“I felt very confident when she was enthusiastic about setting up a quick meet and greet. She completed the walk despite a minor collar failure, and I appreciated her transparency with the situation. Professional, polite, and wonderful to work with!”

About: I’ve always had pets growing up so I’m very familiar with their needs and what makes them happy. Currently have a 5 year old Half American Pincher / Chihuahua. Very friendly and full of energy. Great with everyone and all kinds of animals. I currently work from home so I’m always available to around to make sure they are okay. We got for multiple walks a day and also visit the dog park near New Bedford High School regularly. My dog roams the apartment freely while I work. We do not cage our pet. ( no offense to those that do) He is also allowed on the furniture. He has plenty of toys and I also take him to a fenced in park where he runs around for an hour a day. We got for walks in the morning, during my lunch break and plenty of walks after work. We have a fenced in yard but it is rather small so we don’t do much there.

About: I have worked as a Veterinary Technician for the past six years, caring for companion animals, agricultural species, wildlife, and exotics in both Florida and Massachusetts. My lifelong passion for animals has driven me to develop skills to care for all needs. I started my career in shelter medicine and moved on to working with companion and agricultural animals full-time. During this time, I have assisted in providing life-long care to thousands of pets, covering anesthesia and monitoring, dentistry, grooming, and regular care in and outpatient settings. I have always pet-sat for my clients over the years, allowing my patients to remain in the comforts of their homes, and have fostered hundreds of shelter pets and exotic animals who need intense care. I later moved on to wildlife rehabilitation, where I have been a part of over 1,600 cases successfully returned to the Everglades. Our sanctuary had over 400 permanent residents whom I used operant conditioning to train for cooperative care and voluntary medical procedures. I also worked with Ambassador Animals during educational presentations to groups of all ages about responsible pet ownership and conservation. I have since returned to Massachusetts, where I resumed companion animal medicine and training before deciding to leave in-clinic practice. I love taking care of dogs and cats, and would like to continue to share that passion with my community. Whether your pet is elderly, medically complex, or has a demanding training or enrichment schedule, you can trust that they will receive the highest quality in-home care from a veterinary professional. Depending on the pet’s temperament, nail trims are included free of charge at your request. I have recently transitioned from in-clinic practice and am currently available for bookings at any time. Perfect for last-minute bookings and pets in high-need situations. Whether your pet simply needs feeding and quiet time or requires round-the-clock supervision and interaction, I respect the wishes of pet parents and am devoted to giving pets the care and comfort they deserve. Providing that care in their home, especially during times of need, is deeply fulfilling to me. I look forward to working with you to create a personalized plan for your pet, giving you peace of mind while you’re away.

About: I've been looking after dogs and cats since I was 12! They've ranged from my grandma's shitzu to dog sitting mastiffs! I've even watched reptiles like ball pythons and geckos. I've walked, bathed, fed, watered, and loved them the whole time. I, myself, have 2 bunnies, fish, and a ball python. All together the most dogs I've ever watched at the same time was 28! It was 5 adults dogs, one puppy the equivalent to a toddler, and 22 puppies! At the moment I'm hoping that pet care will become a full-time job. At the moment I am able to do any day and any time. I, sadly, do not have a cute puppy or kitty to play with your fur baby, however it just means they get more love from me! I can lift a 75 pound dog if needed and have the resources to contain one if necessary.

About: My passion is animals I’ve been taking care of animals for years and I’ve been learning about how to care for each species’ specific needs. I’ve volunteered at shelters, I am part time veterinary technician at an animal hospital, and currently in school on track to be a veterinarian. Im currently in school and working part time so I’ll be available all day Monday, Friday, Saturday, and Sundays. I will be available Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday early mornings and evenings only! In your home, i would care for your pets by sticking to their regular routine for feeding, exercise, grooming, and fun! Ensuring their space is safe and comfortable with clean water, appropriate bedding, and pet-proofed areas. I do this by following detailed instructions, respecting your home and pet’s routine, and providing regular updates. For care in my home I have a fenced yard and two pups to keep yours company and would maintain your pets schedule as well.

About: I have taken care of my family dog in many different capacities since I was 6 years old, and I enjoy walking, playing with, or just being active around all different kinds of dogs! I currently work at a middle school, so my summers, weekends, and afternoons are generally free! I also live in a pet-friendly home and a great spot for walks near the downtown New Bedford area. I make sure pets I’m taking care of can get a proper amount of attention and activity, so it feels like less of a scary change and more of a fun playdate.

“I utilized Lynne for daily walks/checkins for my dog while I was at work. Lynne was beyond amazing. She was reliable and flexible with my schedule, I always knew I could count on her. My dog is older and has some health issues and limitations, Lynne was great at taking these into consideration when caring for Neela. She was very gentle and patient, and Neela loved her for it. I highly recommend Lynne and the services she provides.”

“Colleen is great and has already become a preferred walker for Pepper. She is always on time, gives great updates, and I love the pictures. Colleen is highly recommended!!”

About: I have been taking care of the dogs the past 3 years, people in my neighborhood rely on me to stay over night with them, just check in on them if they are going to be gone for long periods of time, or just to take them on a walk for some exercise. I currently work part time but my schedule moves around a lot. I don’t have set times for walks, or check ins but I’m more than happy to move my schedule around to make it work for the both of us! I have 2 fur babies of my own and a fenced in yard with plenty of tops. If your fur baby needs some space I can always sit with them in a separate room, or put them in their crate!

“Naomi is wonderful! Walking our two dogs throughout the busy streets of Manhattan is not always a “walk in the park” but Naomi always seems to find great places and furrfriends to say hi to during the walks. She is so knowledgeable and patient with our rambunctious pups - we couldn’t thank her enough!”

About: I've had all types of animals growing up. From small critters to dogs. Currently own 2 cats named Sasha and Coco, chickens and have 3 freshwater fish tanks. I've house/pet sit for friends over the years. I have pretty good flexibility everyday for short visits > 2 hours. I have two young children in school so depending on time frame one might have to accompany me but if not needed I can work around it. My cats are pretty self sufficient as cats are but they are fed every morning and evening and get treats. They are indoor cats aged 7 and 8. I feed fish daily and do water changes once a week as Maintenance. Chickens are a bit more daily maintenance with cleaning out coop everyday and filling water and feeder but it's rewarding (especially with getting eggs)

“Linda was amazing with our girl Luna. She was prompt to pick her up and took her to the park to play with her fur friends followed by a nice long walk. Luna was so happy and tired when she got back home, which was perfect for a nice relaxing afternoon. Thanks again Linda, we will book again soon.”
