I have cared for dogs of every size, flavor, and temperament. I have extensive experience training dogs, and quite frankly, I've watched a whole lot of Westminster dog show. In particular, I have specialized experience with shy or nervous dogs and will provide them the space and understanding needed to relax and feel comfortable. I am happy to walk or jog to help burn canine energy. Not afraid to get down in the dirt and play! I have been deeply involved in cat rescue since 2020, when I began working remotely. I have fostered dozens of cats over the years. This includes kittens with complex medical issues. I am very capable at medicating cats and kittens as well as identifying when a cat may be feeling unwell. When you board with me, your pet will not be left alone for more than 1 hour. I only board pets from one household at a time and provide dedicated personal care. When your baby is at my house, they are family. Feel free to reach out with any additional questions. I'm currently working remotely doing project-based contract work, so I have plenty of availability and scheduling flexibility. If boarding or house-sitting, I will be fully available and no pet will be left alone longer than an hour. I have a friendly chihuahua mix (8 lbs) and 2 cats, but if needed, I have plenty of room to give everyone their own space. I have an unfenced backyard with plenty of room to romp. Dogs will always be leashed or tethered in yard.

About: With a lifetime of experience living with dogs, I am confident around them. I own two medium large dogs that love their lifestyle. "Wow, he/she doesn't usually like men!" is something I've heard a lot from people when I meet their dog. She’s a marine biologist and she's worked in animal hospitals, farms, and wildlife rehabilitation centers, adding another layer of knowledge and experience to the care we provide. I believe every dog is unique, so I take the time to understand their personality, routine, preferences, and any special needs to help them feel comfortable and at home. I’m an Athletic Trainer and have Fridays, Saturdays, and Sundays off. My wife has a flexible work schedule and is home most of the time. Between the two of us, someone is almost always home, so dogs are rarely left alone for more than two hours. Because I only accept a limited number of dogs at a time, each guest receives plenty of individualized attention, playtime, affection, and care throughout the day. My home is quiet, fully fenced, and designed to help dogs feel safe and comfortable. There are no children or resident pets, allowing me to provide a calm environment and plenty of one-on-one attention. Dogs are welcome on the furniture, have clean dog beds throughout the house, and can even sleep with us if that’s what they’re used to at home. About: I’ve been around dogs for basically my whole life and I’ve always loved animals. I’ve been taking care of my own pets- walking, feeding, bathing, training, etc- for as long as I can remember. More recently I’ve taken care of friends pets while their owners are away- including dogs, cats, and a bunny. In these instances I was responsible for checking in on the pets a few times a day to feed them, let them outside, refill water, and give them lots of love and attention. I have also volunteered to dog walk at a few local shelters. I’m currently home from college for the summer and I have a lot of free time. I have a few short trips that are blocked out on my calendar and should be available otherwise. When walking dogs I try to always be aware of my surroundings and be on the lookout for cars, other dogs, or wild animals. My own dog can be a bit sneaky and is a big chewer so I know how important it is to be vigilant when watching dogs. I’ve also had a reactive dog in the past so I’m confident in my abilities to distract and remove a dog from a hostile situation. I’m always interested in learning more about proper pet care and have spent time researching pet safe foods and activities for my own pets. My goal is always to give a pet the best care possible.

About: Hello im Cheyenne! I have been around animals my entire life. Ranging from big to small I love all kinds of pets! I have a lot of experience with my own pets from chihuahuas to pit bulls to bunnies and even hedgehogs. I help out my family and friends with pet sitting and I always treat like my own. I’m comfortable with preparing food, medications, walking, and caring for any breed of furry friend. My dogs also suffer from sever allergies so i’m aware of the perception’s and care that needs to be taken with pet allergies. I’m a Junior at the University of Michigan home for the summer looking to help out your furry family. I’m available most days of the week in mornings and afternoons!
