About: I have worked at a boarding kennel for 5 years and an animal shelter for 2 years. I have a range of knowledge about different breeds, sizes, behaviors, etc. and have had much practice with my own dogs and cats as well. I am an animal lover and have also owned rabbits, lizards, and fish. I am very familiar with different types of animals and the care that is needed. I treat every dog and client with respect and can provide a very entertaining environment for your furry friend. I am very familiar with giving medications and special needs dogs as well as puppies. I hope to be able to become friends with your pet and give them lots of love and affection! I currently have an open schedule and am available on majority of all the days of the week and am fairly flexible. I can come by and stay over when needed I am willing to provide long walks or take the dog out to walk at a park. I am good about staying on a schedule to be able to provide the best quality care and routine. Your pet will get showered in love and plenty of playtime.

I am currently transitioning from a 13 year Nanny position into my dream job of caring for animals full time. (References available on request) My schedule is very flexible for drop-ins and overnight stays on a first come, first serve basis. I will come to your pet's home where they are most comfortable. Offering pet care services in your home, I follow the typical routine you and your pets have already established. They will keep their routine and not go through any traumatic transitions. The best part? Your fur baby is there when you get home. Your home will also have that "lived in" look. Mail will be picked up, plants watered, lights will be switched on and off, trash rolled to the curb, and any house issues that arise can be addressed. Especially for overnight or vacation services, I would love the chance to meet you and your pet(s) in your home ahead of time. I always encourage new clients to schedule a (free) 30-minute meet-and-greet before the first booking (either at your home or a public location) so that I can meet your pet(s). If I am doing a sitting or drop-in, then these are perfect for showing me where the food supplies are as well as bowls, litter box(es), and anything else that may be needed for the booking I send daily updates while you are away so your vacation is worry free. I am looking to establish a regular client base and consider pets as part of the family.

About: I'm the owner of Powhatan Paws Pet Sitting and have 5-star reviews and very happy customers. I love working with animals and will love them. I own a home pet-sitting business and will have kennel assistants working at my facility while I schedule and visit dogs I plan to walk. I will enter the pet owner's home and give the dog time to greet me. Then harness the dog and head outside with the main focus of doing their business. Pick up poop in a poop bag and dispose of it in the owner's can. When the dog goes potty, I always give a small treat. The walk will be for 30 minutes or a bit longer if the dog doesn't poop. When we get back home, the harness will be put back where it came from, and the dog will get a hug, kiss and a treat.

About: Hello! I've had dogs my entire life! I love dogs and have two of my own. Lolo is an 8-year-old, blind Cocker Spaniel. Roo is a 4-year-old, Maltese/Lhasa Apso mix. I've raised my dogs since they were puppies. My house is kid and dog-friendly. My dogs lay on the couch and sleep with me. I have a fenced backyard and supervise my dogs outside. My two sons are 14 and 11. They live with me half of the week and love to host friends' dogs. When they are gone, I appreciate the companionship of furry friends. I don't go out at night so your pet will have lots of evening attention. I live in a safe neighborhood with an easy, low-traffic walking route. I understand how important it is to have a trusted person watch my pets when I'm away and will be happy to love on yours. I am a school counselor in Henrico County and have the summers off contract. I am available for boarding and pet walking 7 days per week from 6/1 to 8/10. I have a fenced-back yard and two dogs of my own. If your dog is timid, I can keep the dogs separated. If your dog loves furry company, it can join our crew throughout the house. My dogs sleep in my bedroom and I'm not opposed to dogs in my bed. About: I've been around animals since before I could walk, and have always had a way with them. My family and I lived in a trailer park when I was little. My mother always said from the moment I was born the animals flocked to me and there was no animal I couldn't get my hands on. My sister and I used to play with the stray cats outside of Grandpa's house. Pop would always mention how the cat we were holding would never let anyone close enough. Mom would often find "miss kitty in my crib with me. As I got older miss kitty passed away, but had left behind some kittens in her stead. Mom had decided to keep one and named him pudgy. He was a long hair black cat with the tiniest bit of white on his underbelly. I can remember running up and down the hallway and tap my shoulder as if trying to play tag with my sister and I. Pudgy and I had been the best of friends for about 18 years, till his passing. During the years he and I were together, he would often come running anytime he heard me sniffle or begin to cry. There were many other animals that we had over the years as well. Dogs, chickens, goats, rabbits, rodents, amphibians, horses they've been a vital part of my life. But no matter what I always come back to many best friend and the furry felines. If you're looking for a caring, detail oriented, and experienced fur sitter/walker, look no further. From feathered birds no bigger than your hand, to strong horses, I've handled just about anything. While I am new to this app, I am no stranger to animals.
