About: With about 18 years of hands on pet care experience, what truly sets me apart is my calm, patient approach and deep understanding of animal behavior. Whether it’s a shy rescue who needs gentle encouragement or a senior cat who needs extra comfort and medication, I tailor my care to each pet’s unique needs. I have loved and cared for animals since the day I was born. I have 5 dogs, a mini horse, and two rabbits. My goal is always to provide a stress-free, trustworthy experience for both pets and their people. I am currently working part time so I have plenty of time during the week to take care of your babies when needed. My schedule is very flexible right now. I prefer not to work on the weekends, but if it is needed, I will make it work. In your home, I aim to keep your pet’s routine as normal and stress-free as possible. I take time to learn their habits—feeding schedules, favorite hiding spots, play routines, and any medical needs—so I can provide care that feels familiar and comforting. I make sure litter boxes are clean, water is always fresh, and your pet gets plenty of attention and affection at their own pace. For shy or senior pets, I move slowly and calmly, always respecting their space and personality.

About: I’ve worked with dogs of all ages – from energetic puppies who need structure and basic training, to senior dogs who require a gentler pace, extra attention, and sometimes medication or special care. I understand that every pet has their own personality and needs, and I take the time to get to know them so they feel safe, comfortable, and loved while you’re away. I treat every animal like they’re my own – with affection, respect, and lots of belly rubs. I also keep you updated with photos and messages so you can feel confident knowing your pet is in good hands. Pet care is a natural part of my daily routine because it’s something I truly enjoy. I’m available every day, at any time, which means I can easily fit into your pet’s schedule—whether that’s early morning walks, midday check-ins, or evening cuddle time. Being flexible allows me to give each pet the attention and consistency they need, and I’m always happy to adapt to their unique routines and personalities. Spending time with animals is one of the best parts of my day, and I make sure they feel loved, safe, and cared for at all times. When caring for pets in their own home, I focus on keeping their routine as normal and stress-free as possible. I follow your instructions closely—whether that includes feeding times, walk schedules, playtime, crate training, or administering medication. I always make sure your pet feels safe, loved, and comfortable in their own environment, and I treat your home with the same respect and care I would my own.

About: I started working with animals 8 years ago as a volunteer at a rescue barn. I've volunteered with about 3 other rescues and shelters, from walking dogs to monitoring health conditions. I just want to show all those little furry family members the love they deserve, and make sure they can be well taken care of if you are unable or temporarily absent. I currently only work 7-2 on weekends. Otherwise, I'm wide open and would love to run and play with your pets! We love treats and I'm a quick learner. Your routine, becomes my routine. I prefer to get a play by play of each animal's daily life at home so I can most relate their stay with me in my home to it. From feeding times to walking times and even play times, I love to have a set schedule to make all our lives easier. Of course flexibility is a must, and I'm happy to follow any needs that are seen fit because the animal's well being is top priority.

“I'm so glad that Caite was able to come to my tiny house and walk my big pups. They seem so happy and well taken care of! I will use Caite in the future. Thank you so much Caite.”

About: I’ve grown up with high energy Aussies since I was a kid. From the moment I moved to a pet friendly home and schedule I started on the Aussie pack I have now. I have trained two dogs from puppies and rescued two from unfortunate situations. Therefore, I understand and can assist in potty and leash training, socialization, or a good old fashioned game of fetch. I’ve always loved working with dogs and seeing the joy they get from just being with you. In college I often volunteered with animal shelters to assist in socializing dogs. While I was active duty military I relied on my dog sitter to ensure my pups were getting all of their energy out and getting all the love with my unpredictable schedule. Therefore, I know how important it is to have someone who you can trust with your pups. I will strive to treat your fur babies just like my own because they’re our family! I recently retired from active duty military and am taking some much needed down time with my 4 dogs. I am available Monday-Saturday and would love to fit your fur babies into the routine! I have a large fenced backyard, I believe in positive reinforcement, and have 4 excited friendly pups who would love to share their space and toys with any new friends that want to play!

About: I graduated from Montana State University November 2020, in Agriculture Education. I now work from home for a Credit U ion full time, but have plenty time in the afternoons and mornings to care for your pets! My pet sitting experience ranges from taking care of family and friends pets, to my own. I have been around all animals from cats and dogs to horses and cows my whole life. I'm not much of a runner, but I enjoy walks and hiking. I am also available for a walk on my lunch breaks typically 12-1 every week day but that can be flexible. I am training to be a dog groomer as well, so that will always be an option for an small additional charge ♥️ I work 10:00am to 7:00pm Monday through Friday and typically just clean and relax on weekends (and some camping and lake days in the summer). I severely miss my fur babies and would love to take your baby(s) to the park to play! Your fur baby will get plenty of exercise! If you have a more relaxed pet, we will spend our days in the sun reading and relaxing. Me being able to stay in your home allows your dog the comfort of their space, this can be helpful for babies that are uncomfortable with new people. I make sure I keep the same schedule they are use to.

“Shawn was so loving and kind with Mia when they met. She communicated clearly, came on time and sent me some cute photos of their walk. I would highly recommend her”

About: I cannot remember a time in my life that I didn't own a dog. I have grown up taking care of puppies, teen dogs, adults, and senior pups! I am truly passionate about giving dogs the attention, exercise, and love they so very need! I have dog-sat on several occasions for family members, friends, and coworkers. I am fully capable of those 2:00am potty breaks with new pups and cautiously keeping an eye on the elderly dogs. I am confident you will be pleased with my dog sitting/walking/companion skills. P.S. - I know Rover is geared towards dog sitting, but I am open to all pets! I have experience with cats, pigs, goats and more! Feel free to message me for pricing on all your pet needs. 😊 I’m currently a stay at home mom and part time florist. I am passionate about animals and love making time to care for fur babies of all kinds! It means so much to me to be considered for caring for your pets. I know you are placing a lot of trust into welcoming someone into your home and taking care of your furbabies. I am willing to do whatever is needed to ensure the safe care of your pets and look forward to exceeding your expectations.

About: I am certainly the “dog lady”. A doggo can never be too spoiled- they shower us with unconditional love and bring warmth to any home. I am a military veteran and rescued my pup in Turkey when I was deployed. Didn’t necessarily want a pet at the time but gosh golly am I grateful. She has been the most incredible addition to my life and I wouldn’t change a thing. I wanted to do this because I have such a tremendous fear of my pet being mistreated while I am away. Being new to the area- I actually drive six hours to bring her to my family instead of finding someone locally. I have a complete understanding of what the pet parent goes thru while they’re away and I know I can provide safe fun cuddly care for your pet. I recently took a hiatus from work after losing my dog. I understand the care pets deserve from first hand experience and sometimes guilt when you just can’t get home. My schedule is pretty open for your fur baby needs. Dogs are superior in this world. I treat all animals with respect and dignity. If you have specific requests I will do my best to accommodate you and your baby!

About: Hello dog parents! I live in Travelers Rest near the Swamp Rabbit trail. I love to get out and walk and I would love to take your four-legged friend with me (but if it only has three legs that’s fine too!). I’m flexible for day care, dog walks and visits. I’m available every night of the week for house sittings and boarding. I love all dog breeds but my favorite breed is English Springer Spaniel. If there’s anything else you would like to know feel free to contact me. I can also do pet portraits at an additional cost. If you’re interested ask me for more information. I work remotely online in crypto so I’m home most of the day. I love to get out and go for walks. My dog Mildred just passed away naturally after 15 years so I am used to caring for her. I’m always very considerate when taking care of others pets because I know how hard it is to leave them with someone else! I have regular clients in Charleston, SC, and they are always happy with me watching their pets. I am very flexible with my work schedule so I’m able to let your pet outside and play with them frequently. I can be very attentive to your pets needs! I’m also very considerate when staying at a client’s home. And I always keep dogs on a leash when walking them.

About: Hi! I’m a lifelong animal lover with experience caring for dogs and cats of all kinds. I got my first dog at age four and have grown up with pointers, spaniels, labs, and mixed breeds. I’ve also worked at a doggy daycare and currently care for my sweet, playful cat who’s been with me since I was 15. Whether it’s cuddling on the couch, going on long walks, or playing tug-of-war, I love connecting with animals in ways that make them feel safe and happy. I have experience with both indoor pets and outdoor lifestyles, and I bring a calm, attentive presence to every animal I meet. I’m currently preparing for grad school, so I’m looking for flexible work doing what I love most—spending time with animals! I’m currently looking for online part time positions as I start applying for grad school. I am trying to be more flexible with my schedule so I can prioritize grad school in the future. With pet-sitting: I am really respectful in what your routine is with your pet and what your pet needs. I am highly communicative and will send plenty pictures of your pet! I also love taking dogs to park, the swamp rabbit, or hiking if you are open to that. :) With boarding: I can easily crate your dog if needed, and I live in a house with 5 acres of land (unfenced). My parents have two retired hunting dogs who are kenneled, and we walk each dog separately for safety and comfort. When boarding, your pet would stay inside with me. I prefer to walk dogs on a leash until trust is fully formed. I also won’t let your dog interact with my parents’ dogs just to avoid any problems there! If your dog is house-trained, I’m happy to let them roam freely indoors—though we do prefer to keep pets off couches and beds. At home, my cat typically roams freely, but I’m happy to keep her upstairs to ensure a calm, safe environment when other pets are visiting.

Jen H.
“I am thankful for the opportunity to share why Jen is more then qualified to provide the utmost professional, compassionate, loving care to those seeking a caregiver for their dog on Rover.com. To begin, I have known Jen for 27 years; and we met as she was my boss at Barnies Coffee & Tea. From that period of time, up to today, Jen has illustrated a work ethic that is rare to find, coupled with understanding and patience in the service industry. Jen owned a coffee shop that catered to people and dogs alike, where dogs were welcomed with treats, fresh water, and affection. Dogs have always been an important part of Jen's life, and a passion. She has rescued her own dogs, aided in finding dogs forever homes, and is a generous supporter of local shelters. She is the ultimate advocate for not only her dogs; but also for yours.”

Steffanie G.
“Steffanie is the most loving and caring person I know. She has watched my two dogs many times before. She always goes above and beyond when taking care of my babies. She takes them on plenty of walks, takes them to the dog park to play, stays over at my house for hours to spend time with them so they don’t feel alone. One of my dogs has to take medicine and she has no problems at all helping her take her pill. If you hire Steffanie I can 100% guarantee that you will be over the moon with her love and care for your pet. She adores animals and will gladly do anything she can to make sure they feel comfortable when you are away. Dogs are family and Steffanie treats every dog she meets like they are one of her own. I know that you and your dogs will love to meet her. She is not only a great dog mommy, she is an outstanding wife and mother to her family. She is an amazing woman with the biggest heart and she is absolutely the best person for the job.”
