About: I have cared for large breed dogs for my entire life, and I’ve worked in animal care for 5 years. I am experienced in administering medications and understanding animal behavior from my work in animal shelters. I currently work at a veterinary clinic! I am off on every other weekend, and have a day off during the week. During every work day I am available to check in on your pets on my lunch break, and I get off early in the evening so I have plenty of afternoon time to spend with them! I am new to Rover, but have been pet sitting for many reoccurring clients for about 3 years now. I currently have four cats of my own, and I am a neonatal kitten foster and have bottle babies on and off. As such, I am adept at handling fragile cats with special needs. I am very experienced in administering medications of all types to both cats and dogs, including injections, oral, topical, etc.

While I was away, my cat’s tail wounds reopened and she had to be taken to the emergency animal center to get them stitched back up. Not only did Mickale pick my cat up from the emergency center early in the morning and drop her off all the way across town at a pet boarding hospital, but she was incredible at communicating with me about what was happening throughout the entire time she was caring for my cat and she went so above and beyond with caring for my sweet kitty. With a fenced-in yard and a flexible schedule for walks and drop-ins, I make sure pets feel safe, happy, and cared for🐾 Pet care fits well into my routine. I work full-time Monday through Friday from 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m., but I am able to come home during my lunch break for potty breaks, feeding, and check-ins when needed. I’m available before and after work, as well as evenings and weekends, to provide walks, playtime, and plenty of attention. I’m committed to making sure every pet feels comfortable, safe, and cared for while their owners are away!! I have a fenced-in backyard that provides a safe space for pets to enjoy some outdoor time, and I always prioritize supervision and safety. I treat every pet like they are my own and take the time to learn their personality, needs, and comfort level. I also love sending photo updates so owners can feel connected and confident that their pets are happy and well cared for while they’re away ❤️

About: I'm an early bird so morning walks are always in; Sir Connor (Rest In Dog Paradise ) he was a shih tzu mixed. He was not neutered, because I wanted grand fur babies at the time. I have fostered over a dozen dogs and a handful of cats. Daisy May was an extra addition to the family while I was fostering a puppy I called Maxwell; Maxwell has been adopted by a caring couple! Daisy May is currently the only dog I have so far. Sitting Schedule: Breakfast is at 10:30. I'm reading on how to train dogs and so treats would be ideal for play time! Dinner is severed at 7:30 I feed twice a day. If I have your dog on the weekend, they get to go on a field trip to Overton Park or Mud Island Dog Park. They also get enrichment time with pet toys and snacks! I also groom on the weekend. I mostly had dogs as pets; I rescued a cat and named him Jeffery and he was adopted by a loving family. I’ll be working full time once the school year starts! Daisy May is crate trained; I also have a foster puppy who has his own crate too. I have a doggie gate if separation is needed. About: I grew up with a variety of dogs — a golden, dachshund, and Pomeranian. I think I’m well-equipped to handle a variety of them, and I understand each dog has its own idiosyncrasies that must be tended to. I’m virtually available whenever now that I’m finished with school and I’m eager to get started! As far as how pet care fits in my own regimen, I don’t neglect any of my dog’s needs and feed, water, and walk him everyday, and I can assure you there’s nothing to worry about when I care for yours! I genuinely enjoy being around dogs — being without one throughout college has made me realize how sorely I’ve missed having one, and I’ve recently taken on a new one! You won’t have to worry about a lack of attention — I love meeting and interacting with them, and, more importantly, you won’t have to worry about them wreaking havoc while you’re gone.

About: Animals are a major part of my life! I have always had pets growing up as a child, and my love for them has grown into my adulthood even more. I have a passion for learning and understanding all different types of animals. My experience in pet care is from having my own pets and caring for family's pets, friend's pets, and volunteering over the years. I am currently in grad school and focusing on that, so I am home full time during the week. This leaves me plenty of time to spend with your fur babies! I have a fenced-in yard with two fur babies of my own to play with yours, if they’re friendly! If not, my babies are crate trained.
