About: I've been around dogs and puppies my whole life. Growing up my brother bred part wolf part german shepherds, and I have experience training puppies. Throughout my life I've lived with and trained chihuahuas, shitzus, terriers, pointers, golden retrievers, poodles, labradors, huskies, hounds and catahoula leopard dogs, as well as mixes and mutts of all kinds. My friends and family rely on me to watch, feed, walk and bathe their dogs for them, as they all claim that I am a dog whisperer. :) I currently work from home and have a flexible schedule. There is abundant green space all around me and I am a very active person and go for walks twice a day with my dog, year round, regardless of the weather. I have a fenced in yard with a large garden and abundant wild life, for this reason I will always be outside to supervise and play with the dogs while they are out there. It is possible for me to use a crate for your dog, if you prefer. I have a sweet, blue heeler/poodle mix who is 3 years old. She is mild mannered and friendly, although she takes a little bit of time to warm up and play with a new dog. Your dog will be a welcome addition to our home and will have fun exploring the area's around my house on walks with us. The Saint Anthony off leash dog park is a couple blocks from my house and I can bring your dog there too if they would like that. :) I am happy to comply with your preferences with your dog. *Please note: if your dog has separation anxiety and you do not have medication for them, or if your dog has destructive tendencies and is not happy in a kennel, do not request a booking with me. I work from home mostly, and have a flexible schedule. However, I will need to leave my house at times. If your dog cannot be left alone for 2-4 hours at a time do not request a booking with me. *Please note: if your dog has separation anxiety and you do not have medication for them, or if your dog has destructive tendencies and is not happy in a kennel, do not request a booking with me. *Please note: if your dog has separation anxiety and you do not have medication for them, or if your dog has destructive tendencies and is not happy in a kennel, do not request a booking with me. I work from home but will leave my house for groceries, ect. I have a fenced in back yard and live next to a lot of green space, Columbia Park, the northeast dog park, rugby field and golf course.

About: I have had dogs since I was a child. My first dog of my own I had for 15 years until she passed. Have raised dogs from puppy to senior. When with me pets are treated like family. Have done drop in care for friends cats although I have not had cats of my own. Currently work full time but have availability to stop home for lunch breaks to take pets out. Evenings/weekends are full of time at home in the yard/garden and burning my pups energy. I have a fully fenced yard. One energetic pup that would love friends to play with. Can kennel if necessary. Pets are allowed on furniture.

About: Due to my emotional tenderness and playful spirit, I’ve always been able to build an instant connection with dogs of every age, size, and breed. I’ve helped care for the dogs of neighbors and family for many years and have had a dog of my own, Charlotte, for 4.5 years and my girlfriend and I recently adopted a sweetheart rescue named Sasha. I work in the Minneapolis Public Schools so while it is Summer I have a very open schedule. Once I return to work in late August, care I can provide is limited to evenings and weekends. I begin all relationships with dogs by trying to establish an emotional connection and getting to know them well, making sure in the moment that I am grounded, breathing deeply, and interacting from my fullest self. I also make sure that I am following the client’s best wishes, and care instructions since they know their pet best.

About: Hi there! My name is Valeska and I have taken care of all sorts of animals since I was 10 years old. I have also been a Vet Tech for 3 years, gaining lots of experience and exposure throughout those years. I have a Fear Free Certification, so I can ensure a stress free time with your pet. I'm currently working part-time and mostly weekends, so I'll have plenty of time to play with your pup! I personally enjoy stimulating my dogs, so I can ensure mental and physical stimulation through fun activities! I would prefer to care for a client's pet in their home rather than mine. For safety and preventative measures aligned with my Fear Free training received through Fear Free Pets, a Veterinary Professional Certification Program, I would ensure to provide a stress free environment, one in which the pets feels safe even though their owner may be absent and a stranger is present.

“Holly was great! She came over last minute when I really needed someone to take Ollie for a walk when I was away. Looked like they had a good time ? I will definitely use her again!”

“Sean came by to meet nahla for some dog sitting. He is a pro. We will for sure be hiring them to watch nahla over some weekends coming up this summer.”

About: I've spent my whole life around animals, whether that be with dogs, casts, chickens, rodents, or fish. I've taken care of animals with feeding specifications and non-violent behavioral issues, so I'm confident that I can take care of your pets without issue as long as clearly worded instructions are provided. I'm currently working part time where I'm on call for a local business overnight a few nights per week, and every other weekend. My schedule may change from time to time, but I'll be sure to update you as soon as I know something has changed! I'm happy to take care of your pets however you need me to! If you just want me to check in on them, I'm happy to do that, but I'm looking for more fun ways to exercise, so I'm happy to take your pets on walks or play with them outside too! I love cuddling animals, and am happy with however you and your pet want to be treated.

About: There’s just nothing better than getting to provide a pup with the love and care that they need to thrive. I’ve been a lifelong animal lover, so getting to take care of dogs professionally really is a dream come true for me. I’ve always enjoyed boarding dogs in my house, and love seeing the smile on a dog’s face when they know they are happy and well taken care of! I also know how difficult it can be to find quality care for your best friend while you’re away, so I’m here to fill that gap. I have always enjoyed being around animals and caring for them. I grew up on a horse farm and my childhood was spent with my best buddy, Stubbs, an Australian Shepherd. I have attended obedience classes with our pups before, which was a great learning experience! I’m happy to give your dog some tips and tricks if you’re working on this as well. I’ve worked with dogs in a professional capacity as a boarder, and have always found it very rewarding. I currently have one dog of my own: a sweet miniature Schnauzer named Murray. He loves meeting new friends! I live in the Victory neighborhood of MPLS and enjoy my neighborhood very much. I own a two bedroom home and have a great fenced-in backyard that is perfect for getting some fetch in during the day or finding that perfect sunbeam for a nap! I live off of a great parkway for long walks and trips to a lake! There are lots of great puppy friends in the area, so we’ll never be at a loss if we want to get out and socialize.

About: Every animal is different and I take the time to listen and get to know each of your individual pets quirks, abilities, and triggers. I’ve had animals all my life from small to large dogs and cats, living with roommates animals, and integrating pets with each other. Im good at being as attuned as possible to each animal from life experience and a little bit of research, but no formal training. I work for myself as a full time freelancer, so I create my own schedule and am super flexible! I’m pretty good with last minute needs and quick trips as i’m all over Minneapolis pretty often. I pay attention and follow all of the specific details about each pet for every client. I make sure to give them ample play time or cuddles and if they’re staying with me, properly introduce them to my cats. I have a backyard for running around and an upstairs just in case I need to separate animals and still give them plenty of space.

She graduated with a degree in Pre-Veterinary Medicine, which just made sense. She really has both the knowledge and experience to provide excellent care for her potential clients. She has dog-sat for her professor in the past and currently shares her home with four dogs and three cats (including Charlie who has been with her all seven years), treating each one like her child. Valeska is always attentive, loving, and dedicated. She buys them new toys and simply makes them feel happy. Any pet with her is in great hands. Thanks.”

“I have no doubt that Sparky had a great time at Travis's house. It was such a comfort to know that he was safe and happy while I was away. He is a momma's boy, so I always feel bad when I leave him but, thanks Travis's frequent updates (including pics), I knew that Sparky had bonded with him and felt right at home. He was also flexible and easy to work with. We even got to have a meet and greet beforehand to ease my anxiety. I highly recommend this sitter!”

Alexis P.
“I have a senior dog with separation anxiety. I never had a moment of worry whenever I would leave him with Alexis. She always showered him with all the love and attention I could ever want for him. Your pups are in good hands!”
