About: I have lived with dogs since I was 6 years old. In college, I fostered dogs with my roommates. Neighbors, friends and families have either relied on me or hired me to take care of their dogs in different fashions since I was 13. I am a returned Peace Corps volunteer who just returned from 27 months spent teaching English in México. I am an elementary school teacher, but due to the timing of my return, I will not be returning to the classroom until August of 2027. As such, I have wide open days and nights. My service will vary on my client's needs and expectations. If the expectation is multiple daily walks, there will be multiple daily walks. If the expectation is crating, there will be crating. If the expectation is belly rubs to fall asleep, then belly rubs will be given. Each home and each pet comes with its specific set of requirements, and no one knows those better than the client themselves.

I’ve worked with dogs of all different sizes, ages, and personalities through working at a dog daycare. I’m comfortable with energetic dogs, seniors, and dogs who need a little extra patience. Ava is great with cats! She is really worth hiring if you need a great, caring, and gentle cat sitter. My elderly cats really enjoyed her. They usually are mad when I leave them for a few days. We used Ava for a week and they didn’t miss us much! She is great and really cares for your pets as if they were her own.
I had to leave town spur-of- the- moment and was able to secure Priscilla to care for my three indoor cats and one (feral) outdoor cat. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. sitters on Rover set their own , which you can find on their profile under their contact information. Sitters may set a same-day, one-, three-, or seven-day cancellation policy. Cancelling within your sitter’s cancellation policy qualifies you for a full refund.
Same-day cancellations for recurring services, which include walks, drop-ins, and day care, follow the full refund policy. Otherwise, for pet boarding and house sitting, if you cancel after 12 pm on the applicable cancellation deadline, you’ll receive a 50% refund for the first seven days of the booking and a 100% refund for any remaining days.
If your sitter needs to cancel within seven days of the booking's start date, then our reservation protection will kick in. This means you will get a full refund and our support team will work with you to find a replacement sitter.
