“Lucky was great with my baby, Stana. We were able to schedule a meet and greet very quickly, and they were very welcoming. They answered any and all questions I had, and explained in detail the daily routine that Stana would he on while with them. Everyday I got updates through text and photos on how she was doing. I highly recommend them to anyone looking for a dog sitter.”

“Paula was so great for Apollo! He was able to run around and get cuddle time. She was super accommodating and understanding (we were running quite behind) Many thanks for taking care of our boy!”

“Maggie was absolutely amazing with Rex this weekend! From the very beginning, she was professional and organized, even taking the time to do a meet-and-greet beforehand, which gave us so much peace of mind. Throughout his stay, she kept us updated with great communication and sent plenty of photos, which we really appreciated. Rex came home happy, clean, and clearly well cared for. It was obvious he received lots of love and attention while he was with her. Maggie was truly a pleasure to work with, and I couldn’t have asked for a better experience. I would recommend her 1,000,000% to anyone looking for someone trustworthy, caring, and professional to watch their pet. We will absolutely be using her again! 🐾❤️”
“This was our first-time using Miranda and she made us feel comfortable from the very start. We started with a pre-stay meet and greet to make sure our dogs got along, and everything went perfectly. Miranda did an awesome job with Draco from the time we dropped him off until the time we picked him up. She sent us many videos and pics and in all of them he looked super happy. It really seemed that he had acclimated and became a part of her family, and they treated him as such. He also really enjoyed playing with their son and their beautiful chocolate lab. We will definitely be using her again in the near future. Draco looked like he was having such a great time in all the pictures and videos, and we were worried that he wouldn't want to come back home to us LOL.”

“Cindy, simply put, is amazing. She was attentive, kind, communicative, and full of love. My dog is normally rather anxious, and Cindy understood that and made sure my dog and I were both at ease. You can tell Cindy has a real passion for dogs, this isn’t just something she does. She has a heart and a passion for four legged babies, and I love it. I don’t have enough good things to say about, Cindy.”

She sent great pics of them each day so I could see all the love and attention they were getting. Kim was also kind enough to handle mail and packages, and even left us a lovely welcome home treat. We’ve had mixed experiences with others in the past and it’s comforting to find someone who treats your pets and home so thoughtfully. So glad we found her!”

About: I have been caring for cats my entire life and have pretty much seen it all. Behavioral challenges, multi-cat dynamics, chronic conditions, oral medications, working with cat behavioralists. Thirty years of the real stuff. I have a particular soft spot for senior cats. I understand their needs, I am patient with their quirks, and I take their comfort seriously. I also know exactly how you feel when you are trying to figure out what to do with your cat while you are away. I have asked myself the same questions. Boarding feels wrong and they come home with upper respiratory infections. Leaving them alone also doesn't feel great. What cats really need is to stay home, in their space, with someone who actually gets them dropping in to give them some care. That is what I try to be. I am sensitive to how stressed cats can get when their people are gone, and I am equally aware that a stranger coming in can add to that. I go at their pace. I read the room and animals tend to warm up to me pretty quickly. Your cat will be safe, comfortable, and loved while you are gone. And I will make sure you get plenty of happy pictures to smile at while you are away.
About: I grew up in our farm owning & taking care of all kinds of animals. Fostered cats/dogs with Humane Societies in different states before we finally settled after military life. Growing up on a farm surrounded by animals, I’ve developed strong intuition to sense pets' unique needs; if they are feeling sick, anxious, etc. I can follow with your pet’s medical needs/routine. I’m home all day except for quick errands hence pets under my care get lots of human interactions, cuddles & play time. Frequent potty breaks. I believe in holistic lifestyle hence I use pet friendly; no harsh chemical cleaning supplies. Hygiene is super important to me. Old habits from my hospital volunteering days + I’m a clean freak as per my family 😆 I'm a homemaker. I enjoy taking care of my indoor plants, garden, and our mini goldendoodle Hazel. I'm home majority of the day; hence your fur babies will get to have lots of cuddles, love, and playtime in our big fenced in yard. We have lovely, clean & spacious home; hence pups get to have a lot of space/freedom to roam. Or retrieve if they want some space. No choking hazard toys. I love taking pictures, videos & update with your precious pooch. You can FaceTime your pets if it’s extended stay or as per need. I love making pets stay as comfortable as possible & giving peace of mind to owners. As a pet owner myself, I know how much small things matter! I've a huge fenced in yard, Hazel, our super friendly mini golden doodle would give a company to any dog & make them feel comfortable. Lots of play, cuddles & free to roam. However, I've an ability to gate off the rooms if it's needed, or as per request. I live near the lake & take my dog to daily AM/PM walks. As a pet owner, I know the anxiety of trying to find a safe home to fur babies, someone who'd love/care for them as their own.
“Stephanie had such wonderful communication and my cat was extremely safe and comfortable. Well recommended and will definitely use her services again. Thanks for the extra treats”

About: I started pet sitting in highschool and now have over 10 years of experience, and I love all animals. I’ve always wanted a cat but due to parents allergies, I never had one of my own, but they didn’t stop me from enjoying and loving the neighborhood and family/friends cats. I have experience in feeding, medications, cleaning litterbox, and enjoy also playing with the cats while I watch them. I’m very big on reading a pets energy in order to make sure that the animals I am watching are happy and comfortable while they are in my care

“My Maltipoo Macie loves to go to Josephine’s house, even for just a couple of days a week. She is so happy when I take her in the car and say she are going to see Jo Jo. Josephine is so good with her, taking her for walks, allowing her to explore her home and making her feel like a part of the family. I’m so thankful to have found such a kind, caring person to watch my dog while I’m at work.”

“They are so caring and patient. My dog can be shy around unknown people and environments and they took the extra mile to let her ease in and get comfortable. Loved receiving all the pictures and videos of her stay. Can't wait for our next visit! Thank you so much for your care.”

“Lori was remarkably kind & caring towards my 2 fur babies. She communicated effectively & sent me photos during their stay with her. She made sure that my pups were taken care of the way we do at home, which put my mind at ease. Sammy & Sylvie are looking forward to staying with Lori & playing with Ash again soon!”

About: I don’t have a lot of professional experience yet, but I truly love animals and take care of them with patience and responsibility. Friends and neighbors have trusted me with their pets, and I always make sure they feel safe, comfortable, and happy. I can take everyday if it’s at my house or it’s staying at my house over night! If I have to go somewhere or someone’s house so on the weekends
“Adam and Beau is a match made in heaven! Beau apparently played it cool during his visit; he had “checked out” Adam’s home on our initial visit and settled in pretty easily during his longer stay.”
About: I’ve always had dogs and cats since I was a kiddo. Currently we have two spoiled dogs and two sweet cats. I take my two dogs on a mile or two walk every day. I started my own pet sitting business in my 20’s after working for a small pet company. I also was working FT with adults with disabilities. I have cared for a wide variety of animals even giving a diabetic cat shots and caring for a blind and a deaf dog. I’ve also had the opportunity to take care of rabbits, birds and even a very social ferret. Once I became busy raising my own family, I stopped working FT but continued watching friends’ and neighbors’ animals on the side. I’m the type of person who stops to pet other people’s dogs when I’m out on a walk. ❤️ My husband and I have 5 kids, two of which live at home. I’m also a grandma with a second baby otw! As a family we’ve always had cats and dogs as well as guinea pigs, gerbils, turtle and a lizard. I’m currently working very part-time so have lots of time to love on your animals. I’m available most days and on the weekends as well. I’d love to walk your dogs and/or play with them in your backyard and hang out with them while you’re away. I also would love to give your kitties lots of attention.

About: I’ve cared for dogs and cats my entire life. I am looking forward to opportunities to care for your dog(s) or cat(s) while you are away and love them like they were my own. I have a fenced in yard and live in a wonderful neighborhood with lots of walking trails. I have three children, ages 10, 12, and 14 that grew up with dogs and learned how to be loving and respectful to animals. I’m a high school teacher so I’m able to be home during the summer and school holidays. My routine includes a morning, afternoon and an evening walk after dinner. The fenced backyard provides opportunities for exercise outside of walks. I follow your pets normal feeding schedule and will only provide the food and treats that you provide to avoid any allergy or food intolerance concerns. On school days, my husband is typically working from home so there is usually someone home without long periods of being left home alone. Pets are cared for as part of the family and receive lots of love and attention.
“Eddie had a blast with Cindy!! She sent us so many pictures and updates that made us able to enjoy our time away from him and know he was being well loved. She was very accommodating with pick up and drop off as well. We can’t wait to use her again!”

About: Hi! My husband and I have both had dogs since we were young kids. We currently have a senior dog (female) and a puppy (male 11months). Both are Australian shepherds. We also have two kids (6 and 8). We have a lot of experience with dogs of all ages and needs. :) We have a fenced in yard and our puppy would love someone to play with during the day. I am home with my kids pretty much all summer, so I’m available most of the day. Dogs will need to be good with other dogs and young children as well as spayed/neutered. We have a puppy, so I am in and out all day to take him outside and play with him. I am also home with my kids all summer, so we are at home a lot! I have a fenced in yard and two friendly dogs to keep your pup company. They are both crate trained, although our senior dog is left out when we leave. I have an extra small crate (or you can bring one). We love dogs and would treat yours like our own.

From dogs, cats, and even horses, I have kept animals safe and happy. During visits I can take pets on walks, play with them, administer medicine, and provide proper clean up! I am currently home from college right now, so I have a lot of free time! For me, pet care will be a priority this summer. I’m available at all hours during the day, aside from a couple of weeks this summer where I will be out of town! I will have plenty of time to keep your pets happy! In your home, I will ensure your pets are consistently in a safe environment. I will remove any hazards in your pet’s space, ensure leashes/harnesses are intact before walks, properly lock doors before leaving, and I can safely crate your pet if needed.

About: I have loved animals my entire life and have had more than one family pet from the day I was born. I worked in veterinary care for a good bit of time, and I have been trusted by many families to care for their animals while they were away on trips. I am comfortable giving medicine, working on obedience, and giving more snuggles than your pup will know what to do with. My husband works from home 3-4 days a week, so your dog would have many opportunities to go outside and to be loved on. I am available Monday through Friday for lunch time check-ins and potty breaks, and I'm available for walks after 5pm Monday through Friday. We could also accommodate over-night boarding any day of the week, as long as we do not have a previously scheduled weekend away. While I do not have a fenced in yard, our family loves to be outside and take walks as much as possible through out the day. We also have our energetic 5 year old dog, Maverick, to keep your dog company through out the day and engage in play. We have ample space in our home for a crate. Our daughter also loves to throw the ball and makes sure her puppy feels loved all the time.

About: Growing up with both cats and dogs gave me the experience I need to take care of a wide variety of critters. My favorite is my mini dachshund, Chipper, who I raised and trained myself from a young age. I continue to give my little buddy high quality care 9 years later as he's battling his unfortunate health conditions. I plan on treating your pets with the same sort of love and consideration! I'm a student at JMU and I am home in Moseley, VA for the summer of 2026! I would be more than happy to work with you! My calendar has the correct dates available! I treat your pets with the same love and care I give my own. They deserve nothing but the best, and I’m dedicated to providing just that! I’ll shower your pet with affection and treat them like royalty—because they truly are.
About: Hi there! I’m Fabrizio, proud dog parent to Bruno, my 5-year-old buddy who taught me that every pup has their own personality and needs. About: Animals have been part of my life since I was little. Dogs, cats, guinea pigs, hamsters, lizards, fish. Our house was always full of them and that never really stopped. I have spent my whole life around all kinds of animals, watching them for friends and family, learning what they need, and genuinely loving every minute of it. Animals know. They know when someone is comfortable around them and they know when someone actually cares. I have always been someone they warm up to quickly because I take the time to actually see them. What makes them happy, what stresses them out, whether they want to play or just want someone nearby. I follow their lead every time. Every pet I care for gets treated like my own. I am semi-retired and my schedule is genuinely flexible. Mornings, midday, evenings, multiple visits in a day if that is what your pet needs. Pet care is not something I am squeezing in between other things. It is something I actually want to be doing. I am semi-retired and my schedule is genuinely flexible. “My Brody can be very over excited at times and Hannah seemed to be able to handle him very well. She was on time, followed all the instructions and the pictures I got were also nice to see. Will schedule again!”

About: Hello everyone! I have been pet sitting on and off for over 10 years. I started pet sitting for neighbors and friends when I was 14 and continued throughout highschool and college. Based on my own availability, I can provide day check-ins , walks, overnights, medications, and specific/special dietary needs. I work as a dental assistant and am currently taking classes to go to hygiene school. I would love to be trusted to watch your pet for you, I love animals, which is the reason I began pet sitting in the first place. I currently work as a dental assistant and am also taking classes to go to dental hygiene school in the near future. I work full time, however I have one day off every week, never work weekends, and my bosses are very easy to work with when it comes to the work schedule. I always follow the instructions given to me by the owners, and don’t stray away from those guidelines. I do walks when needed, and also spend a little bit of time with the animals to keep them company while their parents are away. I will cuddle with any pet that wants, but also give space for the ones that don’t. I’m very big on paying attention and reading an animals energy in order to make sure they are happy and comfortable, and also making sure all parties will be safe in the process as well.
About: I've had dogs since I can remember. My fiancé watched dogs in the past with rover and I would always help. Take the dogs to the park on my days off, play outside, and train them when needed. I am currently on veterans disability so I can focus my whole day to your furry friend. No worry about being stuck in all day. I have 5 acres of yard for them to play on. I have lots of space if needed, room for crates, room outside. Plenty of space so your furry friend won't feel trapped. My animals mind their own.
About: I'm the owner of Powhatan Paws Pet Sitting and have 5-star reviews and very happy customers. I love working with animals and will love them. I own a home pet-sitting business and will have kennel assistants working at my facility while I schedule and visit dogs I plan to walk. I will enter the pet owner's home and give the dog time to greet me. Then harness the dog and head outside with the main focus of doing their business. Pick up poop in a poop bag and dispose of it in the owner's can. When the dog goes potty, I always give a small treat. The walk will be for 30 minutes or a bit longer if the dog doesn't poop. When we get back home, the harness will be put back where it came from, and the dog will get a hug, kiss and a treat.

“Breanna had the unfortunate duty of cleaning up a shattered glass vase one of my dogs knocked over when Breanna arrived. I appreciate her reaching out to me right away to let me know, and to also reassure me that neither dog (or she fortunately) was injured. She cleaned up the mess thoroughly, which was necessary to prevent injuries but also above and beyond. I also appreciate her continued patience with my two young and dogs. I know they are A LOT when she opens the front door. I'm really pleased to have found Breanna to take my dogs for recurring walks while I'm working. I look forward to her developing a bond with my crazy noodleheads. Highly recommended! 🥇”

“There’s no one else I’d rather leave my newly adopted pup with! Thoughtful, kind and you’ll receive lots of pupdates to satisfy you while you’re traveling! Thanks!”

“Adam is a natural, per Cooper. We knew the moment we met him that Cooper was in good hands. Cooper took to him immediately and made himself at home. We got him back last night and Cooper was calm and happy. Thanks Adam!!!”

“Cooper has such a great time during his weekends with Cassie. He gets so much love and attention he’s hardly excited to come home. It’s a much better fit for him than any of the other boarding options we used to use.”

“Our dogs had a terrific time with Julie and her dogs. We appreciate being able to enjoy our travels knowing our pups are cared for in a loving home. We will gladly book with Julie again!”

“Dale and Cyrus had a great time with Laura, DJ, and family! Communication was very easy and we were provided photo and text updates during the stay. We could tell they were having a great time and were treated extremely well. We picked up two very happy and healthy dogs! We will definitely book again for future trips.”

“Laura had my dog nova for a week.Great with keeping you updated on your pet.Nova had a blast will definitely use Laura again. My dog was sad to go home that’s how much fun she had”

“Collleen was wonderful from first contact to drop off and pick up. Great communicator and we enjoyed seeing pictures of our dog while we were away. We will definitely use her again!”

“Alton was living his best life at Stephanie’s house! She was easy to work with, quick responses and flexible. Would love to have her watch Alton again. Thank you, Stephanie!”

“By far the best rover experience so far. Not only did Christina and her family take our dog, Truffle, last minute but they treated him like their own. With a big fenced in backyard and numerous walks around the neighborhood, Truffle had a blast. She sent consistent communications on how Truffle was doing as well as making sure her kiddos respected and knew how to handle a bigger dog. Above and beyond, would easily recommend Christina!”
“Jesse was so great with Zoey. He sent lots of photos, took her on a lot of walks and spent cuddle time with her. It’s clear he truly loves animals. We’d love for Zoey to stay with Jesse again.”

“Matt was great with our dog daisy! He sent frequent updates with lots of pictures - we could tell she was having so much fun! Will definitely book with him again.”

“My dog Neo stayed with Elizabeth for an entire week. He is an older dog with some medical issues and this was our first time using Rover. Elizabeth did a great job caring for Neo, she went above and beyond when Neo ran out of eye drops to make sure he had what he needed. She kept me posted on his experience with pictures and text messages and really set my mind at ease during my vacation. I would definitely book with Elizabeth again and highly recommend her.”

“I was extremely satisfied with the care Bentley received while with Amanda and her family. Her fur babies were very welcoming to Bentley and I felt he was happy with his new friends. To my surprise, they went on a “field trip” where they were allowed to run off leash and smell and play in a very large confined space . I worried he would not want to leave with me and leave his friends behind. I highly recommend Amanda and will definitely use her in the future!!”
