserve, and I think they have been all very happy and well cared for! I am a before and after school instructor, as well as a university student, so I am free in most afternoons. I can do early morning and afternoons before 3pm. I have a large fenced yard that my dogs play in every day. I feed them every morning and afternoon, visit them daily and have them sleep inside every night. My family is very loving towards our animals, and I have never had issues with my pets showing signs of stress or unhappiness. I treat them with the love and kindness I treat everyone, and have raised both from adoption, two since they were a puppy (they are now 3) and one since he was about 1 year old (he is now 5).

Growing up, my family had 13 dogs, so caring for them and being surrounded by animals was a significant part of my childhood. As I grew older, so did they, and unfortunately, most have since passed away. After moving to New Mexico three years ago, I quickly realized how much I missed having my furry companions around. Outside of those hours, I’m home and able to dedicate my time to keeping your pets comfortable, entertained, and as close to their normal routine as possible. About: I have taken care of my own dogs/cats as well as families pets, I can create a big connection with animals, especially dogs, I have a big heart for all animals I’m currently a stay at home mom of a toddler and she loves animals just as much as me, walking dogs or having to go visit them would get us out of the house and we’re almost always free. I do have a little Banana Bread side business too. I have a fenced yard, 3 dogs (a saint bernard thats a bit older, a chihuahua and a blue heeler mix) and one cat, the cat is an outdoor cat. Our dogs haven’t been around too many other animals besides families dogs but once they meet new dogs and get to know each other they can get along well with them.

About: We've owned dogs and cats ourselves over the years but don't currently have our own fur babies. We've been travelling the country doing pet sitting and have LOVED it! We walk through the dog park across the street just to soak up some of that pure positive energy. We'd love to host your fur baby (ies) and give them tons of love and pets. I work from home and my husband is retired, so they will not lack for attention. We live in a spacious condo, so they need to give enough warning to be taken outside, but we're across the street from the dog park and only blocks from the Bosque, so plenty of places to play and walk here. I work from home and have plenty of breaks. My husband is retired. We have tons of time to shower your delightful creatures with love and attention. We walk every day, so easy to take a dog along. It's easy to fit pets into our routine, and it brings us much joy to have creatures to shower with affection. We live in a spacious condo in a secure building. We have plenty of space and light. Dogs would need to give us enough warning to take the elevator downstairs. We live right by a beautiful dog park, another city park, and the Bosque.
