Dog Walkers in Clayville, VA

About: I've had various pets my entire life and been pet sitting/walking for over 25 years! I have experience with any species from hamsters, lizards, and bunnies, to cats and dogs, as well as livestock! My family raises and competes with oxen in the Northeast, and until recently moving south I cared for large animals (horses, cattle, goats, etc) as a side gig as well. There isn't an animal out there that I'm unwilling to work with! I love to care for and work with dogs. I'm happy to do regularly scheduled walks/hikes, or help out as needed. I don't have any official training certification but I do have a background in behavior analysis that has proven helpful when working with and training pets and farm animals. I'm available weekdays mostly during the day but have plenty of flexibility overall. Also available most weekends! Message me with your needs and I can check my schedule for availability. I have a German Shepherd and a Staffordshire Terrier. Although they love to play, due to their size and intensity of play, I'm not doing any care in my home at this time. If I establish a relationship with a client and know their pet well enough to know if it's a good fit, we can discuss the possibility of care in my home. I am willing to do care for small animals in cages in my home (hamster, bearded dragon, etc) In a client's home, I will follow whatever individual preferences they have!

About: I have two cats and two dogs myself and have been dog sitting since 14 years old. I love going on walks and love to be able to take a buddy with me! I appreciate her reaching out to me right away to let me know, and to also reassure me that neither dog (or she fortunately) was injured. She cleaned up the mess thoroughly, which was necessary to prevent injuries but also above and beyond. I also appreciate her continued patience with my two young and dogs. I know they are A LOT when she opens the front door. I'm really pleased to have found Breanna to take my dogs for recurring walks while I'm working. About: My previous experience in pet care includes employment at Holiday Barn Pet Resorts as a pet care associate, volunteering at Richmond Animal League, and pet sitting for a wide variety of animals. Pet sitting for pets around my neighborhood was my first job! Growing up with pets of my own my whole life has also allowed me to become accustomed to caring for animals of all different sizes, ages, and temperaments. As a college student on summer break, I am opening my schedule up through mid-August and plan to fill my days/weeks with pet care services! About: Growing up with both cats and dogs gave me the experience I need to take care of a wide variety of critters. My favorite is my mini dachshund, Chipper, who I raised and trained myself from a young age. About: I’ve grown up with animals my whole life and have had hands on experience with small, medium, and large dogs as well as puppies to seniors. I’ve been around dogs that are very calm and dogs that “don’t usually like people” and have been able to have them warm up to me. I’m comfortable with feeding schedules, administering oral medication, and providing exercise and play. I currently have a lot of free time which allows me to be more flexible in caring for your pets and making sure they receive consistent attention, walks, feeding, and playtime. When caring for pets I prioritize keeping their normal routines to reduce stress. I follow feeding schedules closely, provide walks and playtime based on their energy levels. I pay close attention to behaviors and behaviors changes and ensure doors, gates, and leases are secure for safety. I also can send photo updates to owners while they’re away.

About: I have always loved animals since I was a little girl, and I am always looking for ways to spend more time with them in my freetime. I am a college student home for the summer available 7 days a week! I have a job during the day from about 10am 4 pm, but can visit before and after and during the late nights. I spend a lot of time with my dog Reese, and would always respect the homes of my clients and make sure they are comfortable.
