“This is the second time we have booked Matt for our kitties and we will continue to use him. Our oldest Jack loves getting pets from him and even snuggled with him a bit this time. We highly recommend him!”

“Dee was very playful and attentive to all of our animals. She sent great updates and kept us in the loop while on vacation. If you ever need the right person, Dee is perfect!”

“Shelley was great with my dog, adjusting the routine based on his needs/wants and even addressing some skin irritation she discovered during the week which was a stress relief for both my pup and myself! Dependable and trustworthy. Would highly recommend.”

“Mary took great care of my 2 boys (German shepherd & Australian Shepherd)! She was in contact with us the entire time and very responsive. I would highly recommend her and plan to use her in the future.”

“Isabella is trustworthy and followed all special care instructions perfectly. I look forward to having Isabella come into our home and provide care for our cat during our next time away.”

“Augusta was great! Her communication before the visit and during was great; friendly and responsive. She was patient with our pup and seemed to really care about giving him some quality time. I will definitely book her again when we need someone!”

“Christine was fantastic with our dog Ali. We were nervous as this was the first time we hired a drop in sitter while we were gone. Our dog is a little bit neurotic and elderly and we weren't quite sure how she was going to react. She loved Christine from the get-go. She loved all the walks, attention, love she was given in our absence. She was walked at least twice a day. Which really kept her anxiety and energy level down. She was so chill when we got home it was quite shocking. She was in constant contact with us with photos and updates and I would highly recommend her to anyone.”

“Julie does an amazing job with our golden retriever and kittens every week. She has been so helpful with introducing the dog to the kittens and making sure the kittens nails are clipped. She is such a wonderful resource and we are grateful to have her work with our pets every week.”

“Thanks for watching Fergie & Sy this weekend! They looked like they had a great time! Happy to hear Fergie wasn’t scared and Sy wanted pets! Thanks for always taking such good care of them!”

“Tara was great with my two kittens! She made sure that they were comfortable and loved while I was away. I have one who bolts for the outside and she was extra cautious to make sure there was no escapees!”

About: I am uniquely qualified for taking care of dogs with long-term health issues that require medication and special needs. Our home is sadly dog-free after our dog Albus lost a very long and brave battle against heart disease, and we would love nothing more than to spend time with more wonderful pets. We live in a lovely neighborhood with sidewalks for safe walks, and our home has a fenced-in backyard. Perfect for active and chill dogs alike. I am a full-time student and take all my classes online, so I am home and available everyday of the week. I like to study with a doggie companion, and I take breaks regularly for pet care. I LOVE going on walks, so any dog in my care will get 2-3 walks a day in our beautiful neighborhood or the neighborhood of the client. My house has a fenced in backyard as well and is a great potty spot for dogs that aren’t physically up for walks. Our home is filled with dog toys and dog beds, and it would be a dream place for any dog that loves to play or loves to sleep.
About: I have been taking care of dogs most of my life. I am 57. I have done dog training and agility with 2 of our dogs. I have had a puppy and dealt with Senior dogs too. I love to give our dog lots of attention with play time, walking and outdoor activities. We have a dog lead in our back yard. It is hooked up to a long cable that is attached to our garage and then to a large tree. We keep the lead around our back door handle and hook up our dog inside and then let Pepper out. I am at home and available most days. We have a 19-year-old Son, who also loves dogs! My Husband helps out too, with walks and letting the dogs out in our backyard and is a dog person. I work part time- I have a client at an Apartment nearby who has a Shiba Inu. I let her dog, out and walk him and take him to the dog park. I bring toys to the dog park. I have also done some dog training with him. I do this Monday thru Friday. I do this at lunch time and for 2 nights, I do it in the evening also. There is a dog park/agility course at her Apartment complex. I do have a few Dr appointments in the month, so I go to those. I have some physical issues with my shoulder and immune system, so I only work part time. We do not have a fence in our backyard. We are in a rental home. We do have a dog lead attached to a cable that goes from our garage to a tree. We live in a quiet neighborhood on a street where it is not a "busy" street. We have a small backyard and a small front yard. We love to take walks and go to the dog parks. However, if you prefer your dog not to go to the dog park, that is fine. We could go on walks and let your dog go outside in our backyard. We live close to Silver Lake-the lake is down the street from us. We could walk there and be around the lake. We have lots of dog toys, bones, balls, etc... I do have a walk thru pet gate that I set up to block off the kitchen and dining room area. We will feed our dog and your dog separately in separate rooms. I love to brush and pet dogs. If needed, we could bath your dog too. We are a "dog" type family, that is our preference. We have had fish, hamsters and also a guinea pig in the past. We will throw ball and throw the toys for the dogs and play with your dog. We have a small crate that is in our garage, however we don't usually use the crate. If we leave the home, depending on the situation, if your dog is destructive or chewing on furniture or other items, then we will crate your dog when we leave for church or a short errand. If you have a calm dog and the dog is not destructive and well mannered, then your dog could stay in the family room area, unless you prefer that your dog is in his crate. We will use 2 dog gates near our steps to go upstairs. We prefer that our dog and other dogs do not go upstairs. As a House Sitter, I would do any needed cleaning up of any messes I make. I would be bringing my own food, as I am gluten free and dairy free. The only thing I would need is some freezer and frigerated space for my food. I would follow your normal routine for your dog or dogs. I would need to come and go type a deal. Since I have my own client and I drive to her Apartment, I would need to leave at lunch time and on Monday and Tuesdays, need to leave at dinner time. I
“Just looked at all of the pictures Marissa shared from the drop in. T looks very happy and like he’s very comfortable with her. The drop in worked out very well and I hope to use Rover more often for peace of mind when I have to leave my boy.”

Silver Lake pet parents share their Rover experiences
I have never trusted anyone, outside of family, to take care of my little buddy but, I would definitely put my faith in Matias to care for him again. He put to rest any doubts I had about using a pet sitter while I was on vacation, as well as any fears Brando may have had with someone new caring for him. He was kind and patient with him, and he also kept me informed daily on how my little guy was doing. I would recommend Matias to anyone.

Marissa was amazing! She went above and beyond, spending extra time cuddling with Boomer and playing ball. He looked so happy in all the photos she sent and was just as cheerful when we got home. It was a fantastic experience - we’ll definitely book with her again!
