“Elizabeth was great! This was our first time using her to house sit with our 2 pups and they loved her! She sent us fun photos and she was very responsive when we checked in while we were away. We'll be using her again soon and highly recommend her! Thank you for everything Elizabeth!”

About: I started out walking/sitting dogs around my neighborhood when I was 15 (currently 21). I have pet-sat at multiple people’s houses as well as invited dogs to my own. For about 2 years, I also frequently volunteered at the Humane Society. Dog-walking and drop-in visits are my speciality because I am currently a full-time General Manager at a coffee shop and a college student! I have puppy and kitty of my own, and would love to meet yours. I adore animals so much and have been trusted to care for many different pets in the past. Walking dogs and doing daily drop-ins is preferable because of my schedule. Typically, I am available in the afternoons & evenings on weekdays, and sometimes the mornings! On weekends, it depends on the day. I would love to house/dog-sit, but I would need to know a little bit ahead of time! While dog-walking, I promise to keep my full attention on your pet at all times. I have experience walking larger-breeds because of past jobs, as well as walking my own Doberman mix for years before he passed. I am able to keep them under control. While dog sitting or doing drop-in visits, I always follow exact instructions. I am clean, organized, thoughtful, and compassionate with everything I do. **I have taken care of senior pets, disabled pets, pets with special needs, pets with daily medication, pets with behavioral issues, anything! Though I currently have a full-time job, I have plenty of free time before/after work that I would love to spend with your animals :) Getting the exercise is a plus too!! I cannot currently provide boarding in my own home, but I will fully respect anyone else’s home I enter. Any instructions left will be followed to a T, your personal belongings will never be touched, and communication is key!
“Jaymes was so great! He sent pics and videos to me throughout the weekend and my babies really loved him. He was attentive to their needs and gave them all of the love and affection while I was gone. My house was exactly the way that I left it and Jaymes was in constant communication. I would absolutely use Jaymes again on upcoming trips!”
“Aziz has been amazing on every front. When I needed a pet sitter with almost zero notice, he was at my house the next day. He was flexible with timing, always responsive, and kept me up to date. My dogs loved spending time with him and were all over him. He took great care of my house, too. He’s a smart, reliable, and compassionate sitter who I will ABSOLUTELY use again.”
“Kerry was great! Very loving sitter and I appreciated that she sent pics of my cat Bootsy while I was away. She made me feel very comfortable while having to be away from home!”

About: I have 6 years of pet sitting experience, and have petsat dogs, cats, chickens, hamsters, pigs, and fish. What sets me apart is my experience with my 13 year old cat. She is diabetic and has a host of other senior Kitty problems. I administer insulin twice a day, glucose curves, and oral medication. I am comfortable doing all of this with your fur baby too. I am also known to give excellent pets and belly rubs! I am now in an online graduate program to become a physician assistant, so my schedule is flexible. I am available to house sit or make frequent visits to check on your fur babies. I would love to walk your pet around the neighborhood and take them to the dog park if that is their interest as well. I give all the pets I petsit lots of attention and cuddles each and every day!
“We love having Magnolia watch our pets in our house when we’re out of town. One of our cats has a health issue and we feel so comfortable with Magnolia watching her. When we got home the kitties were happy, bowls were full, and house was clean. Thank you!!”

“We felt totally at ease leaving our 2 dogs in her care at our home. Our dog Oscar can be very shy and timid around new people, but I felt as though he warmed up to her quickly. We will definitely re-book in the future.”

About: I’ve had pets my whole life, as long as I can remember we had cats and dogs growing up and I’ve had dogs and cats my whole adult life as well. I’ve never met a pet that I could not win over. Right now I am working on a photography project and have some time throughout most of the days and as a lover of animals and an owner on Rover, I thought my free time would be well spent with fur babies. I’m 43 years old, I am childfree so no cancellations due to kids. I’m extremely athletic and my schedule is fluid. So I do house sitting and care for your pet when you’re headed out of town, we will do a meet and greet close to time for your holiday so I know your routine for your pet or pets and I will stay with them overnight as requested. I would likely have to leave occasionally for things like drop ins and walks but will come right back to your house and pet or pets. For walks, look no further! I average 7 miles a day, I’m always looking for a workout and I only have a cat right now so puppy dog loving is more than welcome! Cats have a special place in my heart so you can trust the litter box will be clean, they are watered and fed and whether they are doing ok. Expect cute photos and lots of your cat getting cuddles and love. I’ll update you on if they are eating and using their litter box as normal.
“Moments after landing in New York, we received a message that the Rover we booked had a family emergency and had to leave. We were so distraught! After a frustrating call with Rover help, we contacted Kissie who responded within seconds, and went to housesit for us almost immediately. While we would normally never book someone without a meet and greet, Kissie understood the situation and truly came to the rescue. She was so responsive and responsible, and our dog had the best time with her! She even sent us personalized video messages and gorgeous photos that made our dog look like a model. So thank you Kissie, for saving our trip!”

“Brianna was amazing with my puppy and cat!! My puppy was always well behaved when left alone but while I was traveling she discovered a love of cardboard and Brianna was able to get to her quickly and make sure she couldn’t eat anymore of it. Brianna was also able to bond quickly with both of them, who are normally very shy and she was even able to take my puppy out for short walks (she’s normally very scared on walks). And the house was just as I left it! 10/10 would totally recommend!”

“Madelyn was absolutely amazing when staying with our dogs in our home for a week! We received constant updates as to how they were doing as well as things we should know about around the house. When the week was over Mady cleaned up after herself and left the house cleaner than it was when she got there. We will continue to use Madelyn whenever we need dog sitting and we would recommend her to anyone else who needs the same services.”

About: I’ve owned different breeds of dogs from pit bulls to chihuahuas. Growing up I was the dog sitter for everyone around. I bathed walked and took care of them mostly from the comfort of their own homes as their owners were away on trips. I am between jobs rn so for the next couple weeks I am completely free any time of day any day for whatever needs my pets may need. My yard is not fenced in so outside time at my house will consist of being walked on a leash for as long as the dogs may need. But otherwise they will be inside.
About: I have taken care of dogs since I was little! We always had dogs at my own house and my parents and family members have always relied on me to take care of their pups! I am currently a student at the University of Tennessee Health Science Center studying Physical Therapy! My school schedule will help keep my availability flexible! I am always happy to just let dogs out and run around in the backyard or walk them! I love playing with dogs and will make sure they’re well cared for!
Shelby Forest-Frayser pet parents share their Rover experiences
This is the fourth time we’ve used Cole and he is outstanding with our dog Lexi. We went to an outdoor music festival so we were out most of the evening. Cole updated us appropriately and sent the most adorable photos of Lexi during the night. You will not find a more responsible sitter on Rover than Cole. GJC
