About: Experienced, reliable, and passionate about dogs! Over the past 3 years, I’ve provided services for dogs of all breeds, sizes, and personalities. As a owner of 3 dogs, I understand how important peace of mind is when leaving your pets in someone else's hands. About: I’m the person that family and friends go to when they want advice on how to teach dogs fun tricks. Also, I’m really good at telling dogs breeds apart which is fun when I’m out. I work part time on weekends and have classes early in the morning. So the rest of my time can be spent with your babies aka your pets. I have a big backyard that’s fenced in and all three of my dogs don't care for other dogs. As my two newest are shelter dogs I wont accept pets at my home for the time being. Im very patient with animals as I’m the one that cares for my dogs. I treat animals almost similarly to children as thats how I see my own.

About: I’ve been around dogs for basically my whole life and I’ve always loved animals. I’ve been taking care of my own pets- walking, feeding, bathing, training, etc- for as long as I can remember. More recently I’ve taken care of friends pets while their owners are away- including dogs, cats, and a bunny. In these instances I was responsible for checking in on the pets a few times a day to feed them, let them outside, refill water, and give them lots of love and attention. I have also volunteered to dog walk at a few local shelters. I’m currently home from college for the summer and I have a lot of free time. I have a few short trips that are blocked out on my calendar and should be available otherwise. When walking dogs I try to always be aware of my surroundings and be on the lookout for cars, other dogs, or wild animals. My own dog can be a bit sneaky and is a big chewer so I know how important it is to be vigilant when watching dogs. I’ve also had a reactive dog in the past so I’m confident in my abilities to distract and remove a dog from a hostile situation. I’m always interested in learning more about proper pet care and have spent time researching pet safe foods and activities for my own pets. My goal is always to give a pet the best care possible.

About: I have grown up with different dogs my entire life. My best friend was a Rottweiler named Sampson and I had him from a pup. I create trained him as well as click trained him to become a good citizen. I have experience with large breeds as well as small. I have cared my many fur babies in this own homes, keeping them happy with conversation, brushing, play time and long walks. I feel that all breeds deserve love regardless of the negativity they may get from others who don't understand the breed. About: Hello, I’m Hailey! I’m currently earning my post graduate hours as a mental health counselor. The field can be pretty heavy and demanding, so doing things that bring genuine joy and rejuvenate you is so important. I love animals and I love spending time outside, so walking dogs is like the best of both worlds. It gives me the opportunity to be present, grounded, and be involved in my community. It is also rough out here being pre licensed, so anything extra helps. I’ve owned dogs all of life; I’ve had 6 dachshunds this far, so I have experience with dogs of all ages. Additionally, I’ve also been dog sitting for my relatives throughout the years. While my dogs are teenie tiny, I’ve walked medium and larger dogs before. Breed experience is as follows: dachshunds, Irish terrier, border collies, a husky, and a mastiff. Behaviors I’ve dealt with include anxiety, reactivity, and resource guarding. My most recent edition to my family guards and is very much a “my way or the highway” kind of dog. That being said, I’ve done a lot of research on dog behaviors and try to be mindful of their needs and body language. I have a background in Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) and learned a lot about conditioning and reinforcement in my years of education. I’m in no way a dog trainer, but I know when to reward desired behaviors and when not to reward. I prefer to stick to dog walking since my schedule outside of Rover is pretty demanding. About: Throughout my life, we've always had dogs in the house and, as I’ve gotten older, there was definitely a period where it seemed more like a zoo than a human household with all of our rescues. When I was in high school, I fell in love with training dogs and really never wanted to do anything else. Over the years, I’ve made every effort to immerse myself in the field through work at Petco and multiple daycares, as a volunteer at Kent Animal Shelter, as a student with the Animal Behavior College, becoming a CPDT, opening my own business, and tentatively dipping my toes into the grooming aspect of it all as well. Hopefully, as time goes on, I can continue to pursue my dog training career as a multifaceted professional and expand more fully into my own business. I run my own multifaceted pet services business offering a variety of options from training and boarding to walking and photography, so my whole day circulates around pet-related bookings and activities. I live on half an acre of land with a fully fenced in yard, separate attached dog run, and plenty of space to run! We do a perimeter check twice daily to make sure the fencing is secure and the grounds are meeting our standards of cleanliness. I can easily crate dogs if that’s what their paw-rents request, but also have no problem allowing them to roam through the house if that’s what they’re accustomed to. I do have a few pups of my own, but they’re the friendliest guys you’ll ever meet — one is actually a quadriplegic! Everyone is in their own space while eating and stay separated for about an hour following meals to allow food to digest. Let me know if there are any other accommodations your pet needs!
