Hello! Thank you for visiting my page! My name is Abby, and I have been providing pet care since I adopted my first cat at age nine. Now, I am currently raising my own golden retriever puppy, who is about one year old. Recently, I have turned my love for animals into a side hustle by providing services on Rover. I am a student, so my schedule is flexible and can provide frequent potty breaks, drop-ins, etc.. I am easily reachable for updates as I am able to work part-time from home.I am comfortable administering medication and have experience taking care of more senior dogs or those with special needs. I provide dog-walking, drop-ins, boarding, and housesitting services. If choosing to board, I have a very friendly golden retriever, Prince Theon. I adopted him last summer, and he is very good around both cats and dogs. He is socialized with both cats and dogs every day at daycare. While I live in an apartment complex, I believe that exercise is a must and take my dog to the dog park within my complex to run around and play fetch quite frequently. Living on the island, I have plenty of opportunity to give long walks and plenty of playtime. I care for pets as if they were my own! I look forward to hearing from you!

Abby was professional and communicative throughout our initial meeting and her time dog sitting in my home. She sent pictures and was respectful of my space- leaving it just as clean (or cleaner) than it was when she arrived. I felt 100% comfortable leaving my dog in her care.
My girl was in excellent hands with Abby for her drop-in visit. I really appreciated the photo updates and knew my pup was happy to see her friend while I was away.
Milo had the BEST time with Abby and Theon - we were worried he wouldn’t want to come back home 😂 I had total peace of mind during his entire stay. Highly recommend!
Abby was so nice! I had her watch my dog for a few hours while visiting town, and she took Millie on a walk and played with her. Millie returned a tired and happy puppy!
Abby was great, and Finn loves hanging out with her and Theon!
Abby is awesome! Goose had a blast staying with her and her 1 year old golden. 10/10 would recommend. Great communication!

Schedule
I am a graduate student, so my schedule is flexible during the week and on weekends. I am able to work from home some days as well as having flexible hours while at work. This means that I am able to come home and care for any animals that are boarding at my place during the day. I have my weekends wide open and like to spend them taking my pup on island walks, going to the dog park, or giving him some TLC.

Safety, trust & environment
I live in an apartment complex but have access to fenced in areas within my complex including an apartment dog park. Living on the island, there is plenty of green space for long walks and play time. Please feel free to suggest any special requests! I do my best to accommodate any situation and can be reached on my cell phone for picture and/or text updates. In my home, if your pet prefers its own space, I am happy to accommodate with kennels. In your home, I will respect your space and any requests you may have.
Pets
A typical day
I love to take dogs outside to run around, play fetch, and go on sniffy walks. Indoors, my dogs love to cuddle and get lots of pets. A typical day starts with breakfast and some play time/ potty time outside. After play time, I usually let my animals relax and nap for a bit while I get some work done. Lunch time is followed by a walk and more play time. Around dinner time, my dog is a fan of plush toys to wind down in the evening. I am happy to accommodate your fur baby in any way possible. I am flexible with my typical days and will adhere to most recommendations from my clients!
