About: Over the years I've cared for friends' and family's pets, getting to know them, learning what they need, and genuinely loving every minute of it. Today I'm a cat mom to three rescues, including one with a chronic heart condition and asthma, requiring ongoing inhaler treatments and other medication. I'm also experienced caring for senior pets, and pets with special health needs or general anxiety. Every pet I care for gets spoiled like my own. Animals know when someone is comfortable around them and when someone actually cares. I take the time to get to know them, see what makes them happy, what stresses them out, whether they want to play or just want someone nearby, and I follow their lead every time. My schedule is built around pet care, not fit in around it. I'm available mornings, midday, and evenings, and can do multiple visits a day if your pet needs it. With 30 years caring for pets, including seniors and pets with special health needs, I know consistency matters, so you can count on me showing up when I say I will. Since I'm in your home, my focus is on keeping your pet and your space safe and secure the whole time I'm there. I make sure doors, windows, and gates are secure before I leave, and I do a check for anything out that could be dangerous to your pet. I follow feeding and medication instructions exactly as given, no guesswork, and keep things as close to your pet's normal routine as possible, especially for seniors or pets with special health needs. And I'll send updates or photos during the visit so you can see how things are going while you're away.

About: Growing up with both cats and dogs gave me the experience I need to take care of a wide variety of critters. My favorite is my mini dachshund, Chipper, who I raised and trained myself from a young age. I continue to give my little buddy high quality care 9 years later as he's battling his unfortunate health conditions. I plan on treating your pets with the same sort of love and consideration! I'm a student at JMU and I am home in Moseley, VA for the summer of 2026! I would be more than happy to work with you! My calendar has the correct dates available! About: I work with a variety of animals from horses to dogs, this includes simple checkups to dog/house sitting! I love being outside and going for walks myself and find it so much more enjoyable with a furry companion. From hyper to chill dogs we can go for walks or runs!! I am doing this to make money for college and hopefully transfer to a university that will foster my passion in engineering. About: I’ve been watching neighborhood and family pets since I was 13, both cats and dogs, elderly and young. I know when to give attention or whether to give them space. Hey! You can also call me Jaxon (he/him.) I’m auditioning for local theatres in Richmond, so my schedule is rather flexible. Weekends and weekdays are currently open, with room for rehearsals and show dates. I’d cater to whatever the pet needs. Some animals like to explore, so I’d supervise as they do so. Others are more reclusive, so I’d keep watch from a respectful distance.

About: I have personal experience helping to train and walking reactive smaller dogs who need a confident and kind leader. I will be attending a PhD program in Clinical Psychology starting this fall and know the importance of catering to each soul individually whether it is a person or pet. I also have experience with older dogs who struggle with neurological issues know how important it is to ensure that the owner as well as the pet have piece of mind in their pet care. I am currently unemployed while I prepare for graduate school, therefore I am available each day of the week and can make any schedule work for me! I am always happy to meet your pet at their crate or at the door, whatever is most comfortable for them! I love to play enrichment games with my pets that engage their mind and body in order to help their cognition. A simple one I play with my sisters miniature schnauzer is putting his food under paper plates on top of a towel and he has to figure out how to access his food and he loves it! I always think a simple game after a walk is such a great way to tire them out on multiple levels!

About: I know how to take care of animals with disabilities, my cat that I grew up with is blind and I took care of him until he passed away. I grew up around dogs and cats, my mom currently has two chihuahua mixes that I have taught some basic commands to. I also have a cat named Keke and she’s 3 years old. I can work around my schedule, I currently have a job working at cvs and am willing to move around my schedule to whatever fits best! I have a dog with anxiety and I know how to calm dogs down when they are stressed out about something and distract them away from the problem.
