About: My childhood dog Magnum lived to age 20, so I feel that I can confidently say that I can shower your dog with love and care so they can live a long and healthy life! I work full-time but I am typically home from work by 4 on Wed-Fri and every other Monday. I am very active and love to get some steps in. About: I’ve been around animals my entire life and have experience caring for dogs, cats, birds, and hamsters. I started dog walking and pet sitting in middle school and have continued ever since. I'm a pet owner too, so I know how important it is to stick to your pet's routine and send plenty of updates so you can relax. As a graduate student, I have a very flexible schedule. My campus is only a 10-minute drive away, which means I can easily come home to check on your pet every 2-4 hours, or as often as needed. My neighborhood has plenty of green spaces and safe areas, perfect for long walks and playtime. My home features a secure, fenced-in backyard with plenty of grass, giving your pet a safe space to play and take comfortable potty breaks. As a cat, horse, and previous dog owner myself I understand that our pets are our family! I look forward to meeting your fur baby! I work part time hours and am off weekends and holidays. I’m happy to spend my free time playing, walking, and spending time with your pet! While at work crates, gates, or free roam can be used depending on your pets needs and comfort. Pets will be monitored through pet cams during working hours. While in my home pets can have free roam or access to a crate depending on their needs and comfort. For walks I utilize harnesses and if needed can add a back up slip lead if owner feels more comfortable to ensure safety. Pets will always have access to fresh water and toys and will be well loved while in my care!

“Our pup’s overnight with Shannon was absolutely wonderful! Shannon is very nice and it is evident she really loves and cares for animals. She took great care of our Boston Terrier she kept us posted regularly on how he was doing with photos of him playing with the other dogs. It’s a big relief to know we can bring him there the next time we are going to be away and know not only that he will be in good hands but that he’s happy and having lots of fun.”
