“Wen is amazing caretaker. I felt happy and at ease with having my cats with her. She made sure they were comfortable, loved, well fed and happy in their stay. Definitely getting her again in the future. Recommend to any pet parent.”

“My doggo had a great weekend! I recieved frequent updates and pictures! He seemed very cozy there, I'll defiently bring him back next time I need a boarding in the area!!”

“Ann is a very caring dog sitter. She took time to get to know our dog when we dropped her off. She sent updates each day we were away from our fur baby. Have always felt comfortable knowing our dogs were in good hands when we traveled. Would always recommend her to anyone looking to have their pet sat for. Thank you again Ann!”

“Edward had another wonderful stay with Jessie. He gets so excited when he sees her. He’s so much happier staying with her than at a boarding kennel and she takes great care of him.”

“This was Bristol’s first overnight boarding, and Alayna went above and beyond to make the experience as smooth as possible. She met with us in person beforehand to ensure that Bristol and Jake could get to know each other, which made the transition much easier. Alayna is incredibly considerate and maintained clear, consistent communication throughout the entire process. Her warm and attentive approach gave us peace of mind and made Bristol’s stay truly comfortable.”

About: From age 14 to 30, I had the wonderful dalmatian Luckiy. From age 32 to 50, I had the amazing beagle Hadley. Hadley passed away in Feb. 2026. We will get a dalmatian puppy in Aug. 2026. In the intervening months, we're looking to care for others' dogs. We miss having a dog in the house, but don't want to get another dog of our own whilst we're still mourning Hadley. I'm an academic on Sabbatical from Jan to July 2026, so I'm working entirely from home. Your dog will be kept indoors with me, but let out into the backyard to play and potty. We will go for daily walks to the near-by park. Dogs happy riding in cars will come with me on errands when it's below 65 degrees. If your dog doesn't like cars or it's too hot, the dog will be left indoors when I run errands. We consider dogs members of our family. We're only able to care for one dog at a time. Dogs are allowed on furniture and are able to sleep on the bed or in a doggy bed by the foot of the bed. My dalmatian lived to 16 and my beagle lived to 17 1/2. We are very in tune with dogs' well-being and take very good care of them. We are only able to look after female dogs who have been spayed. Generally we prefer dogs under 30 lbs, but we will look after dalmatians of any weight.
About: I’m a lover of all animals and happy to help out! Bonus point if you have a small wire haired dog??? A lil disheveled old dog who needs a gentle attitude? You would be paying me in a years worth of serotonin already. Just got back from a travel hiatus and ready for my furry friends :’) I have grown up and lived with a variety of animals: cats, pittie mix, small dogs, birds. I've been pet sitting across multiple platforms and word of mouth, and new to rover! If your pet is looking for a friend with a cozy vibe, look no further :) I spend most of my time writing and making art at home, so we will have plenty of time to bond. They will feel like someone loving and safe is still around while you are on your trip away, and they’ll get plenty of walks while I’m here- I’m quite active myself. Excepting the other Rover sits, I work a relatively flexible schedule. Shoot me a message and let's see if we can make it work, even if my schedule is booked, we might be able to work something out. I tend to bond easily with animals since my priority is keeping each pet comfortable in their own routine and home. I'm really not in a rush to get myself on their good side, and they appreciate that. I follow their cues and it works!
“Annie is great! She’s so sweet and kind! She accommodated every need for my Bella and went above and beyond. Check ins were good and she even bathed my dog. She treated Bella like her own and for that, I’m thankful!”

“Leora was very responsive and took great care of our dog! Appreciated her sending pictures and clarifying additional things about his care (like treats). Would definitely book with her again!”

About: I have years of experience walking, feeding, bathing, and caring for pets, and my clients trust me to treat their furry friends like family. I am reliable, attentive, and committed to keeping every pet happy, healthy, and loved. I currently work as a neuroscience researcher! I maintain a very flexible schedule, so I have plenty of time to care for your pets! I did a lot of pet sitting in college, and I have continued to do this not just as a side job, but because spending time with animals brings me joy. Your pet’s safety and comfort are my top priorities. Whether I am walking them, stopping by for a check-in, or caring for them in your home, I make sure they’re happy, secure, and well-looked after. I follow your instructions closely, keep a watchful eye on their needs, and treat your home with the same respect I give my own.
About: For years I’ve been caring for animals as if they were my own. With my sister being a dog trainer, I’ve gained plenty of knowledge and encouragement to go into this business. I’m currently working as a part-time server with time available on Wednesdays and Thursdays as of now for dog walking and/or pet care. I also have a large window for morning walks Monday-Friday. I typically like to get a written checklist of the routine or discuss routines prior to the day(s) requested. I do not offer in home boarding until further notice.
“Our wild puppy loves staying at Acharas! She gets to play with other dogs and always comes home tired. We are so grateful to have a reliable and caring home to send our puppy to whenever we are out of town. Achara sends me cute picture updates of our dog having fun. Thank you!!”

“When Riker got out of the car and realized where he was going, he ran for the door. Needless to say, he was very excited. Like before, easy transitions for drop off. Nerds can be chatty. Save that for pickup. 😉. Got daily updates and pictures of Riker chillin and laying around and “accepting” pets. Roy and his kid took great care of Riker, again! Will definitely book again. Waiting to see this tattoo design.”

Richmond American Homes dog parents share their Rover experiences
Jessie did a great job watching our dog Maple! She was really responsive and easy to communicate with from the start. She sent plenty of updates and photos, which we really appreciated. Jessie took her on a lot of walks and gave her plenty of attention. Maple came home happy and tired! We’d definitely book Jessie again.

Nayzeth took amazing care of my dog Elvis! She texted me pictures and updates every day! I could tell that she. really cared about my dog and wanted to do anything she could to make sure that he was happy while he was with them. I highly recommend Nayzeth when considering a sitter for your pets!!

I give Lena my highest recommendation as a dog sitter! I am writing this review in reference to our experiences on two separate occasions. The first time we had Lena sit for our dog Daisy (a 4 yo pit mix) was a great experience. We always look for someone to watch Daisy who enjoys spending time with her and wants to have fun and Lena went above and beyond by not only taking Daisy on walks but also all sorts of hikes and adventures (we even got a cool photo of her wearing sunglasses!). Lena also dealt with some issues of Daisy having to go potty in the middle of the night very competently and professionally. She watched Daisy for 11 days and Daisy was well taken care of and happy when we picked her back up. The second time we had scheduled with Lena to watch Daisy for one night and Lena had a family emergency come up (a totally valid reason to cancel). Instead of simply leaving it to us to find a backup, Lena helped coordinate with her roommate to watch Daisy, which worked out great. Lena that she is not only able to take great care of dogs, but she is also a thoughtful and responsible person.
