“5-star, 10 out of 10, hit it out of the park! Ashley was so professional with the process and made me very comfortable leaving my dog & cat for the first time. Lots of photo updates and messages to help me feel good and be able to enjoy my trip away.”

“Kayla was an awesome dog sitter! She stayed overnight with our two pups, and they loved her! Kayla sent great photos and updates, and had great communication throughout her stay with our pups. We will definitely book her to sit for us again!”

About: My name is Alicia. My friends say I am fun loving , trustworthy, and kind. I love animals.I’ve always owned a dog or cat. I find joy in taking care of my animals and I will treat yours like my own. My sisters dog came to stay with us…she’s a German shepherd mix.At first she just stared out the window and wouldn’t leave the extra bedroom. She was very sad. I would go in the room and pet her and give her treats. Eventually I convinced her to join me and the other dogs. I’m good with animals. They are naturally drawn towards me I volunteer part time two days a week. I also have a 17 yr old who I drive around a lot. But I still have a lot of free time. I’d like to get to know the pets owners and see where they keep the food and other supplies. I would treat your home with care and respect

About: Hello, I’m Meredith and I have grown up with dogs most my life. I have rescued a few of the untrainable or unwanted babies. But within weeks I was able to house train and workout aggressive behaviors within months. Over the years I have also helped friends and family with their pets all to include: cats, fish, birds, rabbits, lizards, dogs and Guinea pigs. Most recently I was also able to train an older puppy to use his doggy door while in home sitting! I absolutely love that each animal has its own personality and love catering to them. I hope to help you when you need to get away for a bit but still want your pet(s) to feel loved and cherished! I will truly love them like my own! I currently work full-time but am home 5 out of 7 days a week. My office is centrally located within Shelby county so I am able to step away on the two days I am at the office. I have a fenced in yard along with a kennel for my pet. She does better with small dogs if in our home. I do allow other dogs to stay out of kennels if they are trained as such. When I’m at your home I will care for your pets just the way you do. The more continuity the better for your pet! Feel free to leave as much details as you like and I will follow your lead!

“Adel was wonderful with our very anxious pup. This is the first time we've left her more than a few hours and we felt very comfortable leaving her with Adel. He did his best to keep her calm even though she was really missing me! He stayed in contact and sent pictures.”

About: Hello- I am currently a college student and a mom finishing up my master’s degree. My husband and I own four cats and a Husky. My oldest cat is twelve, and I've had him since I was sixteen. He has asthma and has an issue with muscle deterioration due to the steroids he is on for the asthma, so I do administer his medications daily. I have experience giving dogs and cats pill and liquid medications, understand behavior of dogs and cats quite well and since we have a Husky, I work with high-energy dogs too. I've had the pleasure of being around animals all of my life, and I am comfortable being around them 24/7. If you would like for me to house-sit in your own home, please know that I cannot do overnight stays as I have my own babies to take care of, but would happily stay for part of the daytime. You must be aware that since I own animals as well, if you know your pet has problems with the smell of other animals this could potentially lead to a bad outcome for myself or your pet due to territorial issues (things like pet aggression, jealousy, nervousness, overall behavioral channges in your pet that could lead to injury to myself). Giving me the opportunity to care for your furbaby means I can provide for my family and spend valuable time with my child while also focusing on my studies. I love to be active with animals, take them on runs and to the park, play fetch, and get those zoomies going! Send me a message if you'd like to book with me! Please know due to appointment scheduling, I may or may not be available at certain times during the week and will give you a heads up if there are any conflicts. Thank you! 😊 I do currently work part-time doing Uber Eats to bring in some extra income, so I am pretty flexible during the mornings and the afternoons. I can easily crate your dog if needed so long as a crate is already provided. If we do go on walks and come across another animal that your pet doesn't care for, I will walk in another direction to avoid confrontation. I also carry mace with me just in case of an animal attack so I can better protect myself and your baby as well.

“Another great sit from Jaymes and Jude! It seems like every time we travel there is exteme weather. And every time Jaymes handles it all like a pro. Taking car of our house, car, and pup. We are so grateful for this duo!”

About: From my experience in shelter care and veterinary medicine, I am very comfortable with caring for dogs of all sizes, ages, and medical needs. I have dealt with strays and owned pets from every imaginable background, and I believe every animal is worthy of patience, respect, and affection. I’m currently unemployed so I have a very open schedule for watching your dogs and cats! I typically let my own dogs out about 4-5 times a day, and they each have their own feeding schedule that I attend to as needed. I am very flexible right now, and would also be available to do fluids, injections, and other specific medical and behavioral needs (e.g., extra walks, extra play time, etc.). I have a fenced in yard and three friendly dogs, and two sweet cats, to keep your furbaby company. I am comfortable crating dogs and have an extra crate for a small-medium dog. One of my dogs is a senior dog with special needs, so I am perfectly comfortable housing and caring for dogs who have their own special needs. I also have a dog with epilepsy so I am very used to dealing with seizures and the safety precautions that go along with them. These dogs have also never met a stranger, and our home is an overall very welcoming environment to all creatures (I even have a pet spider!).

“I highly recommend Amy. She took great care of pups and home. We came home to two happy dogs . Amy was well prepared and gave us updates on how the stay was going.”

“Absolutely perfect first house sitting stay with our pup. Great communication, excellent care of our pup and our house. Really good guy, we definitely recommend that he take care of your pets.”

Eads-Fisherville pet parents share their Rover experiences
Jennifer was a fantastic house sitter for an 11 day stay for my 2 large dogs and 2 cats. This was an emergency, and so I had to book her with only 2 days notice. She came to meet with me and the animals before, and very quickly learned the routines for walking, feeding, and caring for the animals and the household. Everything was fantastic during her stay and she had excellent communication and tons of pictures. She's also kind of a neat freak, and left the house cleaner than when I left it!! I know my animals were well cared for, and would definitely have her back. 10/10 - and I would definitely recommend Jennifer to anyone looking for a house sitter!
