About: Hi! My name is Emily, I work as a Vet Assistant and am passionate about animal care. I have experience with all sizes, ages, and activity levels of dogs, cats and small animals-because of this, I am knowledgeable about a wide range of breeds, personalities, and needs. I live in the South Reno area and care for my friends animals here and there so I thought I’d try out Rover! As for house check ins: I have experience in feeding and medication administration, and of course-playtime! If you have any further questions, feel free to ask me! I work 4 days a week as a Vet Assistant so animal care happens daily! I have time throughout the work week and on my days off to care for pets. I have pet sat for pets both in my own home and while house sitting. The important part is that your pet is comfortable! I am open to accommodating their specific needs.

About: Hi! I’m Michelle — a dog lover, proud pup mom, and currently on a much-needed sabbatical after years in consulting. My love for dogs started young — I literally made a presentation for my parents at age 7 on why we needed one. I studied dog breeds like it was my full-time job (still a fun party trick!), and I’ve been obsessed ever since. My pup Cola is my whole heart. She’s smart enough to be a service dog, but she’s a social butterfly who lives for belly rubs and making new friends. I genuinely love spending time with dogs and would be happy to give yours the care and attention they deserve. Feel free to message me — I’d love to connect! I’m currently on sabbatical so I have plenty of time to take care of your fur baby! We can figure out a schedule that works for both of us. I have a fenced yard, always have dogs on a leash while walking, and am very wary of dogs and people, especially when your pup may be a little nervous around them!

About: Hi! I’ve cared for wide range of pets, from dogs and cats to lizards and birds my entire life. I also worked in a veterinary hospital for many years and gained a wealth of knowledge on how to care for pets in a gentle but firm manner. My husband calls me a Disney princess because I rarely find an animal I can’t get to warm up to me. I am an avid hiker and walk a route with my son and pets that’s over 3 miles daily so I have the endurance to handle the most high energy pooches. I currently have 2 dogs, a cat and 3 chickens that are spoiled silly and are great with new friends. I am a mom of 3 young boys so I am not scared of a little extra energy and very skilled at multitasking in chaos. I do, however, like to keep a calm and peaceful home as much as possible. It’s all about balance! I am a stay at home mom so I have a very flexible schedule. The only commitment I have is school pick up/drop off and some weekly practices for the kiddos. I also have an SUV that is great pickup and drop off if needed. I have fenced yard on a little over 1/4 acre with heater/cooled areas for crating if needed and lots of areas to soak up the sun and lounge. We have pet access from the garage to the yard as well so potty breaks are a breeze.

“I have a deaf, high-energy kiddo. Joe handles him with patience and was eager to learn his signs and make sure Tofu is well taken care of. Joe is very communicative, friendly, and prompt every time. We love Joe!”

About: As a lifelong animal lover, I understand the special bond we share with our pets. Growing up with both cats and dogs, and having been a dedicated cat owner for the past 30 years, my life has always been enriched by furry companions. I know firsthand the mix of excitement and worry that comes with leaving your beloved pets when you travel, as I feel it every time I'm away from my own. Because of this, I've come to rely on and deeply appreciate the services of amazing pet sitters on Rover, and I've loved the comfort they have provided me. I would now love the opportunity to offer that same peace of mind to you. My goal is to provide reliable, compassionate care that allows your pets to feel safe and loved in their own environment, giving you the freedom to travel without a single worry. I currently take care of my sisters 4 dogs when she is traveling but would want to get to know a pack larger than 2 before agreeing to care for them multiple days to make sure they are comfortable with me and I am able to manage all of their needs. Currently, I am in a period of career transition, which provides me with a highly flexible schedule. This allows me to be incredibly adaptable and available to your pets' specific needs, whether that means multiple visits a day, extended stays, or last-minute requests. I can easily fit pet care into my daily routine, ensuring your furry family members receive the consistent attention and care they deserve. I currently have 2 senior cats (Ollie & Georgie) who are not particularly fond of other pets in their space so I would lean towards caring for pets in your home or taking them for walks. Where ever I am I respect the property and would follow any suggestions or guidance you provide. I will treat your pets and property as if it was my own.

About: I have cared for animals since I was 15. From senior dogs who require pills or injections to puppies. Our pack ranges from 2-5 dogs at a time as dogs truly find us (and we can’t say no!). We also have 2-3 cats at any time. Often times, animals are better than most humans. I am on summer break and will be available to take your pups on walks or hikes or just pop in—whatever is needed. During the school year, I work for the district and I would love to show my daughter what a good work ethic looks like. Of course, she doesn’t need to go with me on all visits! At home, I can crate your dog if needed and keep an eye on him/her in the back yard. When on walks, I am aware of our surroundings and always prepared for whatever could come up.

About: For 15½ years I was blessed with my little sidekick Emma Sue! She was a great pup! We used to go on hikes, bike rides, and to the beach for fun! I will be available every other week on **Thursdays-Saturdays.** **If booking boarding for a Friday, please note that depending on the week, I may not be available until 5pm.** **If overnight care on a Saturday is needed, your pup must be picked up by noon on Sunday. Calendar is up to date through the end of the year!!! Where I live, we have 2 dog parks available to be able to take the pup to play with others. I'm also able to take them on a walk whenever their little heart desires!
