About: Growing up with both cats and dogs gave me the experience I need to take care of a wide variety of critters. About: I've had dogs since I can remember. My fiancé watched dogs in the past with rover and I would always help. Take the dogs to the park on my days off, play outside, and train them when needed. About: I've had various pets my entire life and been pet sitting/walking for over 25 years! I have experience with any species from hamsters, lizards, and bunnies, to cats and dogs, as well as livestock! My family raises and competes with oxen in the Northeast, and until recently moving south I cared for large animals (horses, cattle, goats, etc) as a side gig as well. There isn't an animal out there that I'm unwilling to work with! I love to care for and work with dogs. I'm happy to do regularly scheduled walks/hikes, or help out as needed. I don't have any official training certification but I do have a background in behavior analysis that has proven helpful when working with and training pets and farm animals. (References available on request) My schedule is very flexible for drop-ins and overnight stays on a first come, first serve basis. I will come to your pet's home where they are most comfortable. Offering pet care services in your home, I follow the typical routine you and your pets have already established. They will keep their routine and not go through any traumatic transitions. The best part? Your fur baby is there when you get home. Your home will also have that "lived in" look. Mail will be picked up, plants watered, lights will be switched on and off, trash rolled to the curb, and any house issues that arise can be addressed. Especially for overnight or vacation services, I would love the chance to meet you and your pet(s) in your home ahead of time. I always encourage new clients to schedule a (free) 30-minute meet-and-greet before the first booking (either at your home or a public location) so that I can meet your pet(s). If I am doing a sitting or drop-in, then these are perfect for showing me where the food supplies are as well as bowls, litter box(es), and anything else that may be needed for the booking I send daily updates while you are away so your vacation is worry free. I am looking to establish a regular client base and consider pets as part of the family.

About: Growing up my family always had at least one or more pets of various breeds so I have 20+ years of experience around animals. I have cared for dogs, cats, fish, lizards, rabbits, goats, and hedgehogs. Personally, my husband & I have 2 dogs currently, 9 & 10 years old, one having epilepsy & is dependent on medication. I have helped raise/care for/train puppies, kittens, baby rabbits, & baby goats. The only pet I'm not comfortable with is snakes, my little sister has one but I only look at it from 3ft away in its enclosure, haha. I work part time Tu/W/Th 8A - 5P, I do not mind caring for pets those days, however I will be gone all day. Otherwise, I'm available for your pets needs! My personal routine with my pets: My husband helps me care for our pets daily but his schedule is a bit different than mine, so our dogs are let out at least within 4-6 hours those days. Otherwise, we let them out every 2-4 depending on their needs (which they have been trained to lets us know if they need to go sooner). Our medical dog is on a 12 hr medication schedule. I'd prefer to care in my clients home due to one of my dogs having a reactive past, it was quite a transition when we inherited our other dog. If you have a specific routine, I'm ready to follow it to the T! I'm comfortable walking dogs on leash, hanging out/playing with them in a fenced yard, or just chilling inside. As mentioned, I have experience with medically dependent pets. I have an escape artist, so I'm always vigilant of their proximity to me and prepared to run/chase in the event something happens. I can stay at the home with the pets or I can visit throughout the day!
