The environment of your backyard with friends and family as well as just your welcoming energy reminded me so much of what it was like when my Uncle Ryan was still around. He passed unexpectedly in 2016, leaving behind my Aunt Krista and their two young girls, Claire was 7 and Hannah was 5. My aunt and uncle loved each other so deeply and enjoyed hosting family and friends regularly. I am extremely grateful that you reminded me of those memories I had forgotten about. Please continue to have people over and share these moments with each other! So again, thank you for proving a loving home for my puppy to stay while also bringing back some wonderful memories for me, even though it was unknowingly. Grover and I will 100% be back to visit again!”

About: I have been a dog mom since I was 15. I currently have 2 dogs of my own, a shihtzu and a Labrador retriever. Dogs are members of our family and get treated as such! I am a stay at home mom. I have a lot of kids, but 3 of them currently stay home during the day. I have a lot of time to go to parks or a simple walk around the pond. It will be just me tending to your pets needs, other people in photos are just part of our dog loving family! I have 2 very friendly dogs in my home and very loving children. There's have a really nice pond to walk around and a lot of toys to play with.

About: I know how energetic dogs are, and I am as well so we’re a perfect match! I can keep them entertained while they are also making my day so much brighter! I am a full time student but classes do not take up much of my day! I love to go on long walks and I can entertain any dog for hours. I can do late afternoons and mornings, as well as nights if need be. I have 2 dogs at home, but here at college I do not have any pets. My apartment does allow pets so it would be no problem to have them over:) I also have the option of a fenced in yard if your little pup prefers to run around freely.

About: I’ve been a devoted dog owner since 2009, and my dogs have always been cherished family members. Our home includes two friendly dogs who get along very well with others, plus two kids who love being part of the “pack.” We have a little pug friend that stays with us sometimes too, but he is also super social! We have a secure 6-foot privacy fence for safe playtime, and I can work from home when hosting dogs that need extra attention or frequent potty breaks. Life here is relaxed. Our dogs run and play in the yard, nap on the couch, and soak up attention all day. I work in Ames and can work from home if pups need more company during the workday. My kids love to help with feeding, walks, and snuggles. I am even available during ISU football games to swing by, feed, or let your dog out. In our home, pets are treated like family. Visiting dogs can play safely in our fenced yard, relax on the furniture, and enjoy plenty of supervised attention. I make sure water is always available, follow any feeding or medication instructions, and keep a close eye on interactions with my own dogs to ensure everyone is comfortable. My kids also pitch in with gentle play, walks, and extra snuggles, so your pup will feel right at home.

About: I’ve taken care of fur babies of all kinds since before I could walk. I grew up with a dog and cat always in tow. I lived in the country, so learned fast that the world can be hard for an animal, thus beginning my rehab ‘career’. As I got older, I pet sat for neighbors and family friends. In my mid 20s I trained as a vet tech, prepping animals for surgery, giving vaccinations, nail trims, etc. Until the ISU Wildlife Clinic closed, I volunteered there, learning more care for wild native animals. I’ve had dogs and cats my entire life, I can’t imagine life without animals. I currently have a senior border collie named Lola, she has arthritis so sometimes she needs help getting around and I’m always willing to help my girl. I also have a senior cat. Currently I’m a doordash/grub hub driver, so I literally am free 24/7 to care for your pets! I will prioritize Rover over delivery, so I can work with any schedule you need. I’m available for repeat needs (several walks a week, drop ins, etc). I live in a duplex with a yard. For me to board a pet, they would need to get along with my dog, and she can honestly be a bit grumpy meeting new dogs, so I feel going to the client’s home would be best. I will respect your home and follow whatever instructions you have for the care of your pets.

About: I have been watching/ caring for my own animals for 3 years now and on and off have watched animals since I was about 12. I am comfortable with giving the animals a bath as well! As of 12/03/21 I am free all day/night, I am open to any time! I am open to coming in the mornings, afternoon, and evenings.
