About: I am a lifelong dog lover with 5 years of hands-on experience working in a doggy daycare. During my time there, I cared for dogs of all sizes, breeds and personalities through daycare, overnight boarding, feeding, medication administration, playtime, and plenty of one-on-one attention. This position strengthened my customer service experience, so I understand the importance of communication and keeping parents updated. Although I left the daycare to return to school, my passion for dogs never went away. Becoming a Rover sitter allows me to continue doing what I enjoy most. I strive to make any animal feel safe, loved, and comfortable while you're away. Whatever your pup needs, I'd love to help! Thank you <3 I am currently working a full time job and am only available for your needs on the weekends, starting with Fridays at 4pm and ending on Sundays. These accommodations could be arranged if my work schedule aligns and there is a discussion had beforehand. If earlier arrangements are needed for Friday, I could offer a drop in visit. “Amy took care of our pack for a long weekend and we were so pleased with everything! We have four rescue dogs ranging in size from 15lbs to 95lbs, so our house can be hectic at times. Amy made a point to learn each dog’s quirks and really connect with them individually. Amy was very thorough during our meet and greet, asking lots of questions about the dogs, their needs, and their schedule. She was well prepared upon arrival and the dogs all took to her immediately! One of our dogs began limping while we were away and Amy immediately sent us videos and pictures so we could decide the best course of action. We decided to treat with meds that we had at home and Amy kept us updated as our pup recovered. Amy even texted the next week to check in and make sure our girl was feeling better! I can’t recommend Amy enough! She took great care of our dogs and home. She was very communicative and prepared. Everything we want in a sitter!”

“I entrusted Ami with my fur babies while my husband and I went out of town for a few days and she was wonderful!! About: I grew up with a variety of dogs — a golden, dachshund, and Pomeranian. I think I’m well-equipped to handle a variety of them, and I understand each dog has its own idiosyncrasies that must be tended to. I’m virtually available whenever now that I’m finished with school and I’m eager to get started! As far as how pet care fits in my own regimen, I don’t neglect any of my dog’s needs and feed, water, and walk him everyday, and I can assure you there’s nothing to worry about when I care for yours! I genuinely enjoy being around dogs — being without one throughout college has made me realize how sorely I’ve missed having one, and I’ve recently taken on a new one! You won’t have to worry about a lack of attention — I love meeting and interacting with them, and, more importantly, you won’t have to worry about them wreaking havoc while you’re gone.

My puppy was always well behaved when left alone but while I was traveling she discovered a love of cardboard and Brianna was able to get to her quickly and make sure she couldn’t eat anymore of it. Brianna was also able to bond quickly with both of them, who are normally very shy and she was even able to take my puppy out for short walks (she’s normally very scared on walks).
