About: I've been providing loving and dependable dog boarding care for over years, and caring for dogs has truly become a part of my family life. My goal is to provide a safe, comfortable, and welcoming environment where every pup can feel at home while their family is away. I have experience caring for dogs of all sizes and life stages from small breeds to giant breeds, energetic puppies to senior dogs who may need a little extra patience and attention. I understand that every dog has their own personality, routine, and individual needs, so we take the time to provide personalized care for each pup. I am also comfortable following detailed care instructions, including administering oral medications, injections, supplements, and special feeding routines, as directed by pet parents and their veterinarian. I also have experience providing palliative and comfort-focused care for senior dogs or dogs with additional needs. After more than years in the dog boarding world, I still genuinely love what I do and look forward to continuing to provide pups with plenty of love, attention, playtime, comfort, and care while they’re away from home. 🐾❤️ Pet care is a big part of our everyday routine. Since I provide care from home, I am able to spend plenty of time with the dogs throughout the day and give them the attention, supervision, and companionship they need. My daily routine includes regular potty breaks, outdoor playtime, feeding according to each dog’s schedule, medication when needed, rest periods, and lots of love and attention. I also make sure each pup has time to settle in, relax, and feel comfortable in their new environment. I keep my schedule flexible because every dog is different. Whether I am caring for an energetic puppy, an adult dog who loves to play, or a senior pup who prefers a slower and quieter routine, I adjust my day to meet their individual needs. 🐾 Safety, comfort, and trust are always my top priorities. In my home, I provide a clean, secure, and welcoming environment where dogs can relax, play, and feel like part of the family. My home has a fully enclosed 6-foot vinyl privacy fence, giving our guests a secure outdoor space for supervised potty breaks, fresh air, exercise, and playtime. I also keep fresh, clean water bowls available outside during playtime and outdoor time, so our pups always have easy access to water and can stay hydrated, especially during warmer days. I carefully follow each pet parent’s instructions regarding feeding, medications, supplements, potty routines, sleeping arrangements, and any special needs or restrictions. I supervise interactions and take the time to understand each dog’s personality, behavior, and comfort level. Dogs are separated when needed for meals, rest, safety, or simply when they need their own personal space. I pay close attention to changes in appetite, energy, bathroom habits, or behavior and communicate with pet parents if I notice anything concerning. With over years of boarding experience, I understand how important it is to trust the people caring for your dog. I treat every pup with patience, respect, affection, and individualized care, with the goal of making their stay feel safe, comfortable, and as close to home as possible. 🐾

“Laura and her family were great. She sent daily updates, responded quickly, and was able to work with our schedule. Brady looked happy and well cared for. Would definitely board with her again!”

“First time using Rover but wanted to have more of a home feel for my puppies first time being boarded. Miranda was really nice and provided pics and videos of my puppy during his stay. Miranda will also be keeping Miles when I go on vacation in March for a longer period of time, but trust he will be in good hands.”

“Frank had such a great time with Amanda! She was incredibly communicative throughout his stay and kept us updated with lots of photos and videos, which we really appreciated. It was so nice being able to see how happy and comfortable he was while we were away. Frank clearly loved his time with her and, honestly, didn’t want to leave when it was time to come home! Amanda took great care of him, and we would absolutely recommend her to anyone looking for a caring and reliable sitter. We will definitely be booking with Amanda again!”

We also appreciate the timely updates and communication. Thank you Ms. Abby!! We appreciate you!”

“By far the best rover experience so far. Not only did Christina and her family take our dog, Truffle, last minute but they treated him like their own. With a big fenced in backyard and numerous walks around the neighborhood, Truffle had a blast. She sent consistent communications on how Truffle was doing as well as making sure her kiddos respected and knew how to handle a bigger dog. Above and beyond, would easily recommend Christina!”

About: Lifelong Pet Lover with Years of Experience Hi, I’ve been around pets my entire life, and caring for them comes naturally to me. I started walking and feeding my family dogs at just 7 years old, twice a day, making sure they had plenty of playtime and fresh air in our grassy yard. From playful puppies to gentle giants, I’ve handled dogs of all sizes and temperaments. I’m confident with potty training and establishing healthy routines for any breed. Since I was 15, I’ve also cared for cats, both my family’s and my friends’. I keep litter boxes clean and ensure they stay off surfaces where they might break or damage anything, all while making sure they feel safe and cared for. Whether it’s a long walk, a cozy cuddle, or responsible in-home care, I treat every pet like they’re part of my own family. I’d love the chance to care for your furry friend. I have a flexible schedule and plenty of time throughout the week to give your pet the attention, exercise, and care they deserve. Whether it’s a morning walk, midday drop-in, or overnight stay, I’m available and committed to working around your needs. Your pet will never feel rushed or overlooked, they’ll have my full attention and care. Comfortable, Spacious, and Pet-Friendly Home Your pet will feel right at home here. I have a large backyard and a spacious home with plenty of room for dogs to play, explore, and relax. While the yard is not fenced, I always supervise outdoor time to ensure pets stay safe and secure. If you use training tools like an e-collar and provide them, I’m happy to use them responsibly and only according to your guidance. My goal is to make every pet feel safe, comfortable, and cared for, just like family.

I'm flexible. We do like to travel so I may not always be around but when I am, I'm happy to help. We have had several dogs through the years, big, medium and small. Love them all. I'm big into running and getting outdoors so I'm happy to take you pups for long walks or even a short jog. We also have a house full of other animals including fish, turtles and previously birds. About: Pet-Friendly Family Ready for Wagging Tails. Think of me as your dog's favorite aunt! I'm not a dog owners yet—not because I don't want to be, but because I am waiting for the right time. In the meantime, I love welcoming dogs into our home and giving them all the love, care, and attention they deserve. When your pup stays with me, they'll be treated like family, so you can relax knowing they're happy, safe, and surrounded by people who genuinely love having them here. I have a fenced yard and have space to enjoy the visit of your dog. I'm available, let's talk and plan together the visit.
About: I’ve always had dogs and cats since I was a kiddo. Currently we have two spoiled dogs and two sweet cats. I take my two dogs on a mile or two walk every day. I started my own pet sitting business in my 20’s after working for a small pet company. I also was working FT with adults with disabilities. I have cared for a wide variety of animals even giving a diabetic cat shots and caring for a blind and a deaf dog. I’ve also had the opportunity to take care of rabbits, birds and even a very social ferret. Once I became busy raising my own family, I stopped working FT but continued watching friends’ and neighbors’ animals on the side. I’m the type of person who stops to pet other people’s dogs when I’m out on a walk. ❤️ My husband and I have 5 kids, two of which live at home. I’m also a grandma with a second baby otw! As a family we’ve always had cats and dogs as well as guinea pigs, gerbils, turtle and a lizard. I’m currently working very part-time so have lots of time to love on your animals. I’m available most days and on the weekends as well. I’d love to walk your dogs and/or play with them in your backyard and hang out with them while you’re away. I also would love to give your kitties lots of attention.
About: Quality over quantity; that’s how we approach pet care. We’re a mother-daughter team with more than 20 years of experience loving and caring for dogs, and we prefer to welcome one family’s dogs at a time so every pup receives the personalized attention they deserve. I’m Loni, a retired kindergarten teacher and lifelong dog lover, and my daughter Jayla is a pre-med college student. Together, we bring patience, attentiveness, compassion, and lots of love to every stay. Over the years, we’ve cared for dogs of all ages, personalities, and needs—from high-energy puppies to seniors requiring a gentler pace. We’re comfortable administering medications, maintaining feeding and medication schedules, reinforcing basic routines, and providing extra patience and attention to dogs with special needs. Our experience includes caring for both blind and deaf dogs. After loving three dogs of our own who have since passed, our home has become much quieter. As an empty nester, I now have the time, flexibility, and plenty of love to give your fur baby. They aren't just boarding with us; they become part of our family while they're here. Our guests enjoy a peaceful, non-smoking home, a large fenced backyard, plenty of companionship, couch cuddles, playtime, walks, and lots of individual attention. Someone is home much of the day, so your pup won't routinely spend long stretches alone. And expect pictures! We love keeping pet parents updated so you can enjoy your time away knowing your baby is safe, comfortable, and loved. Fewer dogs. More attention. Lots of love. ❤️ Pet care fits naturally into our lives. I’m a retired kindergarten teacher and empty nester, which gives me a flexible schedule and allows me to be home much of the day. That means plenty of time for potty breaks, backyard play, walks, meals, medications, naps—and, of course, cuddles. My daughter Jayla is a pre-med college student and joins me in caring for our guests when she’s home. Our mother-daughter partnership combines my flexible retired lifestyle and years of caregiving experience with Jayla’s energy, attentiveness, and love of animals. Because we focus on quality over quantity and prefer to care for one family’s dogs at a time, we can adapt our day around your pup’s normal routine rather than expecting them to adapt to ours. Whether your dog wants to play outside, follow me around the house, nap beside me, or curl up on the couch, there’s usually someone nearby to keep them company. Your dog’s safety and comfort come first. Our peaceful, non-smoking home features a large, fully fenced backyard and doggie door, giving pups plenty of opportunities for fresh air, potty breaks, and backyard play—with supervision tailored to each dog's needs. We prefer to host one family’s dogs at a time, creating a calmer environment without a revolving door of unfamiliar boarding dogs. This also allows us to learn your pup’s personality and give them more individualized attention. We follow your instructions closely and do our best to maintain the routines your dog knows at home; including meals, medications, potty breaks, sleep schedules, walks, playtime, and downtime. We have experience caring for puppies, seniors, dogs requiring medication, and special-needs dogs, including blind and deaf pups. Inside, dogs are treated like family. If they're allowed on your furniture at home, they're welcome to cuddle with us on ours. You're also encouraged to bring their favorite bed, blanket, toys, crate, or anything else that helps our home feel familiar. We believe trust extends to pet parents, too, so we'll communicate with you and send photos and updates throughout their stay.
“Morgan was FANTASTIC in every way! This was the first time our Lab puppy was left alone for more than (2) nights and Morgan created a wonderful experience for both Tilly and our family. She emailed me daily updates and photos of our pup, always checked in with us and treated Tilly like a member of your family. Morgan, I can't thank you enough for loving Tilly and keeping her safe and happy when we were gone.”

“Paula was wonderful! We were visiting from out of town and she took our booking even though it was short notice. Our dog had a great experience and Paula was responsive and kind.”

About: I have cared for/worked with 1,000s of dogs over 10+ years across all breeds, ages, and behavioral issues. I managed a dog facility for several years, have worked in multiple other dog facilities. I have taken K9 CPR/First Aid and very knowledgeable on K9 behavior and physical well being. I have trained 100s of dogs in my lifetime. Your dog could not be in better hands. :) I stay home full time so your pet would have 100% of my time and attention! I can be flexible to you and your pets needs! I have very friendly dogs to keep your pup company! If your dog isn’t much of a playful type - that’s okay too! My dogs do not harass and have great social manners. I have a crate I can offer at your request and I am very experienced with dog safety and K9 cpr. When going on walks I ALWAYS check the dogs collar and leash before leaving the house to be sure everything is appropriately secure. I always make sure I watch any dogs before I open doors to be sure no one runs out! My experience with K9 behavior allows me to catch a bad thing before it happens!
About: I have had my own dogs since my early 20’s, and I’d probably have about ten more if I could. Everyone in our family has dogs, ranging from tiny Yorkipoos to big ol’ lab mixes, and I love them all! I currently have one rescue pup, Russell, who is 19 different breeds! I am patient, I don’t get grossed out easily, and I will love your pup like it’s a member of the family. My husband and I are both teachers, so we are home full-time during the summer with our two teenage kids. During the school year we work, but I’m usually home by 3:30. Our 13-year old daughter is interested in pursuing a career working with animals, so she will be assisting in the care of your pet. We have a large fenced yard and a dog-friendly house. We even have a doggie door for pups to come and go outside to the back yard as they need or want to. We have one 5-year old dog who gets along great with other pups. Usually when we dog sit, we have the visiting pup have a home base in our daughter’s room where they can be fed separately, have peace and quiet, and enjoy the best air conditioning in the house! We are a dogs on furniture house, and she even loves to let the dogs we are sitting sleep in her bed with her if they want. Your dog should expect many pets and snuggles at our house! If we are coming to your house, we will follow whatever routines and rules you’ve established for your pet. But still expect lots of love for your pet!
“My dog loved going to Cindy’s for day care. I can tell because he always runs into her house when we get there. Cindy was great, sent lots of pics and actually got him to eat his food. Lots of other dogs to play with too. I felt at ease while I was at work knowing that he was taken care of! Look forward to sending him there again.”

“Excellent doggy daycare! Rachel is friendly, attentive, and treats every dog like family. My dog loves coming here and I appreciate the updates and great care. Highly recommend!”

About: I'm a cat mom to three rescues, including one with a chronic heart condition and asthma, requiring ongoing inhaler treatments and other medication. I'm also experienced caring for senior pets, and pets with special health needs or general anxiety. Every pet I care for gets spoiled like my own. Animals know when someone is comfortable around them and when someone actually cares. I take the time to get to know them, see what makes them happy, what stresses them out, whether they want to play or just want someone nearby for companionship. I'm available mornings, for mid-day walks or playtime, and evenings, and can do multiple visits a day if your pet needs it. With 30 years caring for pets, including seniors and pets with special health needs, I know consistency matters, so you can count on me showing up when I say I will. I always offer new clients a free 30-minute meet-and-greet before the first booking, either at your home or a public location, so I can meet your pet(s) in person. This is the perfect time to show me where everything lives: food, bowls, litter boxes, and anything else I'll need for the visit. While you're away, I'll send daily updates and photos so you can relax and enjoy your trip worry free. My focus is on keeping your pet safe and secure while I am caring for your pet in your home. I make sure doors and gates are secure before I leave, and I do a check for anything out that could be dangerous to your pet. I follow feeding and medication instructions exactly as given, no guesswork, and keep things as close to your pet's normal routine as possible, especially for seniors or pets with special health needs.
About: Growing up with both cats and dogs gave me the experience I need to take care of a wide variety of critters. My favorite is my mini dachshund, Chipper, who I raised and trained myself from a young age. I continue to give my little buddy high quality care 9 years later as he's battling his unfortunate health conditions. I plan on treating your pets with the same sort of love and consideration! I'm a student at JMU and I am home in Moseley, VA for the summer of 2026! I would be more than happy to work with you! My calendar has the correct dates available! I treat your pets with the same love and care I give my own. They deserve nothing but the best, and I’m dedicated to providing just that! I’ll shower your pet with affection and treat them like royalty—because they truly are.
About: With a lifetime of experience caring for animals, I bring both reliability and genuine care to every pet I look after. I currently have two rescue tuxedo cats (one with only one eye and nearly blind) and a well-loved flock of 25 chickens, and I’ve spent the past five years dog sitting for friends and neighbors after many years of owning dogs myself. I’m very comfortable with different personalities and routines. I’m attentive and genuinely enjoy all animals. I will always make your pets feel safe and cared for with walks and plenty of playtime! I just retired after a 22 year career in marketing to watch my first grandchild part time- which gives me extra hours to help you with your pet care! I am as attentive to your fur babies as I am to my own. I genuinely love spending time with all animals and will take great care of yours, too!
About: I’ve watch dogs and cats for four years when needed, from a one time visit to 2 weeks of checking in three times daily. I’ve also handled turtles and fish in the same capacity. Am happy to clean out a litter box, take a dog on a walk, or do more. Any added bookings within 24 hours of the first check in, or during visits, is subject to an additional 16$ fee. Any bookings more than a 15 mile drive may be subjected to an additional one time 20$ fee! I’m a student full time and therefore am out of the house from around 9-2 most days but am otherwise available for your pet care needs. I love to spend some extra time at a clients home giving their animal more love and affection to ensure they don’t feel lonely or abandoned.
About: I’ve been watching neighborhood and family pets since I was 13, both cats and dogs, elderly and young. I know when to give attention or whether to give them space. Hey! You can also call me Jaxon (he/him.) I’m auditioning for local theatres in Richmond, so my schedule is rather flexible. Weekends and weekdays are currently open, with room for rehearsals and show dates. I’d cater to whatever the pet needs. Some animals like to explore, so I’d supervise as they do so. Others are more reclusive, so I’d keep watch from a respectful distance.
About: I have been taking care of my own dogs since I was young and love to be around all animals! I used to nanny for a family with 5 kids and they had a wonderful dog that I always helped to care for! Feeding and taking him to the groomers and vet appointments…all things that I was lucky to get to help with! I also used to care for 2 cats (both needing to take medication) and a bull dog on a daily basis! I have a Jack Russell (that just passed away) myself that I had for about 10+ years and no kids do she was my only fur baby! I have recently in the past year gotten a brand new puppy named Sugar! She is a beagle/terrier/lab mix and 25 pounds of Adorableness! She is so sweet And absolutely my little girl, as she follows me everywhere and tries to be wherever I am, and always under foot!!! She’s a little skittish and still all puppy at eight months! So I am no stranger to puppy needs at all! I also have Bella, who is a pit/beagle mix and she is a little over a year and a half old! She is 60 pounds of crazy but happy and smart and always at my husband side! What a love bug! But remember, with pets, there is no personal space! Lol I love pets of all kinds and will care for them as if they were my own! Snuggles are free!!! I am currently a part-time private nanny, to a bunch of different families who may need care for their little ones day a week, and my schedule is always changing from week to week so my availability will always be changing. But,I will try to keep my Rover calendar up-to-date as I hope more of you reach out! The plan is is turn this into a full-time gig so I will have probably more availability as time goes on towards the end of this year, but I’m hoping to find some regular clients that will book with me on a consistent basis! Plus, I’m really looking forward to all the pet snuggles! I am always very mindful of the time for feedings and walks…any medication will be given correctly and timely…I will make sure your home is locked up after I leave from a walk and/or feeding! Please know that I will do my best to. Gain the trust of the animal! Cats too! I do highly recommend a meet & greet ahead of time so we can meet pet parents and also meet dog(s)! Let’s them see me and hopefully remember me and feel comfortable with me in their house! (*Please note: House Sitting rates apply to stays where overnight accommodations (a clean bed/space) are provided in your home. If you prefer daytime/evening visits only without overnight stays, please book via my Drop-In rates!)

Whether it’s playtime, walks, or just relaxing, I create a positive and stress-free environment where your pets are treated like my own.
About: Hi there! I’m Fabrizio, proud dog parent to Bruno, my 5-year-old buddy who taught me that every pup has their own personality and needs. Over the years I’ve also cared for the pets of friends and family — from playful puppies to older dogs that just need extra love and attention. I’m flexible, reliable, and love keeping owners updated with pics and messages. With me, every walk is an adventure and every cuddle feels like home. 🐾🐶 I work as an independent sports agent, which means most of my job is done from my phone and laptop. Because of this, I have a very flexible schedule and can easily adjust my day around walks, drop-in visits, or pet sitting. Whether it’s mornings, afternoons, evenings, or even weekends, I can usually make it work. I’m happy to discuss your pet’s routine and find the perfect times to keep them happy and cared for. Your pet’s safety is always my top priority. When I’m in your home, I respect your space and follow all instructions carefully to make sure your pets feel comfortable and secure. I treat every house as if it were my own, with responsibility and care. On walks, I’m always alert to surroundings, traffic, and other animals. I keep dogs safely leashed, avoid risky situations, and make sure they get exercise in a fun but safe way. You can trust that your pets will always be in good hands with me.
“My Brody can be very over excited at times and Hannah seemed to be able to handle him very well. She was on time, followed all the instructions and the pictures I got were also nice to see. Will schedule again!”

About: I know how to take care of animals with disabilities, my cat that I grew up with is blind and I took care of him until he passed away. I grew up around dogs and cats, my mom currently has two chihuahua mixes that I have taught some basic commands to. I also have a cat named Keke and she’s 3 years old. I can work around my schedule, I currently have a job working at cvs and am willing to move around my schedule to whatever fits best! I have a dog with anxiety and I know how to calm dogs down when they are stressed out about something and distract them away from the problem.

“Cassandra was wonderful to work with!!! I was provided multiple photos and videos a day and felt so at ease while my dog was in her care. I can’t wait for his next visit and would recommend her to anyone!”

“Paula was so great for Apollo! He was able to run around and get cuddle time. She was super accommodating and understanding (we were running quite behind) Many thanks for taking care of our boy!”

“Lara was so great to work with! She took care of our Winnie like she was part of their family and kept us updated with lots of pictures throughout her stay. We will definitely book with her again!”

“Joy and her husband are great. My dog is a senior dog 15 years old and he is not as mobile as he used to be. They are patience and understanding of his needs and always send us pictures while he is in their care. The only ones I trust with my dog”

“Maddie was absolutely amazing with our puppy! She kept us updated throughout our trip with messages and pictures, which gave us so much peace of mind. It was clear that she genuinely cared for him and treated him like her own. We came home to a happy, well-cared-for puppy, and we couldn’t have asked for a better experience. We highly recommend Maddie to anyone looking for a trustworthy and caring dog sitter, and we will definitely be booking with her again!”

“Marvin responded very quickly for a last minute request and was able to take care of my bully. He was communicative sent great pictures and gave him great walks. My guy came home happy. It was assuring to know he was still taken care of. 10/10 highly recommend”

“Big thanks to Ms. Abby! This was our first time leaving our pup for a few days. You can always tell by the dog’s demeanor, whether they were taken care of well, and just by the way, our dog said goodbye to Ms. Abby told me that he was loved and cared for well! We also appreciate the timely updates and communication. Thank you Ms. Abby!! We appreciate you!”

“Julie was a perfect hostess to our pup - Tasha enjoyed their large fenced yard and was very happy and at home, very well cared for! Julie provided pics and updates daily. We will use her again for certain.”

“Laura and her family do an excellent job with Nacho. I am comfortable leaving him in their care as I know they will treat him no different than as a member of their family. I'm sure he misses us, but he also looks forward to boarding at their house so I am not worried at all that he will be homesick.”
