About: What sets me apart is that I focus on helping pets feel safe, comfortable, and part of the household while their owners are away. I have experience caring for both younger and older dogs, including pets that need a calmer environment, extra patience, or more frequent bathroom breaks. I try to keep pets on a consistent routine and pay attention to their behavior, comfort, and energy level so I can adjust care to their needs. I also understand how important communication is for pet parents, so I provide regular updates, photos, and short videos during their stay. Pets in my care are treated with kindness, supervision, and respect. I aim to create a calm environment where they can relax and feel secure rather than stressed or isolated. I structure my schedule to ensure pets are never left alone many hours at a time. I make it a priority to ensure pets are fed, visited regularly, given plenty of attention, and made to feel safe, comfortable, and cared for while their parents are away I treat pets like part of the family and work to help them feel safe, comfortable, and cared for while they are in my care. In my home, pets are welcome in the common living areas so they can feel relaxed and included. I have a large backyard for supervised outdoor time and provide regular walks, playtime, attention, and companionship throughout the day based on each pet’s needs and routine.

“Jennifer and her family have taken such good care of Mowgli twice now. I have a hard time finding sitters that provide Mowgli the structure he needs - primarily downtime. He's suffered a recent injury, so rest was even more important than usual. Jennifer made sure that this young pup didn't overextend himself yet still received all the love in the world. She was totally capable of meeting Mowgli's high-maintenance needs: rest, supplements, oral/topical meds, and dental hygiene. I look forward to future visits when he's healed enough to play with the other pups in the house!!! I can't thank this family enough💕”

About: Hello! I’m Tara, and animals have been a big part of my life for as long as I can remember. I grew up caring for dogs, cats, and horses, and I competed in eventing through my mid-twenties—so I’m comfortable with pets of all sizes, energy levels, and personalities. My significant other, Mike, and I work together as a team to provide attentive, 1:1 in-home boarding with plenty of supervision, exercise, and affection. I’m happy to accommodate special routines and needs (senior care, medications, shy/anxious pups, or high-energy dogs who need extra play and structure). Tell me what helps your dog feel safest and happiest, and we’ll tailor their care to match. I work in childcare part time and Mike is a gig worker with a very flexible schedule. We work together to give your dog the benefit of in person care. Regular business hours are preferred but not mandatory. We strived to meet your dog care needs and requirements while giving your babies all the love and attention they deserve. We may ask a lot of questions but the more we know, the better we can customize the care for your dog. We have a nice size yard with. We also have a large deck for lounging.

About: I have had many years of animal care! I have been volunteering in animal shelters since I was 16 and have previously walked dogs in Chicago for a few months! Most recently, I was on a volunteer team that helped train rescued puppy litters. I am currently a dental student that does not have the time for a full time job, but will always make time for some furry friends! I live in a gated apartment community with grassy areas within. There are no other animals in my apartment. My area is very walkable and I would love to be able to do so with your pet!

About: Camp Bow Wow Camp Counselor. I have owned dogs for over 12 years and give the best time and care for them. I also was the one who would watch and care for any family or friends pets when they'd go out of town for a few weeks at a time. I tend to stay home and I don't leave the house when I am watching your sweet fur friends. I do work a job with a different work schedule each week. I would love to watch over your furry friends. Just ask and I will let you know when I am available to watch over your furry friends. I have a fenced yard with one big dog. He is super sweet and loves to play. He plays gentle with other dogs and if having your pups around my dog is a problem I can keep them separated.
