I wouldn’t hesitate to book with Kathy again and highly recommend her!”

“This was the second time I used Barbara services, this time for 11 days. I’m very particular about who I entrust my cat care with and my cats trust Barbara, so I do too. She’s very kind and detail oriented. Not only did she take care of my cats in every way I asked for, but she also gave me ample daily photos, which allowed me to see a bigger story. She even got my mail and took out my trash while I was gone. I cannot recommend her enough.”

“⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Kathy is truly amazing, and we feel so lucky to have found her! We have four dogs, which is definitely a lot to take on, but Kathy handles them all with so much patience, care, and love. From the very beginning, we felt completely comfortable trusting her with not only our dogs, but our home as well. She consistently goes above and beyond what we could ever expect from a pet sitter. She is incredibly reliable, attentive, and genuinely cares about each of our dogs like they are her own. Having four dogs means four different personalities and needs, and Kathy takes the time to make sure every one of them is happy, comfortable, and well cared for. One of the best parts is the peace of mind she gives us when we’re away. We never have to worry about whether the dogs are okay or being taken care of — we know they are in wonderful hands with Kathy. That kind of trust is priceless when it comes to your pets. If you’re looking for someone who is dependable, caring, trustworthy, and willing to go the extra mile, Kathy is absolutely the person you want. We cannot recommend her enough! ❤️🐾”

About: I am a professional dog walker and pet sitter with over twenty years of hands on experience caring for animals. I recently moved to Suffolk County, New York from the Upper West Side of Manhattan after closing my small business in the city. Long Island has been an amazing change for us and we truly love being here. Animals have always been a huge part of my life and have shaped my career for more than two decades. Now that I work from home, I find myself really missing the daily connection with pets. I am certified in pet grooming and have experience in animal behavior as well as light training. I love teaching dogs fun tricks like giving kisses and building trust with them through patience and consistency. I also have experience working as a veterinary technician and receptionist, which has given me a strong understanding of animal health and communication with pet owners. I still maintain several wonderful clients from my time in Manhattan and I am excited to grow my services here in Suffolk County and meet new dogs and their families. About This Sitter Animals have always been my passion for as long as I can remember. I never imagined how far this path would take me, but I truly cannot picture myself doing anything else. Caring for pets feels natural and rewarding to me, and I am grateful every day to be part of their lives. Why I Love Dog Sitting I have loved dogs since the first time I was able to have one of my own. The more I learn about different breeds and personalities, the more my appreciation grows. Every dog has its own temperament and charm, and getting to know them is one of my favorite parts of this work. Meet My Pets In loving memory of Miah. Jenna is currently my active little companion. They are two beautiful Chihuahuas who have filled my life with joy and laughter. About My Home We live in a small four bedroom house in Coram with a backyard that offers space for fresh air and outdoor time. My Experience Administering Medication Yes. I am comfortable giving oral medications only. Pet care fits into my routine very naturally because I work from home and have a flexible schedule. I am available most weekdays and weekends, especially afternoons and evenings. Since I am home often, I can provide consistent attention, walks, feeding schedules, and check ins without rushing. I live in a small four bedroom home in Coram with a backyard where dogs can safely get fresh air and supervised outdoor time. Inside the home, pets are never left unattended for long periods and I always follow the owner’s instructions carefully. I have over twenty years of experience working with animals, including veterinary office experience, so I am very observant of behavior changes and health concerns. I also have one senior toothless small house dog who is gentle and used to other pets, but I always introduce animals slowly and respectfully based on their comfort level.

In particular, I have specialized experience with shy or nervous dogs and will provide them the space and understanding needed to relax and feel comfortable. I have a friendly chihuahua mix (8 lbs) and 2 cats, but if needed, I have plenty of room to give everyone their own space. I have an unfenced backyard with plenty of room to romp. Dogs will always be leashed or tethered in yard.
“Cindy was absolutely wonderful! We stayed over Fourth of July weekend while we were in town for a wedding, and she made our experience so welcoming from start to finish. About: I have taken care of dogs since I was very little, I have grown up around animals from having my own dogs and cat to being the neighborhood's trusty petsitter. I have had my own clients since I was 10 years old and have been building trust and my love for animals since then. I also have experience in two different kennels and boarding centers so I am aware of communication patterns especially in scared and nervous pets. I am very familiar with pets of all ages from puppies to senior care and administering medication. I am here to make everyone feel comfortable with their pet care! To bring love to the animals and comfort to the owners! My life revolves around animals, I cannot live without them. I see my kitten daily and she is the light of my life. I enjoy any moment I get to interact and care for animals :) I am more than happy to provide care in the clients home as well as the outdoors. My office is the street and dog park, making the dogs as comfortable and safe as possible while giving them exercise. I believe pets feel most comfortable in their own environment where they can fully be themselves. I love caring for pets in their own space, that way I can maintain their safety and stress.
About: I’ve been surrounded by animals my entire life and have rescued and cared for several over the years. Caring for animals has always been something I genuinely enjoy and take seriously. I have experience caring for puppies, senior dogs, large breeds, anxious dogs, and pets with medical needs, including administering oral medications and injections. My wife is a great support and shares the same passion for animals. She’s a marine biologist and she's worked in animal hospitals, farms, and wildlife rehabilitation centers, adding another layer of knowledge and experience to the care we provide. I believe every dog is unique, so I take the time to understand their personality, routine, preferences, and any special needs to help them feel comfortable and at home. I’m an Athletic Trainer and have Fridays, Saturdays, and Sundays off. My wife has a flexible work schedule and is home most of the time. Between the two of us, someone is almost always home, so dogs are rarely left alone for more than two hours. Because I only accept a limited number of dogs at a time, each guest receives plenty of individualized attention, playtime, affection, and care throughout the day. My home is quiet, fully fenced, and designed to help dogs feel safe and comfortable. There are no children or resident pets, allowing me to provide a calm environment and plenty of one-on-one attention. Dogs are welcome on the furniture, have clean dog beds throughout the house, and can even sleep with us if that’s what they’re used to at home. I send daily photo and video updates, and you’re always welcome to message me anytime. Several veterinary hospitals and clinics are within a 5-minute drive if veterinary care is ever needed.
“Julia went above and beyond to accommodate our very socially anxious dog. Best experience we’ve had on this app”

“Very reliable! She’s incredibly thoughtful and considerate to our puppies needs. She thinks on the spot for solutions to build rapport with our puppy. Respectful to our home. We feel more than comfortable leaving our animal in the care of Barbara.”

About: I’ve been around dogs for basically my whole life and I’ve always loved animals. I’ve been taking care of my own pets- walking, feeding, bathing, training, etc- for as long as I can remember. More recently I’ve taken care of friends pets while their owners are away- including dogs, cats, and a bunny. In these instances I was responsible for checking in on the pets a few times a day to feed them, let them outside, refill water, and give them lots of love and attention. I have also volunteered to dog walk at a few local shelters. I’m currently home from college for the summer and I have a lot of free time. I have a few short trips that are blocked out on my calendar and should be available otherwise. When walking dogs I try to always be aware of my surroundings and be on the lookout for cars, other dogs, or wild animals. My own dog can be a bit sneaky and is a big chewer so I know how important it is to be vigilant when watching dogs. I’ve also had a reactive dog in the past so I’m confident in my abilities to distract and remove a dog from a hostile situation. I’m always interested in learning more about proper pet care and have spent time researching pet safe foods and activities for my own pets. My goal is always to give a pet the best care possible.
About: I provide personalized pet care tailored to your pet’s unique needs, from gentle senior care to puppy training basics. With a genuine love for animals and experience handling various breeds, I ensure your pets feel safe, comfortable, and loved while you’re away. Pet care fits seamlessly into my schedule. I’m available between my weekday classes for check-ins, walks, and care, while Fridays through Sundays, I’m completely free for full-time pet sitting and extended care. I provide attentive care by feeding pets on schedule, keeping them clean, administering medication if needed, and ensuring they feel safe and comfortable, whether in my home or yours.

“Kurt walked Henry and Hudson every day for 6 weeks and was amazing with them. They are farm dogs most of the year and not perfect on a leash. But within a day or two with Kurt they became model citizens ! They looked forward to their time with him every day. Kurt was 100% reliable and really a pleasure to see every day. 5 stars!”
“Madison is great! Great communication, followed all the steps needed to properly walk Enzo and went above and beyond to ensure my dog was taken care of. The photos provided during the walks were a nice touch and shows that Madison provides high quality customer service!! I would highly recommend Madison and would definitely use her services again in the future.”

“Patrick and Karyn have taken my dog on three walks this week! They are incredibly kind and it’s very obvious that they are caring people. Upon meeting I felt very comfortable with them and trusted them to take good care of tuna (my doggy) while I was at work. They are so responsive and give updates throughout the entire visit. I’ll continue to book their care and highly recommend! Thank you so much 😊”

“Gen was very accommodating by taking Winston and gave me updates the entire time. I knew the whole time Winston was safe, and was well taken care of. I will be booking w/ Gen again the next time I go away!”

“Petunia ❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️‘S Carlos Andrés. I wish you all could see how she runs to him when we drop her off. It is so sweet. They have a genuine love for each other. Best sitter EVER!”

“Jayme really helped us out with watching Diesel when we had to go away for a long weekend for a family wedding. I felt very comfortable knowing that Diesel was in good hands and that he had a yard to play around with. Jayme is very kind and sent several pictures of Diesel. Knowing that he was in someone’s loving home and not in a boarding facility put me at ease. I would recommend Jayme without hesitation for anyone who wants their dog to have a home away from home!”

“I had never boarded my cat before so I was very nervous. Natalia was so sweet and communicative she really made me feel so much more at ease about leaving Leslie overnight. Natalia sent photos of Leslie and took wonderful care of her. She even had all of Leslie’s things packed and really when I came to pick Leslie up. I highly recommend Natalia!”

“Sandy and her family made our dog (Little Rose) feel very welcome. She sent photos when we asked and in each photo our dog seemed very happy. When Rosie returned to our house, she was much happier than when coming back from previous kennels. Sandy was also very well organized and she helped us have an easy drop-off and pick-up.”

“Maria, Eric and Pennie were amazing hosts. They kept us posted multiple times a day with great photos and videos of our dog Bertie playing non stop in the yard with Pennie, who’s is the friendliest and prettiest Husky Shepard mix. They have a pristine home and a great yard for play. I would highly recommend this family and will definitely be using them again for Bertie’s next vacation.”

“Kathy was an amazing pet sitter. My dog stayed for three nights and had the best time playing with her sweet dog Ollie. Kathy was incredibly attentive and kind. My dog had hurt her leg prior to going over there and she even took the time to gently massage her leg ( after checking with me) It really meant a lot knowing my dog was so cared for uncomfortable. I wouldn’t hesitate to book with Kathy again and highly recommend her!”

“There is no one I prefer to watch Sadie more than Bruce! He always updates me how she’s doing and gives her so many walks and she even eats more of her food when she’s with him! She loves Bruce and I Strongly recommend him for your fur baby. Thank you, Bruce!!!”

“Christine was amazing to our pup while we stayed at a house that does not allow dogs. She is super friendly and caring. A true dog lover. We dropped off our dog on her Birthday and Christine sent special photos helping her celebrate it. Thanks again!”

“My mom's puppy was in her arms looking very happy! We received updates which was wonderful She was very accommodating and we hope she's available again because it was our puppy's first time away and Anne made this experience easy”

“Emily was EXTREMELY patient, caring and understanding of our Toby, who had severe anxiety while he stayed with her. She administered medication when warranted, and made sure he was as comfortable and loved as possible in our absence. We would definitely trust her to take care of him again in the future!🐾💙”

“Jeff was completely trustworthy and professional with us and our dog Coco. He sent multiple updates and great photos and videos. Coco seems to have had a terrific visit and was definitely well cared for. We would highly recommend him and will use him (if he is available) the next time we travel.”

“Gwynne was amazing to work with. We were first timers and she made everything so easy. We have a 130 pound lovable goofy Great Dane and Gwynne is very comfortable with big dogs. While Luna was there over the holiday Gwynne had a full pack big to small and they all looked happy! Gwynne has a nice yard for them to run around. We ran into Gwynne with several dogs at the beach earlier this month and all the dogs were happy and under control. She sure has a way with them. Gwynne is super communicative. Very easy drop off and pick up. We think Luna enjoyed Camp Gwynne so much she was disappointed to come home. She climbed into her bed and literally slept 2 days. We will surely use Gwynne again. Peace of mind for us. Ecstasy for Luna. Thanks Gwynne!”

“Luna stayed with Antonia for the second time. She likes her a lot and her dog and cat. Will keep booking with Antonia when we need a caring, sweet and attentive sitter. I know Luna is in good hands when she goes to Antonia.”

“She was so communicative, she send pictures ! She follows the schedule which I love , she teach them tricks. Her cats are amazing with dogs. Thank you for looking after Milo.”
