“This was the first time I left my 2 boys with Ashtin and I would come back to her for taking care of my puppies every time. My boys were so well taken care of. Ashtin is very responsive and accommodating. She sends tons of pictures and updates throughout the day. We came back to very happy and content puppies. They were loved throughout their stay at Ashtin’s house and I can tell that they found a second home there.”

“Hannah was amazing with my sweet baby girl Lily! She even trimmed her nails because I was too chicken to do it! Hannah sent lots of updates and pics to help keep my mind and heart at ease when I was out of the country. I have such appreciation for the love she showed mah lil angel and am grateful I have a safe and fun place to bring Lily the next time I leave for another adventure :)”

“Samantha & her family cared for Rosie so well, like she was part of the family! Rosie has a lot of energy and their family and their own dog have Rosie so much attention and opportunity to play! They were so kind and great with communication and flexibility. Rosie will miss her puppy friend Jetta and their family! Would definitely recommend:)”

“Was wonderful! Gave daily updates with pictures and video, Tilly left grinning ear to ear. Was super kind about us dropping her off a little late, and super understanding about Tilly being a little excited. Would definitely recommend and will definitely be rebooking!”

“Mowgli had such a great time with Maru P. She and her family were so patient with him (and his drool)! While it was too hot for many walks, they made sure Mowgli was engaged by playing with the hose (Mowgli loves water). He also enjoyed the resident canines. That they so easily accepted this bouncy pig tells me how well-socialized they are. Maru was great at communicating with me, and she took my concerns that Mowgli not over do himself very seriously. He came home balanced - not exhausted and not overstimulated - which is exactly what I'm looking for in a sitter. We will be booking again!”

“I was very happy that Taylor was able to keep Bogie during my trip out of town. She sent me photos everyday and he was very happy and healthy when she delivered him back to me. I will definitely use her again.”

About: I've had a dog as long as i can remember. I have grandchildren that visit often and a fur baby of my own. So your fur baby must be good with kids and other dogs. I have a unique work schedule. Therefore, between my spouse and myself, your fur baby will not be left alone for long periods of time. So I have plenty of time to spend with your fur baby. I have a secure fenced in backyard for your where your fur baby and run and play. I the ability to create if your fur baby requires it.
“Once again, Mowgli had a great stay with Rachel & Scotty! They really took great care of my little boy, he seemed so happy and like he was having a good time in the updates. Really appreciate their quality of care!”

“Gail took care of my baby like it was her own. She sent pictures and added comments to make me feel close to my dog while I was away. Gail is very professional and adept in her care and love of pets. Paws 🐾 up!!”

“Jennifer and her family have taken such good care of Mowgli twice now. I have a hard time finding sitters that provide Mowgli the structure he needs - primarily downtime. He's suffered a recent injury, so rest was even more important than usual. Jennifer made sure that this young pup didn't overextend himself yet still received all the love in the world. She was totally capable of meeting Mowgli's high-maintenance needs: rest, supplements, oral/topical meds, and dental hygiene. I look forward to future visits when he's healed enough to play with the other pups in the house!!! I can't thank this family enough💕”

“Jackie is the absolute best dog sitter! He went above and beyond for our pet. Communication was excellent. He sent us photos and messages every day. He is a caring individual and has a great backyard for dogs. Will be using him again!”

“I am so happy to have found Casey when I moved to LA! She has been friendly, kind, and super flexible with my chaotic work schedule. I have an older dog that is blind and loves to cuddle-she is always sending photos of him relaxing on the couch cuddling with her on her 2 pups (which are sweethearts). She is always attentive to my dogs unique needs and communicates regularly. I feel completely comfortable with Casey's being my dogs "home away from home."”

“Joanne is the second individual that I’ve allowed to puppy sit my frenchie zara. Zara had a blast with joanne and she did not want to leave. She was very well-cared for and updates were sent to my cell phone. Joanne is a stellar level dog sitter. 5 stars!!”

“Lindsey was great with my Amara. She gave me photos and updates to assure me my little girl was okay. Amara seemed to fit right in with Lindsey and her family. She came home happy and seemingly more behaved. She even sent "Mari" home with some of her homemade pumpkin treats. Would recommend Lindsey.”

“Ruth enjoyed her time with Courtney and Shadow. They all got along very well, and Ruth’s stay allowed her to socialize and take a break from her normal routine. Courtney helped me to not worry about Ruth or how things were going by sharing videos and keeping me updated on how she was getting along.”

“My dog had a blast with Alesha! I would definitely recommend Alesha to others. She was helpful and informative, but also allowed me to enjoy my vacation without anxiety over my dog.”

We call Angie’s house the “all-exclusive resort”! From booking to even after our stay, Angie goes the extra mile for you and your pups. Our two dogs stayed over a night and a day and were never bored! She fit in walks, a creek visit, a car ride, and tons of playtime in the yard. Angie is a true animal lover that genuinely wants to spend time with your pets who will send them home healthier and happier. We are looking forward to the next “resort” stay and HIGHLY recommend Angie to be any pet’s temporary mama!

Rhonda was absolutely amazing watching my pup! Partway through the stay, my little girl had an allergic reaction to a bug bite, and Rhonda handled it perfectly — she noticed it right away, stayed on top of it, and kept me constantly in the loop with updates, pictures, and videos so I could see exactly how she was doing throughout the whole thing. Her communication was outstanding; I never once felt anxious or out of the loop, which means a lot when you're away from your pet. She took such attentive, loving care of my pup and got the swelling down quickly and safely. Beyond just handling that situation well, it's clear Rhonda genuinely cares about the animals she watches — you can tell in how attentive and proactive she is. I highly recommend her to anyone looking for a trustworthy, reliable pet sitter, and I already have plans to book her again for my pup very soon.

I foster shelter dogs but had a trip out of state. Gail watched one of my fosters for me. She’s a spoiled tri-pod lab and loved being at Gail’s! She sent me pictures and videos of her playing and kept me updated on how she was doing. It was so nice to know that a dog who had such a rough life was somewhere comfortable and loved while i was away. Thank you Gail!

Katie and her family took wonderful care of our dog, Molly. Katie communicates well, answering questions promptly and posting pictures. She was delightful to get to know and I didn’t have a moment’s worry about Molly while we were traveling. She goes out of her way to create a great experience!

Johnnie was wonderful with our dog, Dolly! He was very accommodating with drop-off, super friendly, and kept a clean, organized home. He even took great care of her when it snowed and sent pictures and videos to keep us updated. He was easy to reach and so helpful when it was time to pick her up. We felt completely comfortable leaving Dolly with him and would 100% recommend Johnnie to anyone.

A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your pet, and a sitter. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your sitter or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and sitters on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.
Every sitter on Rover is required to pass a background check before listing their services. This process confirms their identity and indicates they are not on the Department of Justice’s National Sex Offender Public Website or have any disqualifying offenses.
Beyond ID checks, you can review each sitter's star rating, read verified reviews from other pet parents, and see how many repeat clients they have. Every booking is backed by the Rover Guarantee, which includes up to $25,000 in eligible veterinary care. For more details, visit Rover's Trust & Safety page .
While each sitter sets their own vaccine requirements, staying up-to-date on your dog’s vaccines is the best way to be "boarding ready". Vaccinations help create a safe environment for all pets under a sitter’s care.
Many sitters in AR ask that dogs be up to date on core vaccines like the Canine Parvovirus, Canine Distemper, Canine Adenovirus, Bordetella, and Rabies. Cats may be required to have Feline Viral Rhinotracheitis and Rabies up to date.
By discussing your pet's health history early, you’re adding a layer of confidence for you and your sitter before the booking begins.
Emergency support is available by phone or email in English 24/7. When an incident occurs, we recommend that sitters contact our Trust & Safety team immediately so that they can connect your sitter with a board-certified veterinarian or offer other resources to help.
If a sitter needs to cancel at the last minute, Rover’s reservation protection means our team will work with you to find a suitable replacement as quickly as possible.
