Lucky sent many pictures during our trip, showing us that he was part of Lucky's family and quite content and comfortable with the run of the house and the fenced yard. When we picked him up she carried him out like a baby! He was totally at home with her. And her husband made him a homemade treat bag to send home! We'll certainly use her again! Teddy loved it.”

About: I have been caring for cats my entire life and have pretty much seen it all. Behavioral challenges, multi-cat dynamics, chronic conditions, oral medications, working with cat behavioralists. Thirty years of the real stuff. I have a particular soft spot for senior cats. I understand their needs, I am patient with their quirks, and I take their comfort seriously. I also know exactly how you feel when you are trying to figure out what to do with your cat while you are away. I have asked myself the same questions. Boarding feels wrong and they come home with upper respiratory infections. Leaving them alone also doesn't feel great. What cats really need is to stay home, in their space, with someone who actually gets them dropping in to give them some care. That is what I try to be. I am sensitive to how stressed cats can get when their people are gone, and I am equally aware that a stranger coming in can add to that. I go at their pace. I read the room and animals tend to warm up to me pretty quickly. Your cat will be safe, comfortable, and loved while you are gone. And I will make sure you get plenty of happy pictures to smile at while you are away.
About: I've been a cat lover for as long as I can remember, having grown up with cats and spending most of my life caring for them. In 2015, I adopted my first tuxedo cat from the local SPCA because I wanted a companion in my new apartment. A few years later, I decided she deserved a companion too, so I adopted another tuxedo kitten from a rescue in North Carolina. Despite looking alike, they couldn't have more different personalities. My 18-pound boy is a lovable, goofy giant who doesn't know how big he is. Every night he waits in my bed to cuddle with me, while my tiny 4-pound senior girl is independent, opinionated, and happily reminds him who's in charge. Living with two very different cats has taught me that every cat has its own personality, routine, and comfort level. About: I’ve always had dogs and cats since I was a kiddo. Currently we have two spoiled dogs and two sweet cats. I take my two dogs on a mile or two walk every day. I started my own pet sitting business in my 20’s after working for a small pet company. I also was working FT with adults with disabilities. I have cared for a wide variety of animals even giving a diabetic cat shots and caring for a blind and a deaf dog. I’m a high school teacher so I’m able to be home during the summer and school holidays. My routine includes a morning, afternoon and an evening walk after dinner. The fenced backyard provides opportunities for exercise outside of walks. I follow your pets normal feeding schedule and will only provide the food and treats that you provide to avoid any allergy or food intolerance concerns. On school days, my husband is typically working from home so there is usually someone home without long periods of being left home alone. About: Hi! My husband and I have both had dogs since we were young kids. We currently have a senior dog (female) and a puppy (male 11months). Both are Australian shepherds. About: I have loved animals my entire life and have had more than one family pet from the day I was born. I worked in veterinary care for a good bit of time, and I have been trusted by many families to care for their animals while they were away on trips. I am comfortable giving medicine, working on obedience, and giving more snuggles than your pup will know what to do with. My husband works from home 3-4 days a week, so your dog would have many opportunities to go outside and to be loved on. I am available Monday through Friday for lunch time check-ins and potty breaks, and I'm available for walks after 5pm Monday through Friday. We could also accommodate over-night boarding any day of the week, as long as we do not have a previously scheduled weekend away. While I do not have a fenced in yard, our family loves to be outside and take walks as much as possible through out the day. We also have our energetic 5 year old dog, Maverick, to keep your dog company through out the day and engage in play. We have ample space in our home for a crate. Our daughter also loves to throw the ball and makes sure her puppy feels loved all the time.

About: Hi! I am ready to walk and spend the day with your pups or check in on your kitty’s! I have a 4 year old chocolate lab and 10 year old dachshund of my own! I have years of experiencing with animals. I am currently enrolled in vet tech school! I am available Monday-Friday from 8am-5pm. I am in the Brandermill area but willing to travel 30 minutes. I can spend all the time you need to make your pup happy! I do what the owners ask me to do. I will go an extra mile to make sure doggies are happy and comfortable with me.

“I've have nothing but good to say about Teddy's stay with Lucky B. We had never boarded put little guy before and were a little apprehensive about it. Lucky sent many pictures during our trip, showing us that he was part of Lucky's family and quite content and comfortable with the run of the house and the fenced yard. When we picked him up she carried him out like a baby! He was totally at home with her. And her husband made him a homemade treat bag to send home! We'll certainly use her again! Teddy loved it.”
