I volunteered as a behavior volunteer for several years at Friends For Life Animal Shelter, where I learned about canine and feline behavior. About: Hi, my name’s Leo and a I’ll be looking after your pet. New to Los Angeles, I grew up in the Baltimore area with a Cocker Spaniel named Buddy. Five years ago, my family took in a Border Collie/Shetland Sheepdog named Lady. In the last seven years, I've often house sat for neighbors and taken care of their dogs, yard work, and any other animals they may have, typically when they were away for vacation. I currently live with my cat Sampson and only get to see our family dog Lady when I return to Maryland to visit my parents, so I'd very much love to take care of your dog to feel a little more at home. I would be thrilled to take your dog for walks or jogs, do drop in visits throughout the day, or house sit for you! I make my own schedule so I can be flexible to fit yours. I will do my best to accommodate your schedule if last minute changes are needed. About: I began seeking clients on Rover in the summer of 2025 as a way to make some more money for college and I love animals so I figured “why not!” - I found myself really bonding with every dog/cat I watched and cared for them as my own. I accept as many jobs as I possibly can because I understand the importance of having someone stay with your fur babies who knows how to care for them in all aspects. My 7 month old puppy died due to negligence from his pet sitter and got hit by a car. Due to that experience, I have shifted my focus to mainly Rover, hoping I can provide families with the comfort and assurance that I will care for their animals with the respect and love they all deserve. I have experience with all kinds of animals (even bunnies, horses, fish, and more!) I was a working student from the ages of 10-15 years old and have my own horse so big dogs don’t scare me. I know how to deal with skittish or aggressive dogs because I had to learn to groom my own goldendoodle as he got older and became unpredictable due to dementia. It is important for me to make sure the animals I look after feel heard, are never left alone for too long, and have fun during my time with them! I only have one other job exercising steeple chase horses in the early mornings so I have a lot of availability to make house visits or spend the day as much as you would need me to! I also love to go on walks and take hikes, so if I am looking after an Active dog it is no problem! If your dog likes to play with other dogs I have a fenced in yard and two other dogs of mine who are very friendly. I am very neat and organized so the chance of your animal eating something or getting into something they’re not supposed to is very slim.

Josh is the best! He agreed to meet and get to know our pets first which took the worry away knowing he was kind thoughtful and responsible. He was flexible with the schedule and so good with our rather anxious dog. Our dog actually seems calmer was brushed and well cared for while we were away! and he is even leaving food in his bowl after Josh suggested he may need more food cause he seemed hungry and so we said ok and learned Josh was right maybe that was all it was cause now he doesn’t inhale it in 5 minutes! He also was flexible when I had a last minute thing to do and needed his services for the weekend. Can’t say enough great things really glad I tried this service and was lucky enough to get Josh!

Rini is fabulous! She looked in on our cat while we were away for most of a week. We received updates at every visit that included a short video and photos. Delilah can be reached at ”spicy” at times and Rini was patient with her, eventually winning her over. She also brought in our mail and packages. Will definitely use her again!
It seems that Karenna did a good job feeding my cat. He gets nervous and hides under the sofa and table while I am away as pictures from Karenna showed. He did like Karenna when she came for a Meet and Greet. He came out from under the table and let her pet him a little bit. I would definitely use Karenna again, if she was available.
