About: I have always been an animal lover but I really started getting into taking care of animals in high school. My first job was at Country Friends Vet Clinic. During that time I got my CVA 1 certification(certified veterinary assistant) and I ended up working for them until I graduated high school(an amazing 2 1/2 years!). During my high school years I adopted two cockatiels named Ollie and Speckles. They became my bestest little friends. It was then that I realized I loved taking care of pets. My senior year of high school I also ended up adopting a Leopard Gecko I named Hikari! She loves watching top gun😂. I then moved out to college and got my Bachelor’s Degree while working as an Operating Room technician at Texas A&M Small Animal Hospital. I also recently(Nov. 2024) earned my RECOVER Basic Life Support Certification. It was in college that I got my first pup, Atreides. She was my soul dog and I loved her to bits. Three years later I adopted my Belgian Malinos, Azula, to give her a friend. I also found out that I love training dogs and so I spend most of my free time seeing what crazy things I can teach my pups! After Atreides passed, I adopted another German Shepherd in honor of her, a puppy named Ashoka. She is my little shadow and always makes sure I’m taken care of. All of this is to say I have tons of experience with high energy pups and I don’t forget the small animals! I am a full time college student so during the school year I might have a little more limited of a schedule but if I’m free I’ll definitely be able to swing by to check on your fur babies! I will also have more time on weekends to care for your pets. I am a big fan of always having something stimulating for your pet to do! Whether that is playing with toys, doing enrichment toys, or training basic obedience I like to make sure I am doing something exciting with your pet! With all that play I always remember to provide water in this Texas heat. While taking care of your fur babies I will feed, walk, play and clean up after them so you don’t have to worry when you are away! I also love exotics!(I have two cockatiels and a leopard gecko)

If they are super active, I can take them on 1 to 3 mile runs or hiking. If they like to be a couch potato, I have a great big bean bag with their name on it. About: When you are away, your pet is welcome to be a part of our family! We want your pet to be happy and feel right at home with us. As a mother of three children and caregiver to my own pets for the last 20 years, your pets will be in experienced, caring hands. Our neighborhood is great for walking dogs, with plenty of green space, minimal noise and traffic, and lots of dog-loving residents. Your pets will have the same indoor privileges that our pets have, with a backyard for playing and a pool for swimming if it suits their fancy. Our kids will want to make friends with your pet and help with feeding, watering, patting, playing, and brushing while being supervised by mom. Pets should not fit through 4 1/2" gaps in fencing, or be interested in climbing over fences. All vaccinations should be up to date and be able to show proof of vaccination. Cats will be indoors only and must be litter box trained.

We had the absolute best experience with Myranda while we were away in Italy for two weeks. She took such wonderful care of our two cats, Brakes and Basil. From the very beginning, she was responsive, communicative, and totally on top of everything—which made it so much easier for us to relax and enjoy our trip. Brakes can both be a little particular and tend to hide (as cats can do sometimes), but Myranda clearly took the time to get to know them, and it really showed. She gave them so much love and attention, and it was obvious they felt safe and happy with her. We loved getting all the updates and photos—it really meant a lot to see them so content while we were away. We came home to two very well-cared-for and chatty cats and a tidy home. I truly can’t recommend her enough. She’s kind, trustworthy, and clearly has a real heart for animals. We’d be thrilled to have her watch Brakes and Basil again in the future.

We were nervous first-timers leaving our two pups, Nigel and George, in the care of someone new—but Lyric blew us away! Lyric made sure both of our dogs got the attention they needed—whether it was high-energy play for one or gentle bonding time for the other. One of our boys takes a while to warm up to people, but her patience and gentle nature won him over. Now, he lights up every week when she visits! We couldn’t have asked for a better sitter.
