“If I could leave 10 out of 5 stars I would! Amanda was wonderful and we could not have asked for a better experience. Besides being kind, gentle, and thoughtful, she was very caring and gave our dog lots of attention. We had multiple pictures and videos, which were so nice. She took Oliver on walks every day, not down the street, but to a park every day. She also fed him home cooked chicken (with my approval) to try to get him to eat (picky eater!). I know Oliver had a great time and it was so nice not worrying about our little boy! We will definitely use her again! Thank you Amanda!”

“We are very happy with Bridget sitting Lula! We got lots of updates about how Lula was doing as well as pictures and videos of her just hanging out or playing with the kids. The whole family treated Lula well and gave her lots of attention. When Lula met Bridget’s Pomeranian they were friendly and happy to do their own things. The backyard has ample space for any dog to run around and the fence is in good condition. They went above and beyond, were so conscientious, and treated Lula like a member of the family. About: Ive taken care of animals since I was a child, I volunteer at pet shelters and have training as a vet tech from a vet clinic. I am a mama bear when it comes to all animals, they are treated with respect and love. I am a receptionist and mother of 2 boys, and my husband works from home as an accountant. Your dog or cat will be in great hands, I will walk them and take potty breaks. When I am away at work or the store they will be separated from other animals and given toys and water until I get home. I keep an eye on them with a baby monitor. My husband works from home and will also be helping me take care of the fur babies. When we are home they will be out and monitored and loved on. They sleep in crates at night on occasion or in our bed. They get healthy treats and tons of toys. They have a fenced yard to play and run in.

About: I’ve always been an animal lover, and caring for pets is something that comes very naturally to me. I know how important it is to have someone you truly trust caring for your pets when you can’t be there, and I want you to feel completely comfortable knowing they’re being treated with the same love and attention I’d give my own. We currently have three cats—one outdoor cat and two indoor cats—as well as two bunnies who have their own separate space. Our cats are extremely well socialized and are accustomed to being around other cats, dogs, and our bunnies. We do not currently have a dog of our own. I’m comfortable with all the everyday things that make a big difference: feeding routines, fresh water, walks, playtime, litter boxes, keeping spaces clean, and, of course, plenty of attention and affection. I also understand that every animal has its own personality. Some want to be right beside you, while others need a little more patience and space before they feel comfortable. About: I had a dog for almost 19 years of the first 20 years of my life. She was a sister to me so I understand that pets are family. When I take care of pets, I act as though they were my own. I give them all the love and attention they might want! I am willing to play fetch on end, take them on walks, take them to a park or on a hike, feed or walk whenever needed, and any other special requirements that the pet might need. I am very flexible and understand that certain pets require certain kinds of care. I work in office most of the week so I am usually only available on the weekends. I am usually available or can be flexible with enough notice. I cannot host in my own home but treat others’ homes as a guest. I try to stay out of the way as much as I can, depending on what you prefer me to do with your pet. If outside is preferable, we will stay outside as long as the heat permits! I am respectful that play time can be disruptive within the home and do my very best to be respectful when in someone else’s home.
About: I am a very warm, trustworthy, nurturing person who loves animals of all kinds. I’ve had pets my entire life. My first job was at a vet clinic at age 15 working in the boarding house with the dogs and cats. I’ve dog sat for family & close friends for 20+ years. Animals are normally pretty drawn to me but I was raised to pay attention when a dogs body language communicates that they might need time to warm up. I try to give them as much space and respect that they need. I am a small business owner which allows me to have flexibility in my schedule. Thought this would be a fun way to fill the time in-between meeting with clients. Would love to spend time loving on your pet while you are away. Willing to provide the attention and care that each individual animal in your home may need while you are away. I grew up helping care for large dogs and have always been the person my family relies on to feed, play with, and look after our pets. I especially love large breeds and enjoy spending time outdoors, playing, and making sure dogs get the attention and exercise they need. Because my schedule is open, I can dedicate plenty of attention to your pets instead of rushing between commitments. For everyone's safety and comfort, I currently only offer care in my client's home. My family dog is not comfortable around unfamiliar animals, so I don't provide boarding in my own home. When caring for pets in your home, I carefully follow your routines, make sure fresh water is always available, maintain feeding and bathroom schedules, provide plenty of attention and exercise, and send regular photo updates so you can relax while you're away. About: I’ve grown up with dogs my whole life. I recently moved to Alabama from Virginia, and I had to leave behind my four dogs. I miss them so much! I currently work part-time at Salon 43 One, but I’ve always had a soft spot for animals.
