She is our go to regular sitter for our cat, and we always are extremely pleased with her and how well she cares for our baby, but this most recent time she truly went above and beyond for us. We got stranded in our travels because of the snow storm and she not only was able to stay with her for extra days, but the hvac unit also went out and our house lost heat! The temps dropped dangerously low and she helped us to troubleshoot the system for HOURS! Unfortunately the problem had to do with something outside our control and we needed to find an HVAC technician who could solve it. She stayed with our cat despite the cold and helped the hvac technician gain access to the house, answering questions as they arose, and worked with him until everything was fixed! She also made sure to drop the faucets and do everything she could to keep the house warm. She not only cared for our cat but she also saved our house from freezing pipes! We could not be more thankful for her and the amazing person she is!! People like her are rare and choosing her to care for your pets is truly a blessing! Thank you so much, Lacy!!”

About: I grew up in the country in a house with all kinds of animals! I’ve had many dogs and cats throughout my life big and small! I even had a pet squirrel and raccoon that we had to nurse back to health! I love animals so much. I think they are little angels on earth. I currently have a little maltshi dog that is 11 years old. She is my whole world. I take her everywhere. She is super sweet and also loves having other dogs around since she is an only child. I am currently doing online school so I am at home 24/7. I have a two story townhouse and I live in a community with tons of areas with parks for dogs to play. My dog loves going on walks in the neighbor with me. We also have a huge window (that’s about as big as the wall) that the dogs can look out of and watch squirrels and see our big back yard. I will love your dog like my own. I will walk them frequently and let them sleep with me at night! I have multiple dog beds they can also sleep on. I have tons of dog toys (I think over 50) so they won’t ever need to bring anything. I also have many different types of dog treats so if you say it’s okay I will give them treats from time to time as well. Lil Miss and I will look after your baby. Give them sooo much love and attention and cuddles. They don’t have to ever be in a cage at my place and they can totally sleep on the furniture. My casa is your dogs casa. They will feel at home or like they are on a vacation with me.
About: I have had all size dogs since I was 12. I love that they love you unconditionally. I enjoy walking my dogs, and I can't help but laugh when they get the zoomies. I always try to be patient when they are unsure or need to take medicine. I work full time, but I am available in the evenings and weekends. I am available to come to your house to take of your animals needs. Your animal can also come my house for the weekend if needed. Please schedule in advance. I prefer to do a meet and greet, since I also have two rambunctious kids. I have two small sociable dogs that are both fixed. I've had several Chow Chows and a Great Dane and they all lived happy full lives until they unfortunately passed away from old age. About: Howdy! My name is Julia Schmidt and I am a 30 year old animal lover! I've owned pets all my life, from horses, to parakeets, to dogs, to cats! Animals have played a huge role in my life since before I could remember. To me, pets are family, they are not just animals. Because of this, I take great pride in the way that I care for them and have very high standards for doing so. I am very active and love taking dogs for walks and runs, even hiking and swimming! I could go for miles and miles and never get tired as long as I have a rambunctious pup with me! I also love just hanging out and relaxing with our beloved dogs. In addition to walking furry friends, I am also available for house sitting and drop in visits! I work remotely, so as long as you have wifi, I can spend all the time in the world with your animals, both during the week, and on weekends! I have a remote job and work from home, with a fenced in backyard. I am able to give potty breaks as frequently as needed, as well as cuddle and play time! I’m also able to take dogs out for walks multiple times a day if the weather agrees! I have a fenced in back yard and allow animals to feel at home, cuddling on the couch and sleeping in the bed. I can also maintain training routines and crate training activities and can adjust care plans as needed and preferred by the owner

Animals have always been part of our family life (so much so that my daughter is now at LSU Veterinary School!). I’ve cared for dogs of all sizes and temperaments for years, from energetic multi-dog households to seniors, rescues, and special-needs pups. I have experience with medication administration, post-surgery rehab, blindness, seizures, and senior care. I'm comfortable following detailed routines, giving medications when needed, and adapting to each dog’s age, personality, and comfort level. I’ve helped friends and neighbors with walks, drop-ins, and overnights for years, and I’ve also been on the client side of Rover, so I truly understand the anxiety that can come with leaving your pets behind. My goal is simple: your pet feels safe and loved, and you feel completely at ease. I’m naturally curious about animal behavior, training, nutrition, and preventative care. I’ve volunteered in shelter programs (including TNR assistance) and enjoy continuing to learn more about how to support animals at every stage of life.
