About: I’ve been around animals my entire life and have been caring for pets since I was about 10 years old. I’ve cared for my own pets as well as the dogs and cats of family and friends, and I genuinely love getting to know every animal’s unique personality. I currently have 4 cats and 1 dog of my own, so I’m very comfortable with both dogs and cats and understand that every pet has different routines, personalities, and needs. Whether your dog needs a good walk, your cat needs some company while you’re away, or your pet simply needs someone to stop by, give them attention, and make sure everything is taken care of, I’m happy to help. My goal is simple: I want your pet to feel safe, comfortable, happy, and cared for while you’re away. Hi! I’m Cory, and animals have always been a huge part of my life. I currently have 4 cats and 2 dogs of my own, so I know firsthand how important it is to have someone you can actually trust when you can’t be there for your pets. I love spending time with animals, whether that’s going for a walk, playing with an energetic dog, giving a shy pet some time to warm up to me, or simply hanging out with them and giving them some attention and companionship. For drop-in visits, I can help with things like feeding, fresh water, bathroom breaks, walks, playtime, litter boxes, and making sure your pet is comfortable and happy. I’ll also make sure your home is left the way I found it. I currently work as a bartender Tuesday through Friday from 11 AM–6 PM, which gives me availability before and after work on those days. I’m also available throughout the rest of the week, including weekends and Mondays. Your pet’s routine matters to me. I’ll follow your instructions, respect their normal schedule, and keep you updated so you don’t have to wonder how they’re doing. I know how much I worry about my own pets when I’m away, and I want to give you that same peace of mind. I can’t promise your pet won’t end up liking me a little too much—but I’ll do my best. 🐶🐱 I love to sit and love on all the animals and play with them! About: I have had many feline family members growing up, currently 3 cats, and 3 dogs during my childhood! I am also a Shelby Humane volunteer. I am comfortable with cats and dogs! I am available evenings and weekends for pet care. I have a lot of experience as a volunteer at an animal shelter and believe this would be a great fit to make extra money. I have 3 cats in my home. I do not let them go outside at all. I have no dogs. How I care for them will be up to the clients instructions.

About: I’ve been taking care of animals since COVID. I’ve pet sat and house sat for many other pet owners in the past. I have lot of experience with cats and dogs since I currently have four cats and two dogs. I have experience with pets with health problems as one of my cats is prone to UTIs. Im currently a stay at home girlfriend who just focuses on renovating our home with various house projects, playing and taking care of our lil zoo, and works on mysmall business. Since I do everything for myself, my partner, or our animals I have a very flexible schedule. I am clean and tidy and more than happy to adhere to any rules that pet parents might have. If walks or potty breaks are needed I’m more than happy to get out stretch my legs and can even offer playtime for dogs or cats who think they’re dogs.

About: I have animal experience in a shelter setting and in a medical setting. I’m currently working at a veterinary office as a kennel attendant. I’m also able to administer medications orally or via injections. I work from 8-6, but I get a two hour lunch. I’m able to drop in and check on animals in the mornings, on my lunch break and after work. I’m always mindful of an animals mood and try to adjust accordingly. If there’s treats, toys or routine that make an animal comfortable the that’s what I try to follow.

About: I have taken care of family, friends and neighbors animals for years. I also worked at a vet before having children.5 yrs. Have watched over animals and took care of them while they were boarding and after surgery. Ive owned different breeds and sizes of dogs. I love them all I can give oral medicine as well as insulin shots. My visits include feeding, refilling water, meds if necessary, playtime and lap time. I have referrals if needed. They are housebroken and very well trained. They also sleep with me at night. They give me company and someone to talk to.

About: hiii! I was an animal shelter volunteer for a little over 7 years! I am very comfortable around all types of animals, poop etc. doesn’t bother me either! I think a person watching your animals shouldn’t just “watch” them but spend quality time with them! It can be scary for animals being left with an unfamiliar face so making the experience as enjoyable as possible ensures that they will be more comfortable next time! i also already go to the dog park every other day and sometimes every day! we absolutely love going (me and my dog sookie)!! I am a college student but thankfully all my classes are online! I don’t typically prefer weekends but if needed then I will be there! I am free 90% of the time! For the cats I have plenty of scratch posts and things they can play with. I also have cats of my own they love making friends! For dogs, I have a crate and large backyard with a lead post! they are allowed on couches and the bed if they want to go that route! Animals will show clear signs of discomfort and my responsibility is to listen and adhere to that

About: I honestly enjoy dogs and cats more than most people, sorry not sorry 😆. There’s just something about the trusting love of an animal that brings joy to life/my world. I’ve been a dog owner for over 15 years, first to my sweet Charlie - no longer with us; and now to our foster fail Maya. Charlie was a border collie who never ran out of energy. Like, ever 😆. Maya is a more settled gal, but she still loves a good walk/hike as long as a nap comes afterwards. I’ve also been a cat mom, and cat foster mom for over 20 years. Our Sophie & Evie keep us on our toes requesting frequent snuggles, play time, treats, and nap time in our laps 💜🐾 If it’s not already evident, I firmly believe: pets are family, and pets have rights to autonomy/boundaries with people and other animals. I fully expect pet owners to have the same standards of care for selecting someone to help with their pet as I believe they’d use to choose a babysitter for their human kiddos. I happily respect and help maintain people’s rules for their pets (but all y’all that say they can’t get on the couch need an intervention 🙃😉 I’m just saying). Let’s chat about how to help your pets live their best lives when you can’t be with them - whether that’s walks, stop in visits, boarding in my home or other care needs. I work from home and have a fair amount of flexibility in my schedule. I’m able to do drop in visits to feed, administer meds, let dogs out, attend to cat boxes etc. and during my visits I will also provide a bit of attention and interaction for your pets if they desire it - I’m not just a run in and run back out sitter ☺️ I provide in home boarding and doggy day care at my home, where they have access to our fully fenced backyard for potty visits and playtime (weather safety dependent). I will probably only offer cat care visits to your home, as I have our 2 girls here full time as well as often having a foster kitten/cat or 2. I will be happy to cater a care plan that best suits your requirements and your cat’s needs.

About: I have cared for a variety of animals and am comfortable caring for any pet (including exotic or uncommon), any age, any size, any level of care, and any personality! I have past experience caring for senior animals (including dogs, cats, and horses) as well as animals under age 1 (including dogs and cats). I often volunteer at the Birmingham Humane Society! Although I am not offering training services, I have experience training and am willing to uphold any training regimen. I have experience shadowing a household pet veterinarian as well as an equine veterinarian. I also have farm animal care experience. I love playtime and am very attentive! I am very excited to care for your pet! I am available for boarding weekends and weekdays after 7 pm. My apartment is the perfect environment for boarding! I am available for boarding some weekdays all day, but I will need notice 5 days and to coordinate in advance for boarding on a weekday before 7 pm due to shifting schedule days. I am available to sit weekends and after 7 pm on weekdays. Can do daytime feedings or walks 2 or 3 times a day. I’m currently working full-time at UAB Hospital (3 12 hr shifts/week). For boarding, I am in a one bedroom apartment with no other pets and decent play space. I have no toys, litter boxes, or cat trees so will need to provide their own. I live next to a large unfenced park. The apartment is clean and tidy and safe for pets. The apartment building also has a pet bathing station available if your pet needs cleaning. If you are concerned with a public bathing station, I am perfectly comfortable bathing your pet in the bath in my apartment. Please, let me know of any health or hygiene issues beforehand. Medications/allergies/health concerns are extremely important to me. For sitting, I will clean any pet messes if needed. Require a decently clean home and closer distance if overnight sitting is needed. Please, let me know of any concerns ahead of time. For walks, please let me know an estimated average walk time for your pet so that they are comfortable and happy!

About: Hello, my name is Kuvo. I have lived with cats my entire life and currently own five of them. When neighbors or family members are away, I occasionally take over to make sure they are well fed and treated. Experienced with many different types of cats; this includes kittens, aggressive, wild, neurotic and/or disabled cats. I have college in the mornings Monday through Thursday, but I'm free the rest of the time. If there are any sudden inconveniences with schedule then I will notify as soon as possible. (Additionally, my name is Kuvo, but Lydia is fine. Your pet is my priority, so I hope a name will not disturb the service provided.) There are certain times for engaging with cats and certain times to provide them with distance. I hope to prevent stress while also giving them the proper attention they need. I am never too far and know where they are.
