Your Dog’s New Favorite Neighbor!

Hi, I’m Angie! I’ve been a dog lover and “dog mom” my entire life, and caring for animals has always been a big part of our family. My daughter is in her third year at LSU Veterinary School, and my son is a senior at the University of Arkansas at Fayetteville. When he’s home, he loves being my sidekick for walks, outings and dog activities. Dogs really are a family affair around here!
I’ve cared for dogs of all ages, sizes and personalities, from energetic dogs and multi-dog households to seniors, rescues and dogs with special needs. I’m comfortable with medications, detailed routines and adapting care to what each dog needs. I’ve also been on the client side of Rover, so I know how important it is to find someone you genuinely trust with your dog. I’ll keep you in the loop while you’re away, so you can relax knowing your dog is in good hands. I love getting to know each dog’s personality and what they enjoy. Whether that’s walks, backyard play, enrichment, a new place to sniff and explore, or just hanging out together, I want their time with me to feel less like being “left with a sitter” and more like spending time with someone they know.

We call Angie’s house the “all-exclusive resort”! From booking to even after our stay, Angie goes the extra mile for you and your pups. Our two dogs stayed over a night and a day and were never bored! She fit in walks, a creek visit, a car ride, and tons of playtime in the yard. Angie is a true animal lover that genuinely wants to spend time with your pets who will send them home healthier and happier. We are looking forward to the next “resort” stay and HIGHLY recommend Angie to be any pet’s temporary mama!

Angie is a dependable, trustworthy animal lover with a true heart of gold. She connects with pets so naturally it’s like she’s an animal whisperer, and she always goes the extra mile to learn about their behavior and care. I trust her completely to love and protect any pet like her own. I’ve known Angie for several years, and can say without hesitation that she is a truly exceptional caregiver for any animal in her path. She has a heart of gold and a gentle spirit that animals seem to recognize right away, which is why I often joke that she’s a bit of an animal whisperer. Angie is deeply dependable and trustworthy—the kind of person you can count on to show up on time, follow directions to the letter, and go above and beyond without being asked. She doesn’t just “watch” pets; she genuinely connects with them, tuning into their personalities and needs so they feel safe, seen, and loved while you’re away. One of the things I appreciate most is how proactively she asks questions and seeks out learning opportunities when she has questions about dog behavior or care. She’s always wanting to understand the “why” behind what an animal is doing so she can respond in the best, most compassionate way. That kind of humility and willingness to learn is rare, and it shows in how calm and confident animals are around her. Angie and I share a belief in our Creator and in the way all things are connected on this earth, and you can see that in the respect and tenderness she brings to every living creature. Her home and her life reflect that sense of purpose and care. Another bonus is that her daughter is currently in Vet school in Louisiana, which speaks to the values and commitment their family carries into everything they do. If you’re looking for someone who will love and protect your pets as if they were her own, I cannot recommend Angie highly enough. Your pets—and your home—will be in excellent hands with

Safety, trust & environment

For Daycare and Boarding, I keep things small and personal rather than caring for a large group of dogs at once. Dogs are part of my day and get plenty of attention, playtime and outdoor time. For dogs who enjoy getting out, I’m also happy to mix things up with walks, enrichment, new sniffing spots or an occasional “field trip”. When I’m caring for pets in their own home, I follow the important parts of their routine while tailoring our time together to their personality and what they enjoy. I’m attentive to behavior, safety and the little details owners tell me about their pets.

Pets

A typical day

I tailor each day to your dog’s personality and energy level. That might mean walks, backyard play, fetch, enrichment, plenty of downtime, or, for dogs who enjoy getting out, a new place to walk and sniff or a little “field trip.” I like giving dogs a fun change of pace while making sure they get the attention and activity that’s right for them.

And if your dog enjoys getting out, let me know if you’re comfortable with us taking little “field trips” nearby.
