About: Growing up, I always had several dogs in my home, and have even adopted two of my own. Over the years I’ve gained a lot of experience working with hundreds of animals with a wide range of breeds and pets of all ages and sizes. I have experience taking care of dogs anywhere from feeding to walking to playing (etc) for any age range and any size. As mentioned in the title, I have experience working at Birmingham’s local Humane Society and in that time learned a lot about animal behavior. This will help me ensure an animal’s comfort level, safety and trust during my time caring for them. I believe the key to taking care of animals is showing them genuine love and patience. I love animals and do this work to make some money on the side, but also because it brings me so much joy! All pets are considered family, so it’s guaranteed to treat them as such. I’m currently working side hustle jobs that give me the benefit of working with a very flexible schedule. Whatever your needs will be for me to properly care for for animals will be easily catered to during my time caring for your pet/pets. During my stay at a client’s home, I will be able to cater to the pet’s regular routine. I also am comfortable and experienced giving dogs medication if they are on a vet prescribed medicine. About: I have been taking care of animals for as long as I can remember! I have a golden retriever named Maggie and two cats named John and Marmalade. I offer In-home pet sitting, Overnight stays, Daily visits (up to 1 hour), Feeding and medication administration, stimulating play, whatever helps your fur baby. I work 6-4:30 Monday through Friday at midfield animal hospital and get a lunch break every day, a reliable car for transportation if needed. I also am familiar with most of the dog parks in the area if that is of interest, and I know great place for stimulating walks. I have extra crates, extra treats, lots of play mats, treat mats, and feeding mats to provide extra stimulation when needed. I know it’s not easy for you to be away from your babies, think of how they must feel.
