About: I have always had a love for animals since I can remember. I rescued and rehabbed two feral kittens that were living under a dumpster to my own rescued pup. I have had guest dogs in my home from tiny to extra large. They always received the same care as my own dog from sleeping in bed with us to plenty of walks and outdoor time. They will be in great, responsible hands with me! I currently have my own business so I make my schedule. I can be flexible with days of the week and times even with last minute notice. I always ensure the pets are secure via leash before leaving the home to go for walks or when they are "in" for the day (crates, baby gate - no matter their set up). I also gather all the information about the animal - any reactions to certain situations, recall cues etc prior to visits.

“Lily is fantastic! Great flexibility and communication, and she’s been successful in getting my stubborn dog [who would rather just sniff around the house] to go for his walks.”

“Kathy is amazing! Great communication throughout the time she watched my pup and cares for them like they were her own. Sends constant updates and easy to reach if you have a question. I will be using Kathy again definitely!”

“Elizabeth was great with our energetic dogs and getting them the exercise they needed. Her communication and photos eased our concerns about working with someone new. We’ll be happy to work with her again in the future!”

About: I’ve taken care of dogs for a little over 5 years. I have my current dog and dog sat for family and friends. I’m entrusted to feed, walk, play and bathe (if necessary) their dogs when they have come over or if I go over to their house. My current dog takes medicine as needed (pill form) so always willing to give medicine to a dog. I work full time as a nurse, but on night shift and only 3-12s. If you were to book with me, I’d make sure I didn’t have work the nights you are booking with me. My schedule is flexible. I care for your pets like my own and my goodness my dog is spoiled. Dogs at my house are allowed on all furniture, negate tables, and will be treated like they are my own. I have a fenced in yard and dog door that allows them to be able to go in and out at their leisure or I’ll take out as much as needed. Treats (if your dog is allowed or they aren’t on a specific weight loss or diet plan) are always given. Meds , if needed for your dog will be given on a timely basis.

About: I have been providing dog and cat care for friends and family over 30 years. I am very attentive to animal emotional and physical needs. I am currently unemployed and available at any time with reasonable advanced notice. I can do overnight or day sitting as well as potty break/walking visits. I have plenty of outdoor space to take pets on leashed walks. I also enjoy taking dogs on nature hikes with difficulty based on age and ability.

About: Family friends continued to ask my family and I if we would watch and care for their pets while they were away. After doing this multiple times, my parents began their own business of having a doggy daycare while I started my first semester of college. When I’d come home for breaks, I’d help her out by doing walking and drop-in visits for other clients she couldn’t get to. I found that I really enjoyed the time with these pets, and the rest is history. Our family is honored to be "Star Sitters" on Rover. This distinguished classification is based on the quality of care, response rate of communication, and above all, real-life reviews from Pet parents. Our fur baby, Rosie is only 13 pounds, but full of love & personality. She loves everyone and is even happy to share her toys and blankets. Available for same-day daycare and drop-ins, as well as scheduled visits to fit your schedule. Here is what is important to my family and me & exactly what we offer- *Never left alone & always treated as one of our family. *Our house has a doggie-door to our deck & a large, fenced yard, and always treat animals as family. * Multiple potty breaks and playtimes! Nice weather they can run right out of the kitchen onto the deck and down into the large, fenced yard. * In Winter weather, they can also play outside, but enjoy the large dry & warm full basement run. ( the entire length of our house). * The walk-out basement is also wonderful for them to run from the inside, outside, and all around the yard! (Still while Always being supervised). *Supervised playtime or completely separate play and space is always available in our home's large, open floor plan. * Large, open, gated spaces provide the perfect time & space for our Furry friends to get aquatinted with Rosie, and new surroundings and become comfortable...all at their own pace. * Fun and safe neighborhood walks are always included. Whatever they need to feel safe, happy & comfortable. *Our early morning schedule conforms to everyone well and allows them to wake up & get their day started. Please feel free to reach out with at questions at all. I am happy to help. When I am not in school at The University at Buffalo, I live at home in the Finger Lakes area with my parents and are available 24/7 to be with your pet. They will Never be left alone and have full access to the entire first floor (kitchen, office, living room, sunroom, and deck/yard). The full deck (with covered shade spots during the summer months) is wonderful for dogs to lay out in the fresh air (or snow) anytime they would like to. On bad weather days, we utilize our finished basement which has open space for the dogs to run the entire length of our house. It's cozy and warm during the cold winter, and the dogs love playing catch and getting some energy out. It is also a walk-out basement, and the dogs can again run out and play in the yard. Our home is safe and healthy; we clean the floors daily with only Pet-SAFE, Non-Toxic cleaning supplies. Together OR completely separate play times and space are always available. Our friendly little Boston Terrier, Rosie loves to play ball. and make new friends. She will even let your dog sit in her bed, if that's what makes them happy (even if they clearly don't fit in the bed- See pics in my gallery).

About: My name is Grace, and animals have always been a significant part of my life. I grew up on a farm where I was surrounded by cows, chickens, and sheep, and my mother bred Australian Shepherds, which sparked my passion for animals. I have over a year of experience working in dog grooming and have worked with both cats and dogs of various sizes. I am currently a student at flcc and I don’t have school on Tuesday or Thursday and I am available for weekends so that gives me plenty of time to play and take care of your pets! I take into account all that a client may ask of me I understand that it takes trust to have someone care for your pet like that. A pet is a valued family member and they should be treated as such!

About: I’ve taken care of animals since the age of 12 I’ve had neighbors and family recommend me to others and overall enjoy walking and play with all dogs or pets I enjoy walking around and would love to have your animals walk with me. Most animals always enjoy walking and getting out to play. (Plus they get good pets) My yard is a pretty big area there’s a creek right behind the house that they can play in that’s shallow and safe to have them play in. There are many parks that I know of in the area that they could be taken too and be able to run around in.

About: I’ve got a girlfriend who can’t sit still so trust me going on walks is my specialty. Jokes aside I’ve never met an animal I didn’t immediately love, I have 1 cat and have always had one animal in my house at any given point in my life. I work a full time job, and I’m looking for animals to balance the work / life schedule. I’d really love to be a rover sitter DAILY. Taking care of an animal involves providing essential care and attention to ensure its well-being. This includes offering suitable shelter, providing a balanced diet with access to fresh water. It's important to meet the animal's exercise needs, provide social interaction and companionship, and maintain their hygiene through grooming. Creating a safe environment, training your pet, and offering love and attention are crucial for their happiness. tailoring my care routine is key to ensuring a happy and healthy friend.

Alicia V.
“Alicia has taken care of our dogs a few times and dose a great job with them . She would walk and play with our shepherd/ husky. Our English bulldog doesn’t get walked but she took very good care of them both. I highly recommend her for the care of your animals.”

Bryan B.

“Bryan has been our family's trusted pet sitter for several years now. We have a large rescue dog, who is almost always scared of new people. After only 10 minutes, Myrtle was taking biscuit treats from Bry as he sat on the couch quietly waiting for her to become comfortable. We are very happy to have found someone so reliable and kind. Knowing that when we can't be home, Myrtle still gets the same one-on-one love and attention that we give her. We are really thankful for that. We highly recommend Bryan.”

Amanda G.
“Amanda is great with all animals! I worked with her for a while at a pet store and she made sure all animals were very well taken care of. Whenever a dog would walk in she would make sure that they got a treat and pets before they walked out. She is also very friendly to my animals too and they get excited anytime they see her. I highly suggest Amanda as a sitter!”

Richard A.
“Rich is conscientious and has fun with animals. He likes walking dogs, throwing balls to them and playing with cats. As a youngster he helped feed our dog and played with Duke in the backyard. He would make a great pet sitter.”
