“Yue did such a great job of taking care of Lili while she was sick! Lili got diagnosed with a herniated disc during my finals week, and I needed someone to give her medication and make sure she stayed resting while I was at school. She gave Lili her meds as instructed, fed her breakfast, and sent pictures of her short stay while I was gone. I could tell Yue truly cared about Lili and her well-being, and I appreciate her putting in the extra effort to make Lili comfortable during her stay!”

“Ayeasha took great care of Ranger! We will definitely be back, he is always anxious when I leave, but I could tell he had a great time playing & felt very comfortable with her when I picked him up 😁”

About: I've lived with and loved pets all my life! I grew up with two cats from infancy and my family had a dog when I was a teenager. Since then, I've had housemates with dogs for 7 years (the dogs were always the most popular roommate). I've dogsat for housemates, friends, and family members, sometimes for a week or longer at a time. I was the primary caretaker for a family member's elderly dog for most of the pandemic. I love spending time with pets and getting to know them, and seeing the world through their joyful eyes! I spend my professional life sitting down talking to people and staring at screens a lot, so I love supplementing that with quality pet time! At present, there are some days when my work responsibilities are completely remote and internet-based, and other days when I have in-person commitments. When it comes to a house-sitting arrangement, I will always communicate with you about the nature of my availability, and whether I'm able to spend time with your pet that's more similar to someone who works outside of the home, or if I'm available for a greater portion of the day. I find that clear expectations and transparent communications make everyone's experience a lot better! I am currently able to offer the following services: - Pet daycare in your own home (rate depends upon duration) - Walks - Drop-in visits - House sitting I am able to walk pets around your neighborhood or drive them to an alternate location as per your preference (beach, dog park, etc.). I can be available to make drop-in visits and/or stay with pets in your home. I am not able to offer services in my own home, as pets require registration and approval through my HOA office.

“Link had a wonderful time with Samantha! She offered updates and pics to let us know how he’s doing. She was also very accommodating to our schedule as we were a little late with the drop off and pick up.”

About: Lifelong pet owner and animal lover with three years of experience as pet sitter and dog walker. Provide safe, nurturing care for your dog. Friendly and trustworthy, putting pets and their people at ease with reliable, conscientious care. I’m currently working as a part time during the night so I have plenty of time to care and give your dog attention especially during the day. I have a fenced backyard and one small dog that can keep your fur baby company. I can also easily crate my dog if needed.

About: I am an experienced pet owner in the La Jolla area. My husband, me, and our dog Almond love other dogs! We are very active and go on several walks per day, take our dog to play fetch at different parks around San Diego, and the dog beach. I work from home, so I have the flexibility to take Almond and other dogs for walks throughout the day. Almond would love to have some company, making our spot perfect for doggie day care! I work from home on east coast hours. Currently, my husband and I take our dog Almond for at least 3 walks per day — in the morning, afternoon, and evening, and would do the same for any dog in our care. We also make time for more involved trips to the park or the dog beach at least twice a week. With a dog of our own, we are very attentive to his needs throughout the day and would do the same for any dog in our care. He is feed twice a day, water is always available, and plenty of attention is given all day long! We have plenty of dog toys in our apartment, and make time for at least 3 walks a day.

“Danielle was great! Very responsive and went out of her way to make sure I felt comfortable leaving my pup with her! He had a great time at her place and came back so tired from playing all day (exactly what I wanted!). She sent pictures/videos throughout the day too!”

“Susana really helped me out when I was in a bind- she accommodated my 8 month old for daycare last minute. He had a great time and passed out right when he got into the car to go home! Thanks again!”

I absolutely adore dogs and will be a caring sitter as I know how precious your dog is to you. During the work week, I have a full time remote/work from home job that is east coast hours. During my daytime as I am remote, I have availability to care and walk dogs and by 1 or 2pm PST I am fully done with work for the day! About: I give your dogs the personalized care and attention they deserve. I’ve cared for several dogs with different sizes, ages, and behavioral needs, including 2 dogs of my own in the past. I WFH remotely and dog sit on the side. Here’s how I differentiate myself as a sitter: - Tailored care: Every dog has different needs, and I make sure they’re fulfilled! I ask every new client about their dog’s personality, routine, and any special needs I should know about. - Communication and transparency: I can give you as many text/photo/video updates as you’d like throughout the day. I always keep clients updated on how their dog is doing so they have peace of mind. - Peaceful home: I provide comfort in a tidy, quiet house with a spacious 900 sq ft fully fenced backyard, no children, and no other animals. Dogs I DO NOT sit: - High energy dogs - Dogs under 2 years old I’m home almost 24/7, leaving the house for up to 2 hours at a time when I need to run the occasional errand. I aim to schedule your dog’s walks, play, and meals based on their usual routine. - I only serve 1 client at a time to ensure quality care and attention. - I never play loud noises, and I clean the house daily so your dog can feel safe and relaxed. - I live with my boyfriend who also loves dogs, and we let dogs snuggle and play with us as if they were our own. I’m eager to give your pup the love, attention, and quality of care they deserve!

About: I understand how hard it is to leave your pet, and I’m here to make that choice easier with reliable, personalized attention. I will make sure to keep you updated with photos, messages, and all the adorable moments in between. Your pet’s happiness and comfort are my top priorities! Whether your fur baby loves snuggles on the couch, playtime, or peaceful walks, I’m here to give them all the love and attention they deserve. With years of hands-on experience, and a pet parent myself to a happy, healthy senior dog, I know how important it is to provide consistent, gentle care. Whether that means running around at the park, slow-paced walks, medication routines, or just extra cuddles and comfort throughout the day. I bring the same level of dedication to every pet I care for, treating them with the same love and respect I give my own. If you’re looking for a sitter who offers reliable care, playful energy, and unlimited cuddles, I’m the one for the job. Can’t wait to meet you both! I work from home, so I have an open and flexible schedule during the week, which means your pet gets plenty of attention, timely care, and a consistent presence throughout the day. Whether they need quiet companionship, routine potty breaks, or frequent cuddle breaks, I’m here for them. I prioritize safety and comfort by providing a pet-friendly, fully supervised space with plenty of soft spots for naps, gentle routines, and a peaceful atmosphere where your pet can feel at ease and cared for.

“Anna is truly a godsend for my little furbaby. She’s detail oriented and helps ensure the happiness of your pet while following the directions you leave her to a T. My dog always gets so excited to see her, and loves having a little vacation with her because she makes her that happy! Sometimes I feel like my dog might even like her more than me!”

Shawna S.
“Shawna is reliable, detail-oriented, and incredibly attentive—everything you want in a pet sitter. She respected every instruction we left, paid close attention to our dog’s behaviors and needs, and communicated with us regularly so we were never left wondering how things were going. She also has a senior dog of her own, which gave us even more confidence in her experience and care. We couldn’t have asked for a better experience, and we’re so grateful to have someone we can truly trust.”
Sorrento Valley dog parents share their Rover experiences
Siqi was fantastic and was so helpful for my first Rover sit! She took care of my anxious dogs so well and calmed a lot of my worries of the dogs causing too many issues. She sent so many pictures and updates for me during the stay and gave the dogs many potty breaks. I’m so thankful that she was able to give the attention to my dogs to and help them to learn to not be scared of strangers. She’s very loving and soft towards the dogs she’s caring. I hope to have more dog day care stays with Siqi in the future!

Danielle was great! Very responsive and went out of her way to make sure I felt comfortable leaving my pup with her! He had a great time at her place and came back so tired from playing all day (exactly what I wanted!). She sent pictures/videos throughout the day too!

Ava took excellent care of our four month old puppy, Mini, while we were out of town for the weekend; we couldn’t be more grateful. Even before booking, Ava was flexible and worked with us to accommodate Mini’s stay, which gave us great confidence moving forward. On the second day of her stay, Mini was unexpectedly stung by a bee. Ava acted quickly; she iced the affected area and immediately notified us. Thanks to her calm and thoughtful response, we were able to consult with a VetCo technician, and Ava didn’t miss a beat. She followed through by administering Benadryl according to Mini’s age and weight, showing true responsibility and care. Throughout the stay, Ava kept us updated with texts, photos, and videos, which gave us peace of mind. We truly appreciate her attentiveness and quick thinking during the unexpected bee sting situation. 5-🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟 and a huge thank you from Mini and us...🧔🏻♂️👩🏻🦱👨🏻🦱👧🏻🐶!

Maria took amazing care of my puppy Millie as she was recovering from her Spay surgery. She kept her incision clean and dry and was watchful over her to make sure she didn’t overdo it while she had her stitches in. She was great about sending updates also. Her cat was super chill with my pup and they ended up coexisting in peace (which is impressive for a puppy who had never been around a cat before). I’d 100% recommend Maria to take care of you’re pet and I’d definitely use her again in the future.
