About: Hi! I’m Michelle — a dog lover, proud pup mom, and currently on a much-needed sabbatical after years in consulting. My love for dogs started young — I literally made a presentation for my parents at age 7 on why we needed one. I studied dog breeds like it was my full-time job (still a fun party trick!), and I’ve been obsessed ever since. My pup Cola is my whole heart. She’s smart enough to be a service dog, but she’s a social butterfly who lives for belly rubs and making new friends. I genuinely love spending time with dogs and would be happy to give yours the care and attention they deserve. Feel free to message me — I’d love to connect! I’m currently on sabbatical so I have plenty of time to take care of your fur baby! We can figure out a schedule that works for both of us. I have a fenced yard, always have dogs on a leash while walking, and am very wary of dogs and people, especially when your pup may be a little nervous around them!

“Carrie is awesome!! She cares for your fur kids like they are her own..”

About: I have worked with animals of all kinds since I was 8. Pet sitting for neighbors, friends, and family. I love to get out and move around. I have worked with pups of all ages. I work but come home on my lunch break as I live close by. I have a 2 year old Dutch shepherd and 2 cats. Walks and trips to the dog park are a regular thing in my house. I will provide daily walks or runs. Lots of love. Trips to the park and outside activities for more active pups. Weekends and holidays are great. Im currently going to school so have plenty of time to care for your pets. I can come anytime as my classes are online currently. I live in a townhouse with a small fenced safe patio. I take lots of walks and trips to the dog park daily for my dog and children

“Haileigh is a professional and timely dog walker who genuinely cares for my furry companions. Highly recommend her services!”

“Brittany took great care of our puppy during her daily walks and always made sure to communicate with me prior to and after her visits. Thank you so much, Brittany!”

“Mayra has been exceptional with my two labradoodles. She is incredibly reliable and attentive, always ensuring they receive the best care. Her dedication and love for animals shine through in every interaction. Highly recommended!”

About: Hi! My name is Emily, I work as a Vet Assistant and am passionate about animal care. I have experience with all sizes, ages, and activity levels of dogs, cats and small animals-because of this, I am knowledgeable about a wide range of breeds, personalities, and needs. I live in the South Reno area and care for my friends animals here and there so I thought I’d try out Rover! As for house check ins: I have experience in feeding and medication administration, and of course-playtime! If you have any further questions, feel free to ask me! I work 4 days a week as a Vet Assistant so animal care happens daily! I have time throughout the work week and on my days off to care for pets. I have pet sat for pets both in my own home and while house sitting. The important part is that your pet is comfortable! I am open to accommodating their specific needs.

About: Hi! I’ve cared for wide range of pets, from dogs and cats to lizards and birds my entire life. I also worked in a veterinary hospital for many years and gained a wealth of knowledge on how to care for pets in a gentle but firm manner. My husband calls me a Disney princess because I rarely find an animal I can’t get to warm up to me. I am an avid hiker and walk a route with my son and pets that’s over 3 miles daily so I have the endurance to handle the most high energy pooches. I currently have 2 dogs, a cat and 3 chickens that are spoiled silly and are great with new friends. I am a mom of 3 young boys so I am not scared of a little extra energy and very skilled at multitasking in chaos. I do, however, like to keep a calm and peaceful home as much as possible. It’s all about balance! I am a stay at home mom so I have a very flexible schedule. The only commitment I have is school pick up/drop off and some weekly practices for the kiddos. I also have an SUV that is great pickup and drop off if needed. I have fenced yard on a little over 1/4 acre with heater/cooled areas for crating if needed and lots of areas to soak up the sun and lounge. We have pet access from the garage to the yard as well so potty breaks are a breeze.

About: I have taken care of my own dogs and pet sat for family friends on several different occasions so I have a lot of experience with dogs of different ages, energy levels, and temperaments. This has helped me learn how to be both silly and fun with dogs, and also stern when needed. I’ve helped take care of puppies and older dogs more times than I can count so I’m pretty familiar with the extra care that goes into taking care of those fellas too. My schedule is pretty open as I look for a new job so I’m free most days of the week and any time during the day! I have a doggie bowl for water so your dog will always be well hydrated on walks/ while playing. I also will make sure to go through the plan for the day beforehand so I can make sure I have a solid idea of what needs to be done to meet the owner and pets needs.

About: With 25 years of experience caring for all kinds of pets—dogs, cats, reptiles, birds, rodents, and fish—I know how to make every furry (or scaly!) friend feel safe and loved. I work from home, so your pup will never be alone, and with a big backyard to run and play, they’ll get plenty of exercise and fun! Whether your dog loves belly rubs, playtime, or just a cozy spot to relax, I provide a home-away-from-home experience tailored to their needs. Book with me for worry-free boarding where tails wag, and pets feel at home! I work from home so I am always available to give attention to your pets! I also have a decent sized open backyard and grass for running around. We live in a beautiful neighborhood with a trail nearby for walks. I can abide by any requests you may have, but for the most part, dogs sleep inside, go out every two hours, go for a walk, eat according to their schedule.

About: I have cared for animals since I was 15. From senior dogs who require pills or injections to puppies. Our pack ranges from 2-5 dogs at a time as dogs truly find us (and we can’t say no!). We also have 2-3 cats at any time. Often times, animals are better than most humans. I am on summer break and will be available to take your pups on walks or hikes or just pop in—whatever is needed. During the school year, I work for the district and I would love to show my daughter what a good work ethic looks like. Of course, she doesn’t need to go with me on all visits! At home, I can crate your dog if needed and keep an eye on him/her in the back yard. When on walks, I am aware of our surroundings and always prepared for whatever could come up.

“Nicole is the bomb digity and works around my revolving schedule and meets me at home or work which are within 3mi. Winnie and I are grateful”

About: I believe dogs sense what humans cannot. They love unconditionally and purely. It is impossible not to love them back in the same way. For two years now, I have been watching dogs as friends or family go on vacations and have loved every minute of it! Being able to get to know each dog's individual personality and gaining their trust is truly a rewarding experience. I have the flexibility of working from home so I am able to spend as much time with the fur baby has they need. I have a high level of patience working with animals as I see them as children- just with four legs and a tail! I look forward to getting to know more four-legged friends! I work full time but have a flexible schedule and am able to work remotely so I can work my schedule around what your pet needs. I currently care for a kitten in my home where we play all morning until he is ready for his afternoon nap. I grew up with two large dogs who I would take for walks twice a day and play with toys as desired.

“Jessica has been an exceptional dog walker for our 2 furry friends! She not only ensures they get their walks but also incorporates playtime, keeping them happy and active. Her dedication and care are truly appreciated.”

South Reno dog parents share their Rover experiences
Kinan was wonderful with our dog. Wally has had a tough time warming up to Kinan and after 1 visit they are pals. Kinan is very professional. Highly recommend!

Ian has been walking my puppy for a few months now and he does a fantastic job. He’s reliable, great with my puppy, and takes the time to leave me a note if there’s ever a concern or a success!

Brittney was great with walking my dog Dallas. I booked an hour, and right from the beginning Brittany happily took control. I injured myself(tripping on a XL Kong ball) so was just kinda hobbling along. So grateful Dallas got the walk she deserved, as my injury didn't allow me to do it. Also, Brittney was super responsive with timely and quick communication. I will definitely use her again when I am in Reno. Dallas said to send you snuggles.
