5. Annie N.
About: Hello, my name is Annie. I have always loved animals, even as a child growing up & have owned several dogs throughout. I’ve had experience caring for more than just dogs, even working on a ranch before! However, my main mission is to help you & your cute dog(s) by giving them the loving care they need while you take some time to for yourself or whatever circumstances may arise where you need someone trustworthy to help out by caring for your furry friend(s)! My work schedule is currently flexible so I have a good amount of time to play with as well as to take your dog(s) out on walks. I have a fenced in backyard ensuring plenty of secure space for them to play but can keep your dog in their crate depending on your preference.

9. Emily T.
About: I’ve volunteered in rescue organizations since 2012. I’ve fosterered and adopted and currently have a full house of 4 dogs. Experienced with seniors, rescues, anxious, energetic, muscle breeds annd leash pullers - and couch cuddlers. I can dispense medication as needed and have worked with dogs with various conditions over the years. I’ve had dogs and cats my entire life, but really expanded my knowledge base after adopting my first true rescue Dog in 2012. We treated heart worms and skin conditions and everything in between. I will love your fur baby as I do my own. I am always honored when I can connect with a new fur baby friend. Special needs welcome. I have lots of experience with special needs and senior dogs, more general experience with cat care. I currently work from home and can typically bring my work with me to walk or stay with your pet. I have lived in Birmingham for over 30 years, Calera AL the last 7 years. I can stay with or walk your pets. I currently can’t board in my home because the current residents ( my 4 dogs) have all claimed their special spot on the couch or bed. They already compete to sit next to or walk with mom, so bringing in someone new, even for a short stay doesn’t work well. My schedule is very flexible - so I am happy to come to your home or yard for pet care, walks, feeding and housesitting. I am available with a short notice and ( so far) have holiday availability.
10. Kristie M.
“Kristie was so professional and caring. She was very thorough during the meet and greet, making certain that she had all pertinant information regarding my pets routine snd preferences. She was on time daily and even sent photos each day, along with notes. She made me feel at ease during my vacation. I will definitely use her services again and would recommend her to anyone without hesitation.”
11. Felicity G.
“Felicity did an excellent job taking care of our three high-maintenance cats! She came to meet them ahead of time, which we really appreciated, and while we were gone, she sent very detailed care reports and pictures. We feel extremely comfortable leaving our pets in her care again in the future — it’s so nice to have the peace of mind when we go out of town since our cats are high maintenance and two of them are older.”
12. Victoria H.
“I am excited to give Addie a testimonial. She is a very active Junior in high school, participating in sports and her church, all while keeping an "A" average in school. Addie would be a fantastic pet sitter as she has dogs at home that she absolutely loves and takes care of. She is a very caring, responsible and respectful young lady that would do an awesome job. I would recommend her highly.”
13. Mikaela S.
“Mikaela is a sweet and caring pet sitter. She is so good with the dogs! I would definitely recommend her to anyone for their pet care needs!”
14. Feather L.
About: Not only have I raised and kept animals all my life, including my own bundle of cats and a dog that I currently call family, I have also worked several years professionally caring for animals in day cares, boarding houses, and even get clinics. I am well versed in making sure animals get their medicine as they are required, and just ensuring the animals are happy and comfortable. I work early in the morning but I am off by 1 pm most days, allowing for lots of time for play or companionship in the afternoons! If you are close to my work (within ten miles) I will be able to play for a bit in the mid morning too! I am not able to do any boarding (I currently house 4 cats and a dog), but I am very flexible with following any guidelines or requests! I am able to administer pills to both cats and dogs, and love to spend time either cuddling or playing with animals.
15. Rebekah C.
“Rebekah and her mom came to check on our chickens, duck and cats - all outside farm animals. We had left food and water for all of them but wanted assurance that all the animals were ok while we were out of town. She arrived when she said she would and did what we asked her to do. I know that Rebekah has cared for all kinds of animals for many years and will make a great pet caregiver.”
16. Hannah R.
About: Growing up, I always had several dogs in my home, and have even adopted two of my own. Over the years I’ve gained a lot of experience working with hundreds of animals with a wide range of breeds and pets of all ages and sizes. I have experience taking care of dogs anywhere from feeding to walking to playing (etc) for any age range and any size. As mentioned in the title, I have experience working at Birmingham’s local Humane Society and in that time learned a lot about animal behavior. This will help me ensure an animal’s comfort level, safety and trust during my time caring for them. I believe the key to taking care of animals is showing them genuine love and patience. I love animals and do this work to make some money on the side, but also because it brings me so much joy! All pets are considered family, so it’s guaranteed to treat them as such. Your pet’s happiness and safety are top priority so I aim to create a fun and stress free environment for everyone. I’m currently working side hustle jobs that give me the benefit of working with a very flexible schedule. Whatever your needs will be for me to properly care for for animals will be easily catered to during my time caring for your pet/pets. During my stay at a client’s home, I will be able to cater to the pet’s regular routine. I also am comfortable and experienced giving dogs medication if they are on a vet prescribed medicine. I am happy to discuss any needs of the household and go over any expectations of my tile in your space.
