“Wenchi was very caring and attentive to my cat- sent me lots of pictures everyday so I was never worried about her. Perfect transitions of dropping off and picking her up- my vacation was much more relaxing knowing that my cat was safe and sound. Thank you!! I will definitely be booking again in the future 😸”

“Jiajie was absolutely amazing! She took such great care of my puppy and was incredibly attentive the whole time. She sent me tons of updates, photos, and videos every day, which made me feel so reassured and at ease while I was away. Communication was super smooth — she was always responsive, friendly, and patient, and you can really tell she genuinely cares about the dogs she looks after. My puppy was happy, relaxed, and clearly well cared for when I picked her up. I couldn’t have asked for a better sitter. Highly recommend Jiajie to anyone looking for someone trustworthy, kind, and responsible. I would 100% book with her again!”

About: From age 14 to 30, I had the wonderful dalmatian Luckiy. From age 32 to 50, I had the amazing beagle Hadley. Hadley passed away in Feb. 2026. We will get a dalmatian puppy in Aug. 2026. In the intervening months, we're looking to care for others' dogs. We miss having a dog in the house, but don't want to get another dog of our own whilst we're still mourning Hadley. I'm an academic on Sabbatical from Jan to July 2026, so I'm working entirely from home. Your dog will be kept indoors with me, but let out into the backyard to play and potty. We will go for daily walks to the near-by park. Dogs happy riding in cars will come with me on errands when it's below 65 degrees. If your dog doesn't like cars or it's too hot, the dog will be left indoors when I run errands. We're available for drop-offs and pick-ups weekdays between 9am and 9pm, weekends between 11am and 9pm. We consider dogs members of our family. We're only able to care for one dog at a time. Dogs are allowed on furniture and are able to sleep on the bed or in a doggy bed by the foot of the bed. My dalmatian lived to 16 and my beagle lived to 17 1/2. We are very in tune with dogs' well-being and take very good care of them. We are only able to look after female dogs who have been spayed. Generally we prefer dogs under 30 lbs, but we will look after dalmatians of any weight.
“Edward had another wonderful stay with Jessie. He gets so excited when he sees her. He’s so much happier staying with her than at a boarding kennel and she takes great care of him.”

“XingYuan was great!! All the updates with pictures and videos were awesome & I could tell my dog was very comfortable with her & happy! Will use her again in the future.”

“This was Bristol’s first overnight boarding, and Alayna went above and beyond to make the experience as smooth as possible. She met with us in person beforehand to ensure that Bristol and Jake could get to know each other, which made the transition much easier. Alayna is incredibly considerate and maintained clear, consistent communication throughout the entire process. Her warm and attentive approach gave us peace of mind and made Bristol’s stay truly comfortable.”

“Ann was great. Very professional and great communicator. Clearly has a lot of experience with handling dogs. It was our first time with her and she made us feel very comfortable. Will stay again!”

“I really appreciate Janely taking such great care of Lando on fairly short notice! Communication was great - the pics were awesome! I know Lando enjoyed himself! Would definitely book again!”

“A bit hard to review as there wasn’t much overlapping time to be with Memha. Her home is quite rural and surrounded by orchards with a large fenced yard so visually very appealing Memha and her husband were very sweet and volunteered to come into town to both pick up and return our dog back to us; very thoughtful! Our dog came home tired which we loved!”

“Leora was very responsive and took great care of our dog! Appreciated her sending pictures and clarifying additional things about his care (like treats). Would definitely book with her again!”

“Achara took care of our special needs terrier with no problem. It was great that she could stay home with him to reduce his separation anxiety. She was also east to communicate with. We are very grateful for her help.”

“Annie was truly a blessing while we were away. She treated my dogs Chip and Bengi like her own and showed so much patience and kindness. She was extremely understanding, dependable, and made the whole process stress free for us. It’s not easy trusting someone with your baby, but Annie made it feel so comfortable. We are beyond thankful for her! 💖💖🥹”

About: For years I’ve been caring for animals as if they were my own. With my sister being a dog trainer, I’ve gained plenty of knowledge and encouragement to go into this business. I’m currently working as a part-time server with time available on Wednesdays and Thursdays as of now for dog walking and/or pet care. I also have a large window for morning walks Monday-Friday. I typically like to get a written checklist of the routine or discuss routines prior to the day(s) requested. I do not offer in home boarding until further notice.
“Roy was a lifesaver! I got sick and my high energy dog needed someone to care for her while I slept. Roy took Ali on short notice and gave her the care and attention needed until I was better! Have already rebooked! Highly recommend!”

About: I’m a lover of all animals and happy to help out! Bonus point if you have a small wire haired dog??? A lil disheveled old dog who needs a gentle attitude? You would be paying me in a years worth of serotonin already. Just got back from a travel hiatus and ready for my furry friends :’) I have grown up and lived with a variety of animals: cats, pittie mix, small dogs, birds. I've been pet sitting across multiple platforms and word of mouth, and new to rover! If your pet is looking for a friend with a cozy vibe, look no further :) I spend most of my time writing and making art at home, so we will have plenty of time to bond. They will feel like someone loving and safe is still around while you are on your trip away, and they’ll get plenty of walks while I’m here- I’m quite active myself. Excepting the other Rover sits, I work a relatively flexible schedule. Shoot me a message and let's see if we can make it work, even if my schedule is booked, we might be able to work something out. I tend to bond easily with animals since my priority is keeping each pet comfortable in their own routine and home. I'm really not in a rush to get myself on their good side, and they appreciate that. I follow their cues and it works!
About: I have experience helping friends take care of their dogs, including feeding, walks, playtime, and companionship. I also volunteer as a foster for kittens through a local shelter and have experience caring for bottle babies, including feeding on schedule, monitoring health, and providing extra attention and comfort. These experiences have taught me patience, responsibility, and how to care for pets with different needs and personalities. I currently work part-time, which gives me plenty of flexibility and time to focus on pet care. I’m home most days and can provide consistent attention, playtime, walks, and companionship. I’m available for boarding and sitting on weekends, and I’m happy to adjust my schedule to meet your pet’s routine and needs. I prioritize safety, comfort, and clear communication at all times. I follow each pet’s routine closely, including feeding schedules, walks, medications, and special instructions. I make sure pets are supervised, kept in a calm and clean environment, and given plenty of attention and affection. I’m attentive to behavior changes and will always update owners with photos and messages for peace of mind

A bit hard to review as there wasn’t much overlapping time to be with Memha. Her home is quite rural and surrounded by orchards with a large fenced yard so visually very appealing Memha and her husband were very sweet and volunteered to come into town to both pick up and return our dog back to us; very thoughtful! Jessie did a great job watching our dog Maple! She was really responsive and easy to communicate with from the start. She sent plenty of updates and photos, which we really appreciated. Jessie took her on a lot of walks and gave her plenty of attention. Maple came home happy and tired! We’d definitely book Jessie again.

Nayzeth took amazing care of my dog Elvis! She texted me pictures and updates every day! I could tell that she. really cared about my dog and wanted to do anything she could to make sure that he was happy while he was with them. I highly recommend Nayzeth when considering a sitter for your pets!!

I give Lena my highest recommendation as a dog sitter! I am writing this review in reference to our experiences on two separate occasions. The first time we had Lena sit for our dog Daisy (a 4 yo pit mix) was a great experience. We always look for someone to watch Daisy who enjoys spending time with her and wants to have fun and Lena went above and beyond by not only taking Daisy on walks but also all sorts of hikes and adventures (we even got a cool photo of her wearing sunglasses!). Lena also dealt with some issues of Daisy having to go potty in the middle of the night very competently and professionally. She watched Daisy for 11 days and Daisy was well taken care of and happy when we picked her back up. The second time we had scheduled with Lena to watch Daisy for one night and Lena had a family emergency come up (a totally valid reason to cancel). Instead of simply leaving it to us to find a backup, Lena helped coordinate with her roommate to watch Daisy, which worked out great. Lena that she is not only able to take great care of dogs, but she is also a thoughtful and responsible person.
